  1. see, all is well... clinton wore his bills hat to match ralph, hillary pandered for WNY votes at the bills game, she also spoke on good legislation to help children, and jim kelly helped a sideline audio man back to his feet after getting PWNED on the sideline.
  2. it looked like he was motioning the guys near him not to touch the ball (as most players do when a punt takes a wild tragectory)
  3. Well, I stand up next to a mountain and i chop it down with the edge of my hand! Well, I stand up next to a mountain and I chop it down with the edge of my hand! Well I pick up all the pieces and make an Island Might even raise a little sand.
  4. As other posters have alluded to, its impossible to rank JP in the "middle of the pack". QBs in the nfl these days tend to be great (brady, manning) or complete crap (whoever's the QB of oakland, culpepper) with no inbetween... Can you rank JP above the frye guy from cleveland, or brunell, or drew brees? I don't know, and quite frankly, i don't really care! I'll take the JP we have now over the JP we had after 4 last year htough. He's shown great improvement and maturity this year. IF he continues his current progression, he'll be big league at the end of the season, but because of where he came from, he's not there yet. You've gotta go one step at a time before you reach the top. Losman continues to be solid and continues to make great throws. if he receives the support of his coaches (gameplanning) or his teammates (josh reed actually catching the friggin ball/peerless pretending his walter payton in the backfield), he'll be a pro bowler by the end of the year... Partly because of his development and play and partially because chaz batch, charlie frye, etc. are in his conference.
  5. I remember distinctly that one of the clinton staffers had a bills jacket in the early 90's... He was always near clinton when he walked outside... Just something i remember. And speaking of that hat, how about ralph with his hat! he really looks old there...
  6. or 15 weeks...
  7. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2609563 that clown should be suspended for the year. that was a terrible play!
  8. do we get any of that chili?
  9. don't know... probably free if you say the right things.
  10. if a hard reset (pull the plug, wait 5 minutes, plug back in) does not work, its probably something more serious, like your card got fried because your receiver is funky... ling term solution: new receiver. Short term solution: head to a bar... Bring your laptop so you can gain access to TBD... ladies love laptops at bars
  11. the most amazing stat of the night: the kicker only completed 4 of 10 extra points... shocking
  12. i was told that the pain meds for the surgery would last for most of the day, and due to my grogginess, the pain really wouldn't be bad till day 2. I guess since yours seemed to be a more minor procedure than mine and others described, your pain hopefully won't last too long. good luck!
  13. my dad has one of the license plate ez passes... his audi has a super thick windshield that blocks UV rays, as well as ezpass signals, so he signed some application and sent it in for the license plate deal. its easy, no pun intended.
  14. hey, i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the first day is a breeze. It's day 2-5,6,7 that's the bit--. I had my wisdom teeth out about 5 years ago. i had the full anesthesia, for a good reason. they had to break my lower jaw to get the bottoms out. After i came out of the general, i was fine... groggy, but fine. first night, i ate a normal meal... curried chicken and something. It was the next morning that was a problem. If your mouth heels like mine, there'll be sharp, unbearable pain for a few days while you try to eat or open wide... gradually it will be replaced with a dull persistant uncomfortable pain that will last for a week or so... the best part is when the stitches pop off.... then its like letting go of a mighty taco fart after the hot chick leaves the elevator. the relief is great, and once it's done, its done for good.
  15. how would you rate natural ice?
  16. samuel l. jackson in anything is hilarious, motherfu----!
  17. remember, we didn't fully know kelly had "it" till 1989 against the dolphins. There were glimpses, but it took a full 3 years in the NFL for kelly to have "it". Had losman completed that 4th down pass and continued to march down the field, he'd have had "it" too, but he didn't, and we wait. We won't know "it" till it happens, but "it's" coming. Losman is a very capable QB on skill alone. He's shown that he can improve though, which is HUGE. He's not there yet, but improvement has been shown. Hopefully he breaks out by the end of the year. As for mcgahee, i don't care if he ran for 300 yards last week... Till he gains a first down on a crucial 3rd and short, he's another nobody RB. This team is closer than we give them credit for, but they have to learn how to close down a game. When they can actually stop a 4th quarter drive on Defense, or close out a red zone opportunity, then i'll be more confident... As for the draft, i agree fully with the other assessements... Not sexy in the least, but 5 years from now, the buffalo bills will have had the best draft from top to bottom.
  18. this was the first sentense of the main story, right on the frontpage of cnn.com. http://www.cnn.com http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/25/saints.return.ap/index.html that's from the full story...
  19. nice shot!
  20. well he hasn't lived through the night yet, but i'm sure when he's not critical anymore they'll assess his injury in terms of football.
  21. Critical but stable condition after having his ruptured spleen removed. Received blood transfusions. He played through the injury though, sorta like eric lindros a few years ago (collapsed lung, if i remember correctly?) no link yet, its being reported on espnnews.
  22. wish i was there to enjoy some "zima" with you guys..
  23. JP will again be ranked lower than rohan davey on fantasy football free agent lists after this game... However, the bills will win with some smart passing decisions by losman, a mechanical running game by mcgahee, and defensive pressure... TKO with an interception Schobel will be held 30 times without a flag thrown whitner will stick someone coming across the middle special teams will be special pennington will be forced to attempt to win with his bionic arm bills 24 jets 13
