  2. bla bla bla... lets see how long it takes this post to be moved to the ppp.
  3. there's an AP article on the TBD homepage that states just that... Moulds says that if bledsoso continues to suck, he wants jp as the QB when he's healthy. If bledsoso turns it around, then he's all for sticking with the man of granite.
  4. sabres at #47 edit: It's the curse of nick bakay.
  5. kelly, that reminds me of the Johnny Hildo snl skit from about 15 years ago featuring jason priestly. Nice to meet you, i'm so and so Regina.
  6. I guess we all feel shame now for mocking him when some gave their condolences, because he appeared to be drunk driving when he died. Turns out, he was stone cold sober, and the "beer bottle" thrown at police was his chew spitoon. So, with that being said, sorry you weren't able to stay grounded, and RIP. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1911309 edit: I mean Justin Justin Strzelczyk. not joe styzywhatever... sorry
  7. Bledsoe is so done its silly. However, all he needs is a couple good games to get the monkey off his back so he can retire with dignity. He still has his arm and the knowledge of being a good QB. He'll be done till he can win. I just hope it happens, cause he is a good guy and he doesn't deserve this. If the red sox can win the world series, then bledsoe sure as hell can get the monkey off his back, at least long enough to untarnish his legacy.

  9. I am a division manager. People are scared of me. I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS.
  10. if you know the codes, just do a search for codes on the internet. I believe autozone's website has a section where you can input codes. Or you could splurge for the whole computer software program and the cable, but that's around $500.
  11. remember when mop up duty consisted of starting the last game of the season because home field was wrapped up? What was it? 15 years since that's happened? At least now we all know how redskins fans feel.
  12. or keep TD as prez, strip him of GM and give it to this pats guy.
  13. I'm not complaining at all, trust me... I can handle bouncing boobies and extreme closeups of a girl's belly, but what's up with CBS's gratuitous cheerleader camera shots before and after every commercial break? This is a football game and not the national cheerleading championships, isn't it?
  14. frez, i haven't bought a UPS for my computer in 10 years.... I need a new one though, and soon.
  15. mike, i believe shilling will dominate tomorrow I only saw the first inning and innings 8 and 9 (see my computer saga thread for details on why i didn't watch the game). What i did see was a great STL team that ran into destiny. The sox seem to just take whatever's thrown at them and they find a way to win. Hopefully that Dr. will put in his 4 stitches and life will be great. Well, except for a patriots loss tomorrow. Go sox, go jets, and GO BILLS!
  16. Well, all i can say is that a surge protector for a computer runs around $150 for a middle of the road one.. For your whole house? you're talking quite a chunk there.
  17. Our safties suck. They have sucked really bad since kurt shultz/henry jones. Its very underrated because they have great LBs, but i'd love to get a big hit safety in the draft next april.
  18. The underware model chick has a nice body, from ribcage to mid thigh... Its worth the look through the other crap. And no, i don't have a link
  19. guest, everything works great...
  20. I know, but this is free, i just bought the HDD last spring, so its relatively new, plus i don't have to get a new xp disc or do that reactivation crap. Anyways, the new BIOS didn't interact well with my IDE devices being set to cable select, like my last MOBO, so i just moved the jumpers to master/slave and now it works perfectly. I'm pretty jacked to finally have a screaming machine. Hopefully, i'll be able to get a SCSI or serial ATA hdd soon. As for the backup stuff, i actually do have an image of my data from about a month ago on DVDs, it just doesn't have my current outlook archive, so i'm not totally screwed if something bad happens again. But anyways, my computer saga is over. thanks for keeping my thread alive.
  21. First to answer the questions so far: I've picked my nails raw, so salt would hurt. My HDD is FAST. There's no need for a new one, plus this one has all the data on it. Frez, my bios just had to be reset to defaults. Update: I ran the floppy bios flash, and it completed the first bios update, and reset the whole thing. So, i plugged my HDD into the primary IDE channel and IT WORKED! Now i'm at the stage where i'm going to power it down and just plug everything back together and get it set by my desk. After I power it on, i'll begin to reinstall all of my software. YAY. Total time worked so far, including travel time to circuit city: 9 hours 32 minutes.
  22. Ok, long post, that i'll update when i'm more thoroughly done. Suggestions are always welcome. Ok, my father mailed me one of his fairly new computers, stripped down cause he got a brand new computer and kept the components. So, in the mail wednesday i get a tower, intel motherboard, p4 2.0 ghz, 1024 mb DDR ram all put together. This will replace my old computer, pIII 800mhz, 512 mb SDram. I'll be pulling my HD, all my pci cards, graphics card, and CD rom drives and floppy. So, i pull all the old stuff and plug it into the new computer and plug it in. Bad news. The configuration is so different from my old computer that windows won't start in safe mode or anything. Recovering it would be a waste of time, so i take out the HD and graphics card from the new and back into the old, to copy my data files from my system partition to my extended partition for backup so i can put windows on for the new computer. Take out HD and graphics card from old and back into new. From the time i opened the package at my door till this time is only an hour and a half, which is pretty good since 30 minutes of it was copying my stuff for backup. I reinstall windows on my new computer. After that's done, i notice that there's a bios update, so i get that and attempt to make a boot disk for flash. RED FLAG TIME. Somewhere in the transfer, my floppy drive and/or floppy cable are broken. Not that big of a deal since they're from around 1989 and intel makes a bios flash that you don't need a floppy for. I go ahead and do that. Now the stojanovich (i hate that filter, so i'm going with his last name) hits the front chassis fan. My hard drive won't read from the POST. After about 40 reboots, i take the HD, graphics card from the new and back into the old, only to find out that my HD still is ok, at least from the POST. It's gotta be the primary IDE channel on my mobo, since the cd rom reads from the secondary channel. Fast forward to today, 2 days without internet. I get a brand new floppy drive (which are tough to find.) So, all of the stuff goes into the new, i plug my HD into the secondary channel and it works, along with the floppy. So, now i'm to the point where right now i'm typing from my new computer with my primary IDE down, and a boot disk made with my brand new floppy drive for another bios flash, to hopefully complete my saga and get my primary IDE back. Anyways, if you have any suggestions, or thoughts on how to lower my blood pressure without the use of alcohol, so i can get this done, let me know. Thanks brothers and sisters...
  23. Its a good Mother F___in beer.
  24. Hey, i don't know why people bash jeter? this guy is like a solid blue chipper who is the definition of clutch... Although, we probably just bash him cause h e's that good, like brady montana before him and naimath before him.
