My take, neither kolb nor Manuel play defense, which has the potential to be a top 3 d. With a stout defense, with a returning stevie, game planning for a run heavy, play action attack, and it doesn't really matter who is in at qb. With that said, this injury/procedure thing is only news cause it is preseason. IMO, Guys don't randomly have knee procedures without a glaring injury. Manuel will be fine, and this giant thread will be a blip in a month.

I'm right there with you. Over the past decade, I have always used the line "It's only preseason" after our glorious 0-4, 1-3, 2-2 (with 2 wins coming in garbage time/camp fodder time) years. In the back of my head, I always knew that there was no way that the team would ever turn it on. Yesterday, we had production from every facet of the team, especially from the starters and 2nd string guys. I'm not ready to proclaim that we are ready to dominate, but truth be told, that thought is percolating in the back of my head. I'm glad that there is a short week. We'll see what this team shows against the Vikings on Friday. It's one thing to dominate one game, but to do it again is another story.

We like our teachers young and inexperienced. Most new teachers who move here last 1-3 years before moving back home. It's pathetic, but one of the reasons why we're #46! Yay for #46!!!!!

I'm about 1/3 into my MSA program. For education at least, in North Carolina, there's tons of options with state schools, plus there's the online route. Of the two schools close by, one continuously produces crappy school administrators and the other does not. I chose the better one. Also it's not too difficult, just very time consuming and you learn to loathe Microsoft word.
