Seems like the scenario went something like this. 1) clausen gets drunk on appletinis and/or cosmos 2) fan sees clausen getting drunk on some mary drink 3) fan wonders "self... why is this douche getting drunk when he should be getting ready for Stanford?" 4) fan continues to wonder as he drinks his beer 5) fan gets drunk enough to approach Clausen 6) fan pays bar bill in order to make a VERY quick exit 7) fan asks clausen why he's drinking cosmos 8) clausen mentions his flowing golden locks 9) fan punches clausen in the face 10) fan runs like hell.

The good thing is that when you have that terrible of a break, it actually doesn't hurt too bad because of the shock (not that I know from experience or anything). It's tomorrow morning's poop that's going to be a problem for Eric Wood.

Utterly pathetic. I'm a teacher, so I can say this: what the hell are teachers doing these days? Good lord! This is stuff I learned about in kindergarten! On the original topic, I'm going to start watching the WWII series this weekend, i'll reserve comments till I see it. I'm glad the history channel is showing something worthwhile again though. I don't get why Russ Brandon is thrown under the bus for the football operations role... This is a money guy, a marketing guy, and quite frankly, a guy who's done a fabulous job with limited resources. He doesn't really "oversee" the football operations at all. He's there, but he's not the guy. Anger should be directed at Guy, Modrak, etc. I say that you have to do 2 things: 1) keep brandon on the business side... change his title to VP of operations or something like that. 2) hire a GM and make him the VP of football operations. 3) the GM will hire a coach, scouting staff, etc. If the bills are gonna roll with shanahan, give him that vp of football operations title so he can be GM and coach.

According to some mouthpiece on NFLN, Gregg Williams is also a top choice. Hot coordiator who knows the system in buffalo. He failed to mention a few things though: Sucked even worse than DJ as the bills head coach, was already fired once by Ralph Wilson.

People will be asking him questions about this that and the other thing about not producing much in denver over the past 5 years or so. He can go all "patrick roy" on them and say "hey, i can't hear you. I have my super bowl rings in my ears"

Take everything that's gone on with the Bills, make it the complete opposite, and that's the Buffalo Sabres. Oh please... This whole boycotting thing is ridiculous. Everyone go. Fill the stadium to capacity, but do what they want to do in Cleveland. Organize a walk out for the opening kickoff and/or drive. Go hang out in the concourse or the club areas for 5-10 minutes for the first drive. Silence is deafening, but to have people go back in unison speaks volumes too. Simply boycotting is not a solution. You could also, god forbid, boycott buying beer or something too, but don't skip the game. That's just stupid.

Fire Jauron, promote April to interim head coach. Hire a GM in february to bring in his own guys, including a new HC. You'll at least show that you're trying to fix this season and you'll still have that "buzz" for season ticket sales in February. The thing about the "interim" tag, is that it is temporary. The only downside to this is that if the new regime wants to keep April, he may not stay if demoted back to ST coach. Oh well... collateral damage.
