  1. kinda scary... the bills turf caused that injury.
  2. Nah... the price to sign a top 5 draft pick is outrageous nowadays.
  3. Bellichik brought it up in his PC today. He made mention to the willfork hit on "the buffalo QB" and how it was a different circumstance. Very vague, but telling, as yesterday's hit was clearly legal, clean, and unfortunate and willfork's hit was dirty, obvious, and illegal. Was he saying that yesterday's hit was clean, or was he saying that willfork's hit was intentional and yesterday's hit was unintentional? I guess now we'll get our questions answered... Is BB the great coach that everyone claims he is, or is he that same useless sack of crap that coached the browns who unintentionally found a hall of fame QB due to bledsoe's injury?
  4. What kind of injury did culpepper and mcnabb have? It took them two full seasons to come back, and culpepper never fully recovered. The verdict is still out on mcnabb.
  5. You know, I was thinking about this all night long... Were the bills THAT good, were the seahawks THAT bad, or were the seahawks a decent team that got manhandled by a GREAT team, or a combination of those choices... I'm kinda hoping the seahawks turn out to be a decent team. It will make yesterday's thrashing even more fun to remember.
  6. He's gotta at least suit up in a backup roll. The only question is though: who do you bench?
  7. so maybe he can be an overpayed backup RT for chambers next week! In all seriousness, it is great that peters passed his physical... I am not expecting him to start or for the lines to be juggled much, but i'd like to see him play a spattering of drives at either LT or RT next week in jacksonville. That may be just enough to put the bills over the top in the oppressive florida heat.
  8. Edwards was efficient and did a great job after the miserable first half. Even during all the incompletes and pressured checkdowns, his biggest mistakes were being off target. No giant sack, fumble, or INT. He waited out his time till the defense let him make some plays. Totally unspectacular but highly efficient. As for your point about the O-Line, well, walker was totally invisible all day, which is exactly what you want your LT to be. Chambers, on paper, was totally outmatched, but he totally blew up patrick kerney all day long. The interior of the line was a little weak. Lynch had no holes to run through, especially on that first drive 3rd and short. With that said though, fowler played a good game. The bills were in shotgun a lot during the game and you have to give credit to the center for being able to snap the ball well, especially in the rain. Parrish... Um, this dude is a monster. I really wanted to see parrish in the offense more, but he's just fine as a 3rd or 4th WR and a returner specialist. That TD return was ridiculous. The defense... Well, where have you guys been for the past 10 years? the pre snap looks probably accounted for half of hasselbeck's crappy throws. They not only physically dominated, but they were mentally in a higher zone than the seahawks. There was no answer. Finally, I do know that the bills have always had trouble in florida during september, but I see no reason why we can't beat the jaguars. The bills are a changed team this year... A much better team than we've seen in years.
  9. The bills ran the friggin wishbone offense today folks... Also, the rushing TD was an inside draw play from a shotgun. That sorta stuff would never have flown in the I-formation every single down of the game fairchild offense. major props to the playcalling. Also, trent called some plays at the line too. Letting t he QB make decisions on the fly is a huge advantage over what we've been used to for the past few years.
  10. that's awful. I hate brady and everything that he stands for, but if the knee injury turns out to be a season ender/career changing or ending moment, i have to feel bad for the guy. Get better tom... just not till you're riding a treadmill in your basement watching the bills in the playoffs.
  11. so we're up 20-7 on a playoff team, in horrid weather, and our defense reminds me of the 85 bears, lynch has about 60 yards, td and a few catches, AND our playcalling has been phenominal, yet we're still complaining about edwards? Folks, hasselbeck is a damn good QB and he's sucking pretty bad too. the weather is bad, but the bills aren't. this is a great team we've got here.
  12. that hit looked NASTY.
  13. blasphemy
  14. Wait? Peters is holding out? Oh crap, why didn't any of you guys post this before now?!?!
  15. Great... L. Walker's arm is apparently a-ok!
  16. Hey, what would labor day be without some manufactured controversy?
  17. so he lived for 12 days off of life support... that doesn't seem like the "humane" way to let someone die in dignity. Either way, RIP
  18. http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/09/0...ref=mpstoryview Wait... I hear something... Ah yes, its the world's saddest song being played on the world's smallest violin.
  19. so he'll report on labor day? that's friggin ironic.
  20. Apparently Flordia's legal code doesn't apply to the NFL.
  21. AWESOME! This is hilarious.
  22. Well, we know he can now play at least at a bledsoe level.
  23. I listened... they also gave mad props to bruuuuce as the best afc east player ever.
  24. I wonder if turk is the turk?
  25. Wow, i'm very relieved to hear about walker's arm... Did anyone else see a season ending break/muscle tear/elbow dislocation happening sunday night? I sure did. The fact that it's "bruised" is a giant relief.
