robert royal makes a positive play. holy crap
-
at least you can still bring your dignity!

I hope they play a balanced gameplan... willis is a victim of bad o-line and coaching... with both improved last week, hopefully he can ride that wave this week.
-
as per CNN right now. interesting... sounds as if the Fox affiliates had something to do with the decision. I say good for whomever came to the decision for OJ. update: http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/20/o...l.ap/index.html

i knew right away that price had the TD... the ONLY thing going through my head was friggin kevin dyson and frank wycheck, and sure enough.... at least we stopped them this time, and at least the texans got off a legal lateral.

I honestly didn't even see him on the field... Serves him right for advertising for taco bell in the heart of Mighty Country!

Where do you rank this game...
Corp000085 replied to ESPeculatioN's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i remember beating the vikings in OT about 4 years ago... i remember RJ singlehandedly beating the chiefs about 6 years ago... I remember flutie's bootleg TD... I remember a game when the bills went to OT against the bengals, when moulds got hurt.. Travis had a sweet OT td run against the bears 6 or 7 years ago... Um, that's the extent of my great bills memories for the past 10 years. pretty pathetic, but this game ranks up there. Will it be losman's coming of age? we'll know after the jacksonville game i guess... -

the fact that we had a true 4th quarter comeback led by the QB... that's point #1 right there. Say what you want about JP, but we haven't had an outright comeback victory like that in YEARS. -
That's What I'm talkin' about!

willis' career as a buffalo bills running back came to an end against green bay 2 weeks ago... getting stuffed in a crucial red zone rushing attempt. I wish him the best wherever he plays next year. his trade value outweighs his heartless talent at the moment. A train with an upgraded line from willis' trade value is better than willis and what we currently have in front of him. but jerry is spot on.. oj is up there but cookie and lou aren't? a wall of shame indeed. -
they'll have plenty of time to knock out carr during the last 10:00 of the 4th quarter...
-
that was funny... the best was the end when he just sat on the keg and smoked a cig

after you're done with that pickax in OP, i believe the cardinals need your service about some statue that's cluttering their stadium entrance.

remove him from the wall of fame. he was a great football player and deserves to be up there for his football accomplishments, however, he was accused of murder, then moved to florida to avoid payment of the guilty verdict he received int he civil trial, and now flaunts the murders for profit. No, he was never found guilty of the crimes, but come on now... Bob Kalsu, died in combat, Buffalo Bill, marv levy, World War II veteran, Buffalo Bill, fuggin OJ Simpson?? are you kidding me? At this point, since we don't have a buffalo bills hall of fame, you honor oj's playing career with distant memories, not something that national TV picks up during every field goal attempt. and by the way, the bills would be cowards if they removed it offseason in the dark... remove his name DURING a football game... now that would send a statement!!

1) hogan--definitely one of the WORST pure wrestlers of all time. he was out of shape for most of his career and injured for all of it. Yes, he was out of shape... those 24" pythons were the work of steroids, so was the flab though. probably contributed to his injuries and lack of skillset. his persona and popularity far outweigh his downfalls though, so he's #1, and there really shouldn't be an argument about that. 2) Andre The Giant--He carried the WWWF from a regional promotion to a national promotion and set the seeds for the guys like hogan to explode the popularity. there would be no hogan if it weren't for andre, and i'm not even talking about their WMIII match. This guy was unstoppable, and he worked the last 10 or so years (including that aformentioned match) from a wheelchair... no, he didn't actually wrestle from a wheelchair, but he was stuck in one before and after. That wrestlemania match totally transcended the business. It was a passing of the torch moment, and comeback moment, and a shocking moment all in one. The only thing in sports that compares is probably super bowl 3 with naimath and the jets. no wwe today without andre, period. Oh yeah, about his wrestling skill... he pretty much sucked compared to the great technical wrestlers (hart, benoit, steamboat, etc). but he was a big guy and used slams, splashes, and big guy moves to perfection. 3) Rick Flair--Best ring persona ever and a damn good wrestler... the only thing that keeps him below hogan was the lack of mainstream press in the 80's... this dude survived a plane crash in the 1970's in order to tell us all that "the night time is the right time for stylin' and profilin'! WHOOOOOOO!" 4) Bret Hart--Best pure wrestler and best worker of all time. It's unfortunate what happened to his family and his career (his brother died in a freak rappelling accident, his career was Lafontained, and right after he suffered a stroke as a result of a bike accident) special mention goes to the hot rod, rowdy roddy piper... not for his wrestling skill at all, not for his mic skills (he had both), but for They Live... One of the, if not the greatest "B" movie of all time. http://youtube.com/watch?v=-3Fzfmf48DQ that's a little sampling.

Someone from the U shot and killed
Corp000085 replied to Corp000085's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I had nothing bad to say about Bryan Pata. Again, RIP kid... It's just unfortunate that this shooting had to be tied to the university of miami football team, thus strengthening its negative image. Yes, there's be more benefit of the doubt thrown Pata's way had he been a [insert midwest D-III school here] student, but that's not due to Pata's legacy, that's the legacy of the college he attended. I hope that whomever ended Pata's life is brought to justice. Again, i did not mean any disrespect to Pata, and quite frankly, that's all that matters. -
was that the guy who knocked himself out against the brick wall, or was he one of the other 300 QBs between theisman and now?
-
its under the "breaking news" banner on espn.com. It's sad that some college kid gets shot, but this case, no matter the details, strengthens the case that the university of miami is a breeding ground for thug life. edit: his name was Bryan Pata... RIP kid
