  1. or he learned his lesson during his internship with the bills and will be a great coach.
  2. i guess he wants us to e-mail him
  3. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the coin toss winner has the choice of kicking or recieving, or chosing which side to defend. I got upset at tasker because i thought that there wasn't a choice to be made after halftime. You can't have the same team kickoff before the game and after the half.
  4. This was in the first half though when the D line was not producing much pass rush. It will be interesting to see what happens with the sam adams/ron edwards thing. If shobel can start playing with speed again, he'll generate the sacks himself and by pushing the QB into the DT's. Also, we've got the ravens, who have a pretty crappy QB.
  5. I was thinking the same thing... Reminded me of watching favre dump it to levens. WM is around 80% now and he is the real deal. This guy will be SCARY when he gets his burst back.
  6. does he pull out his bills trademark for the highlight on nfl primetime?? that's must see tv.
  7. we'd have never had rothlesghbfirgr. Well, i'll take that back, we'd have traded next years #1 pick for him and still would have been 1-4 with him on the bench. It would have been the exact same situation, except we'd be giving pittsburgh the #1 pick instead of dallas.
  8. darkness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. not to start a war, but i just meant today. willis reminds me of thurman today. the way he'd get hit before the first down and wiggle through the pile to go 2 yards after the first down. that's all i meant. Thurman's still the best back with a living wife in bills history.
  10. BLOUSES would you care for some grapes?
  11. without the booze at this point... KILLER block on that moulds catch by the way
  12. i can't remember if it was before week 6 or after?? hopefully its tuesday, cause i think travis is as good as gone.
  13. maybe he's already gone? i was thinking that there will probably be a trade tomorrow morning.
  14. Well, for one i'd take Jim Kelly over Bledsoeso any day of the week. Is that it? Or is it the extra 8000 fans that would fill the stadium before the box seats?
  15. "wide right" i can't believe i didn't say that first... damn me!
  16. campy, they said they need 2 backs as lip service because willis was not ready (like ruff and regier saying that we need 2 goaltenders when hasek was hurt). He's obviously ready now. Back to the original thread though. If this rumor was started by one of "us" on a message board, i wouldn't throw 2 canadian cents towards it. If it was started by a source, then yeah, the trade deadline might be interesting for the first time since cornelius bennett.
  17. "With the fourth pick in the 2002 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select..." "Todd Collins, from the Shotgun" "(insert opposition receiver here) is wide open for the touchdown" "Watson, back at the 10. Here's the punt. Watson tackled at the 8" "We're going to play the hot hand" "This team will get the record for most sacks in a season"
  18. maybe he's there to watch willis SLASH through the dolphins defense.
  19. Ok, if you look at the last 2 drives that the bills played against the jets, and spurts throughout the rest of the season, plus shaw's release, plus RW's comments, plus the fact that someone on the offense has a hit on their head for their "performance", i think that the dolphins are the perfect candidate to test out a wide open balls to the wall offense. First, how's that for a runon sentense, second, this will open up the running game. A major misconception about running to set up the pass is that you have to have a really good o-line. If you have an o-line like the bills, you need to pass first to relax the DB's to set up the run (hopefully willis, not travis). I think the bills will come out firing on sunday. They're one 3 and out away from mutany by the fans, so why not? It may be the battle of the movable object versus the stoppable force on sunday, but if MM opens up the playbook, it should at least be exciting. Thoughts?
  20. i don't want status quo. Hopefully this cut marks the beginning of the end of TD. Who knows, maybe ralph still has it going on.
  21. while we're at it: remember when he caught the tying 2 point conversion, spun to dance, dropped the ball, and was called incomplete. Bobby shaw made us argue whether the moonwalk was a football move. fun times
  22. tom, i was just going to say that we all know better.. He never makes it to last call.
  23. sadly, jim kelly behind this offensive line would get the job done about as well as drew has.
  24. We'll beat miami if we rotate henry and willis. When mm started doing that against the jets, the offense sparked. Coincidence? Hopefully with the success of the rotating RB, evans deep ball, and the fact that ralph has spoken, MM will open up the deep game. The perfect chance to do so is against the fins. As for the bills going 0-16, that's near impossible. I'd vote for the pats to go 16-0 before i vote for the bills to go 0-16. 3 of those losses are a direct result of this offense being put under wraps through playcalling, shoddy offensive line play, and penalties. A deep pass IN THE FIRST QUARTER could have changed any of those losses.
