  1. RIP to those who died in the buildings, on the planes, and subsequently in Afghanistan and Iraq.
  2. I'm just hoping for some rain here Friday. We live in Fayetteville, which is about 90 miles inland from the coast, so we're not in any danger if it runs up the coast, but I'd like to get some rain for the lawn!
  3. Might as well close this thread now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgmoX_FcT3Q
  4. I thought Tim Connolly was Mr. January.
  5. Mods, I know there's a bills backers forum, but after looking through it, it seems to not get as many views as OTW, so i'm asking that this thread stay active here for a couple days before being rightfully moved to the bills backers forum. Anyhow, I have about 10 people so far who would want to do this, and I know that there are a few Fayetteville people who post. I am thinking of two locations, so if anyone is interested, send me a PM. Thanks!
  6. 69 News... You can't make this stuff up folks.
  7. I use the built in mac firewall... for windows, i use the built in windows firewall. Doesn't block outgoing connections like ZA, but then again, if you know what's installed on your computer and you're proactive about crapware, you should be ok. I found ZA to be a resource hog and gave up on it about 8 years ago.
  8. E-E-E-E-A-E... Repeat 2 chords, Not Fade Away.
  9. The chord discussion reminds me of this:
  10. It's a great day for football!
  11. Awesome ending, or in his case, lack thereof.
  12. Soooo hot outside right now
  13. I was not flat out accusing him of faking an injury. I gave that as an example. Yes, I implied that he may have been faking, but the facts are the facts. Dude fails the test and feigns injury for almost 2 weeks, gets MRI, knee revealed to be fine, player passes test 12 hours later. Sometimes 1+1 doesn't need to be expressly stated as equalling 2 even though we know the answer to be two.
  14. Funny that he passes 12 hours after an MRI shows his knee was fine (i.e. caught faking injury). The Boz has a seat ready for Fat Albert at the "bust table" when it's all said and done.
  15. [plug] Speaking of the Inner Circle, please stop by www.sabrespace.com, our sister site dedicated to the Buffalo Sabres and NHL to have intelligent conversation (TBD circa 1998) regarding our hockey team. [/plug]
  16. I want the first string offense and defense to execute their limited gameplan. For the past forever, I've watched the first stringers get blown up, only for the scrubs to come in and win the game or make it close, masking the real issues. I just want to see a well organized drive that gets us some points.
  17. A young owner can go at any minute. Ralph is physically fit for a 90 year old. As far as whether this team will stay or go, I hate arguing it, cause the fact is that when Ralph decides to sell, or if his family decides to sell once its willed away, the Bills aren't going anywhere.
  18. I'm not eagerly awaiting anything, unlike this guy.
  19. Yikes. I'd absolutely LOVE for those pictures to be released. Talk about suspension city from Herr Goddell. I'd love to see the golden boy's name dragged through the mud.
  20. They should hold his contract status and just keep him on the reserve list. That way he can't go through with his actual intentions of playing for the cowboys or texans.
  21. This is a tough question. This roster has been absolutely littered with guys that have lots of talent on paper but have shown nothing due to coaching. Guys on defense like Maybin, McKelvin, and Whitner are ready to explode, especially Donte. On offense, you have every guy who has ever played O-line, tight ends, quarterback, oh hell, basically everyone. I'd like to see Edwards finally succeed. Lynch is much better than what he showed last year. Do we even have tight ends? IF they're utilized, they can be an asset. There's so many players, I'm going to expand on PTR's though and go with the whole coaching staff. I think that we will finally all see this season that this is a professional football team rather than a bunch of disappointments and fuzzy memories of greatness.
  22. How about that kansas city game. Johnson, out of all the failed QBs since Kelly, really angers me to this day. In those small glimmers of brightness, the dude was an absolute warrior and really good QB. The rest is a sorry sack of crap, which we can all agree upon. Unfulfilled talent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHtoy1778H8
