Ha... That's a blast from the past. I'm sure she knows the conversion rate or whatever it was that she was asking. Now its on to more important things, like if Jesse James' page has been updated with his current marital status.

Saw the whole series when it was on last November (or december). It was great. I enjoyed the WWII series on history channel about 5 years ago that chronicled the last 6 months of the war, a week at a time. I forget the title of the series, but its tagline was "exactly 60 years ago today". With that said, I am looking forward to the American history series that's coming up in April. That should be a good one.

My favorite coffee is 8'oclock coffee original. I buy the whole beans and grind them to a medium grit using a coffee grinder weekly. Then I brew it in my Bunn coffee maker. Don't get my started on coffee pots, cause I'll argue till the day I die that Bunn makes the only coffee maker worth anything. I do enjoy the STarbucks Christmas blend, but that's only available november/december. I will drink Dunkin Donuts coffee too. Very flavorful, but for a pure coffee taste, I love 8'oclock. What's yours?

Super Bowl XXV on NFL Network
Corp000085 replied to loyalbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Such painful memories. However, that was as perfect a Super Bowl as has ever been played, even 19 years later. If that kick would have gone through, it would have been the best Super Bowl ever... I guess its hard to call a game the best ever if it ends on a mistake. Remember Lofton tipping that ball and catching it? Stuff like that hasn't happened for the bills in at least 15 years. Remember Thomas taking that draw for the long TD? Again, stuff like that hasn't happened for a long time. After years and years of this BS, I'd take 100 Scott Norwood misses and the ensuing heartache over losing and looking like a JV team as we have for the past decade. -
ok, here's a step-by-step: 1) using computer with wired keyboard, go to apple.com 2) spec out a computer of your choice 3) pay for overnight shipping 4) wait at the door for a few hours. 5) put up a gay "unboxing" video on youtube.

I want one... My dad pre ordered the wifi one. The 3G one seems like a ripoff since you have to pay $30/month for a limited data plan. They're good for a highly portable computing experience (i.e. checking email, browsing pictures), but i'd be skeptical of reading on them. My wife has a kindle and it's awesome. I think that the iPad is not a kindle killer, since the iPad is a multi-use device, whereas the kindle has one single use. The screen on the kindle, with the eink, will blow away the ipad for reading books, however, the ipad will blow away the kindle, or any other sort of netbook for portable computing. Steve, get the wifi version. It's a glorified, expensive netbook. It's about $250 more than a crappy netbook (minus the $60 apple wireless keyboard). Total cost is between $500 and $700... Not to shabby if you ask me for ultra portability.

music city miracle on NFL channel
Corp000085 replied to tennesseeboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, lets call a spade a spade. It WAS INDEED a forward pass. I don't care how close it was, how time has softened anyone's stance, or how anyone can play devil's advocate, it was a forward pass, period. I can't argue any more on that topic, so i'll leave it alone. Two things I'd like to comment on regarding that game was it was an absolutely epic playoff game and the play of RJ. First, that game went back and forth, both teams were blowing up the other team, and it truly could have gone either way, if you somehow forget the controversy at the end. In terms of RJ, we all know he was a bust of Biblical proportions, but that one game, RJ played like a hall of famer. He got the living crap knocked out of him and came back for more, and did everything he could do to win that game for us. Yes, he sucked, and is a black eye on the history of this team, but you've gotta give kudos to Rob Johnson for that one single game. Too bad that the MCM had to happen, which has caused a slow bleeding death over the past 10 years. -
What was Jim Kelly's score? Chances are, he wouldn't have worked at the JPL had he failed with the Bills.

Will Mo'Nique show her hairy legs at the Oscars?
Corp000085 replied to WisconsinBillzFan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Unfortunately, the only oscar movie i've seen this past year has been Inglorious Basterds. Great great great movie, but its the only one I've seen. I'll reserve comment till I plow through them all on netflix in the coming weeks. As for the legs, good lord... -
First of all, saying that you connect under "linksys" is a dead giveaway that your router is set to factory settings, which are totally unsecured by design. Look on the bottom of your router and find the model number and version. It will be labelled there. Next, look up information on the internet as to how to secure your router. Since your router has factory settings, I'll assume that you're new at this... You'll want to print a hard copy of any how-to list from the internet and make all changes to the router from a computer that's plugged into one of the ethernet jacks on the back. Securing your router will also help you isolate your problem. Once its secured, you won't use "linksys" as your ssid, so you'll be able to isolate if it has 2 signals as you have mentioned. Also, once your comfortable securing it down, you'll be comfortable messing with the wifi settings to possibly increase your wifi signal, change the channel, etc. After you're all done with that, you can really experiment by uploading DD-WRT or tomato on the thing since the stock linksys firmware blows. One last note, before you make any changes, from that wired connection, go to the linksys website and download the latest firmware update to the router and put it on there. You can check your version info from the web interface. As Darin has mentioned though, you've got about a 99.999% of having a neighbor with an unsecured linksys router. Get that fixed before his teenage son downloads child pornography using your connection, because when the feds come knockin, they'll bang on your door, not his.

That scoring system makes my head hurt; however, it is very informative. I truly had no idea as to how points were determined... I just thought it was odd that so and so in 2nd place could have won a race, and only gain about 3 points on the leader, yet if so and so crashes, he drops 149 points or something. Funny that something sooo complex could have come from a bunch of good old boy rum runners.

Ever since eating quaker oats (3/4 cup + milk + honey + 3 minutes in microwave + noodles + pickle juice) for breakfast, I have had the best experience eliminating waste. You all should try it.

I've got CNN on and they have some NOAA scientist in studio and he keeps c-blocking the sensationalism of that weather dude. It's pretty funny actually. -
Holy crap... turn on cnn. No tsunami yet, but if this isn't some nerve-wracking TV, I don't know what is. Tsunami is scheduled to hit at any moment.

There's apparently a tsunami risk all the way in Hawaii. Looks like Haiti just got pushed to page 6.

The pictures and video are horrific, and if you have not viewed them, I recommend NOT viewing them. With that said, RIP guy... You died playing a sport that you love, which is how any of us would have wanted to go. As for the accident pictures and video, it looks like that guy was either knocked out or incapacitated before he even hit the pole (which killed him instantly). I'm typing this because it may bring consolation to anyone with nightmares over what they have just seen. This guy didn't feel any pain, in my estimation, which is a very very good thing. Again, RIP.
