  1. proud franchise. great city, great owner, greatfanbase
  2. Short term losses, long term gains. Look at 82 and 87... without those lockouts, the $ucce$$ of the 1990s and 2000s NFL does not happen. I'm all for shutting it all down next year.
  3. No love for Gus? How sad...
  4. Ralph fought in World War II. Did that nugget bring you any more appreciation for him?
  5. I would laugh at the irony!
  6. I have a dyson dc-25 animal. It's an upright, but its the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used (not counting the kirby of course). While this vacuum cleaner does not fit your requirement, I know dyson makes a canister vac which you should look at.
  7. Gotta love when Berman says (I'm paraphrasing here) "Will Houston ever recover from this?" Turns out, the Comeback Game was the beginning of the end of that franchise. Not every day that we get to witness the literal destruction of a franchise... Unfortunately, we witnessed another destruction as the Titans (in a rebirth of their franchise) got the music city miracle on us.
  8. Ralph Wilson IS the Buffalo Bills. If you don't like it, get out of town.
  9. I would change nothing at all. Everything happened for a reason and has made us what we are today. Would I change events leading to WWI or WWII? No. Would I tell MLK to get the hell out of Memphis? No. Would I push the ball a foot left in tampa? No. I am who I am today because of history. My great grandfather liberated a German town (I forget the name, I'd have to speak to my grandfather about that one) and was awarded by Gen. Pershing himself. My grandfather was awarded a medal by Boris Yeltzin because of his actions in WWII. Other grandfather was nearly killed by a kamikaze in the pacific. That event defined him, thus defining my father. Some events in history are truly great, some truly suck, and some kill thousands and millions of people, but I wouldn't change any of it.
  10. So did Brady today.
  11. First of all, its pop. In this order... all from a can. I'm partial to canned ginger ale rather than fountain ginger ale 1) Canada Dry Ginger Ale 2) Schwepps Ginger Ale As far as cola, "No Coke, Pepsi!" I like pepsi out of a fountain rather than canned though. go figure.
  12. WWII in HD is pretty awesome. I am only about halfway through the series on my dvr, but so far, so good. I concur though, history channel hasn't been good in 3 or 4 years. I used to love interesting shows like History's Mysteries, this week in History, etc. As far as the "reality show" crap, its on EVERY friggin channel. I dare anyone to set a 12 hour timer on either one of these channels HGTV, DIY network, Food, discovery, or animal planet. I bet you don't make it 45 minutes into those 12 hours before you go nuts with the reality shows. Everything is reality this, reality that. Luckily, we're absolutely saturated in it. It's cycle hit its peak and now hopefully it will go down soon so we get some more shows with substance before the next craze catches on.
  13. our best coach got us to 7-9 and worse for the past 4 seasons... next
  14. "flag on the play"
  15. I've gotta believe that Lester is the backdoor direct link to ralph. Call him a rat or whatever, but there's no way a low level staffer survives 25 years of regime changes shuffling film and paperwork around.
  16. Maybe, but roids don't cause throat cancer.
  17. 8 Championships 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 AAFC 1950, 1954, 1955, 1964 NFL Long ago, or recent, that's enough tradition there to never ever ever ask about tradition for that team.
  18. sounds like reverse discrimination no matter how its sliced.
  19. Would interviewing a hispanic, native american, or pacific islander satisfy the rooney rule? If so, give Ted Nolan a token interview. After all, he turned the 1996-1997 Sabres into "winners".
  20. Nitro > RAW, period.
  21. Not to change the subject towards a traditional brewing system, but I have the Bunn NHBX. Here's the product link. http://www.bunnomatic.com/retail/products/nhb.html I had been burning through mr coffee, black and decker, etc pots in the $30-$50 range every year. I made a pot 7 days/week, 52 weeks/year and these things only lasted a year to two years max. The Bunn was $140, but I got it on sale for $90 5 years ago and it hasn't had a hitch. It makes a perfect pot of coffee in around 3 minutes. Drawbacks include a simple toggle switch (therefore, no timer, if you're into that) and it uses more energy cause it basically is a mini hhot water heater. However, the extra water causes the water to be forced through the grounds fast, using a pressure gradient, rather than an impeller like a standard coffee pot. Coffee tastes great and the thing is durable as hell. IMO, if you're in the market for a new pot, spend the extra $$ and get a real machine like this one.
  22. Hmm.. How could I come across an internet feed...
  23. huge throw by rodgers to driver there
