  1. The Hobbs comments are clearly taken out of context.
  2. Now i'm very worried. The rams were going to be an absolute pushover. Now with green as QB, they might actually rally. However, the bills have to be quick learners here. No team is a pushover, especially a seriously hurting team like the rams. Hell, look at what the bills almost did to the cowboys last year on MNF. With that said though, its a very good thing that the bills were tested hard against the raiders last week. Maybe they'll play a 60 minute game this week against the rams. Also, lets all remember to remind the country that the bills fans are the best in the world next week. We can do this all by sending lots of flowers to mrs. green and setting up some sort of memorial for trent, cause it will be a bloody miracle if he makes it through the game alive and walking.
  3. Upon final analysis, the bills defense was one TD reception from being totally non existent. If I had to choose a weakness today, it would have to be the kickoff coverage and the turnovers. Evans really looked out of sync today. Shore up the mistakes today and the bills would have won by 30. Not their best effort, but they put it together when it counted. A win is a win, no matter who it's against or by how much. The bills clearly can play far better football throughout the game, but i don't think they can play much better than they did in the 4th quarter.
  4. someone please use the auto mod feature, quickly!
  5. and when you have janikowski on the sideline, you can't just let the bills wind the clock. That last series was a total embarrassing for the raiders, not for the fact that the bills shredded them, but for the fact that it was the worst clock management i've ever seen.
  6. That hit won the game for the bills for the simple fact that they showed that they weren't going to roll over and die. Great leadership for the guy that made the guarantee.
  7. Figures... he never finished a game while he was playing either...
  8. eh, i would have had the play stand as called. evans seemed to bobble it a little bit. Had the call been made the other way and the raiders had challenged, i still don't think it gets overturned. It was a close call and a judgment call on the refs. The whole point is moot had the ball been on target and/or evans come down cleanly with it. Luckily it did not cost the bills the win in the end.
  9. that play was great. the entire o-line pushed forward about 5 yards. that's run blocking folks... And it made up for the crappy short yardage blocking plays earlier in the game.
  10. It was a late tackle. far less serious than a punch to the face, but the reality of the nfl these days seemed to dictate that whitner get the axe too. Yes, the punch is far worse than a late tackle, but i'm really liking the fact that the refs were on our side today.
  11. I honestly don't know why whitner wasn't thrown out of the game. Seemed like the perfect opportunity for a tit for tat call to make up for the guy who punched reed in the throat.
  12. Cause his clock ran out after that taunting penalty TD?
  13. 250 or so yards, 1 TD, countless 3rd down completions, and a 90% completion rate, in the 4th quarter alone... um yeah, i'm sold too. Remember in the Bible where Jesus turned water into wine? Well Trent Edwards turned that wine into beer.
  14. My take is that one of two things happened (pure speculation here. I do not know the facts): 1) Crowell's contract extension talks hit an impasse. He had some knee issued which he could have played through, but he did his thing till the contract stalled. Then he got his knee evaluated and came back to the bills with a diagnosis of surgery. Bills IR'd him to spite him and to free up a roster spot. 2) Crowell's injury diagnosis was far more serious than what was let on. He attempted to play through the pain but couldn't. He had the choice of a small scale surgery with the 2 month recovery time or the full blown season ender. The Bills IR'd him, took some lumps from the media, but shielded Crowell from criticism because he tried to play through... In reality it probably was a little bit of both. Crow tried to play out during the contract talks with the injury, when they broke down, he decided to have the surgery. In this situation, you can't really fault either side for the way it was handled... You can fault both sides for not being clear and forthcoming with the media. In the end, Crowell is probably a broken player at this point. He'll still get his one last contract, but whether it be with the Bills or someone else, he's probably relegated to being a situational player.
  15. sorry for your loss. good luck in your search for peace too. I cannot even fathom the possibility of putting my dog down. I'd do it if and when I have to and I'll deal with it then, but honestly, i'd much rather NOT attempt to prepare for that day, ever. As for now, my beagle is sleeping comfortably in her cage ready to go crazy all day tomorrow.
  16. Sure do... PM me with your girlfriend's phone number.
  17. its ok though. dogs are great for giving blumpkins.
  18. My wife got a 6 week old beagle puppy for a graduation present in may. Needless to say, her dog is now my dog and she's a wonderful almost 7 month old now and I love her more than anything in the world at this point.
  19. they broke it down by talking up schobel, edwards and evans and severely talking down about jamarcus and jaraiders. Bills better friggin win this game, since basically everyone and their mother thinks they will win.
  20. No way. It's hilarious that someone is mocking breast cancer awareness.
  21. just saw it. never knew there was a dumber player than leon lett.
  22. so what happened, for those of us who weren't watching the game?
  23. They've gotta find a way to thank the guys building the new stadium somehow...
  24. For whatever reason, he's found a home in dallas. I think he's a douche, but he's definitely matured over the past few seasons. And yes, he's the best receiver in the NFL right now.
