  1. As long as Andre is inducted, i don't really care how long it takes. WRs historically wait forever to get in. We'll all wait for Andre. Too bad Irvin didn't have to wait. Oh well!
  2. I wouldn't relive any game day moment, simply because remembering them in my distant memory will make the super bowl championship that much sweeter. I would relive the whole Jim Kelly hall of fame experience though.
  3. I haven't the foggiest. I just buy the individual tickets. I got 3 for myself and a couple of my friends. We've stayed in a hotel in alliance, ohio, which is a dumpy town about 30 minutes away the past couple times we've gone. we'll probably stay there again. If not, my in laws live in youngstown, which is an hour away, but obviously free room and board!
  4. i got my tickets for the enshrinement ceremony. I plan on staying about 30 minutes away, so i'll get the hotel later on this week. I'm on standby to get tickets to the game. That stadium barely holds 20,000 people, so it will be sold out fast.
  5. an Orchard Park AFC championship would spell disaster for my ear drums.
  6. Not to get totally off the original topic, but Bruce Smith totally redeemed himself in those 2 minutes of talking from the heart. Not once did he mention himself. Hell, he barely mentioned the Buffalo Bills. For him to credit his father for everything in his life, that speaks volumes about the real Bruce Smith. Hopefully he'll do more of the same for his enshrinement speech.
  7. But he is 90. With all due respect to your opinion, it stinks! Ralph is the man, and this is the ultimate show of respect for his contributions to the game. On a day when Bruce Smith finally credited someone else for his success and showed genuine humility, a man with a bigger impact on the history of the game than Bruce could ever dream of was inducted. Congrats Ralph, congrats Bruce, and congrats to everyone else inducted. The game's biggest honor fell upon two of our guys today. But nothing. We all owe it to them to show up in Canton in August!
  8. We absolutely KNOW that andre will get in. It's just a matter of time. Then you have the wildcards like talley, tasker, and hull. You've gotta assume that tasker will make it at some point. Talley and hull too. They're borderline guys that won't even be thought of till they're eligible for the senior nominations. Folks, this may one day be confirmed as the greatest team ever, if you go by hall of fame representation.
  9. And that my friend guarantees a victory for the Bills.
  10. This is terrible news... for my liver!
  11. Set up an FTP server?
  12. He was an offensive line coach. However, he did look just like Fat Bastard, if that counts for anything. Apparently he's a "volunteer" assistant coach with Southern Illinois University, whatever that means.
  13. It's a sliding scale.
  14. Paul Newman and Orsen Wells are in it. It's good.
  15. For $4 million, you better have included the blumpkin, angry dragon, and abe lincoln to your list
  16. I'd ask the old lady her name. If she said "Bea Arthur", she could ride with me all night long.
  17. Expert: Colin Pillinger--Worst shooting range glasses/chops combo EVER!
  18. Apparently the gift non-call of forward lateral must have slipped his mind. Although I hated to see Willis McMoron's team win, I have to give credit to the football gods for screwing over the previously anointed AFC Champion Titans. The football gods have given the gift of tit-for-tat to the boo hooing titans! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs2008...tory?id=3826899
  19. Depending on what you get, the price may be a little more for a whole network setup, but the benefits are worth it. You will get the power and flexibility of a linux nas box on your network and the reliability of a raid 1 setup. I love it and i'd never go back to a usb external drive, unless I needed it for a specific purpose like a hard drive image to be placed in a safety deposit box or something. My main issue with most usb boxes is that they're passively cooled (no fan), so they get really hot which decreases their lifespan. I went all out with my setup last summer when I woke my computer up from sleeep and the usb drive wouldn't wake. I lost mp3s, wedding pictures, saved program source disks... you name it, i lost it. Overall, i spent about $300.
  20. If you want 1 TB of storage, buy an inexpensive NAS box that supports raid 1, then buy two internal 3.5" 1 tb drives and then you'll have the space you need with the redundancy of raid 1. Plus, internal drives + the nas box still is cheaper than one of those fancy usb drives. I have the d-link dns323 nas box along with a gigabit switch and 2 512gb hard drives. Faster than usb if you can believe it...
  21. I'm going. The last two times we went, we stayed at the holiday inn express in alliance, which is about a 30 minute drive to canton. We plan on staying there again this year too.
  22. Yes. He started the AFL, saved the AFL, and now, hindsight is beginning to tell the entire league that he was 100% correct in 2005 when he didn't vote for the CBA. All that on top of the championship team that he's been the original owner of since 1959. We may make him the scapegoat now for the Bills recent troubled, but there's no way is Ralph not a hall of famer.
  23. But he cut him. So, regardless, in this one instance, I'll stand behind my positive remarks of JJ.
  24. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3817195 So now he's alleged to have set a hit on the accusers? I will get grilled here for saying this but Jerry Jones just made a very decent and good move. I have a shred of respect for him now. Rather than "seeing how this plays out" or "rehabilitating him through mentor deon and mentor michael", jerry said enough's enough. As for pacman, hope he likes broom handles... He's gonna see a lot of them in the near future.
