  1. bib, after antowain smith, i'm pretty sick of slow starters. If this dude wants any value, he'll tear it up when he's in the game.
  2. bib, i was wondering that myself... It all comes down to seattle. If drew plays lights out and we win handily again, then the door starts to open for drew in 2005 and close for jp in 2005. Its a big IF for the bills to win out and other teams to lose, but a playoff run or a tiebreaker miss of the playoffs would pretty much guarentee drew as the starter next year and JP as #2. But, before i get mobbed by people saying that i'm back on the bandwagon, just remember that drew has to win in seattle.
  3. this dude simply became invisible. Even when he's on the field, he's slow and terrible. I hope that he can gather himself up and be ready to play. Billsnyc stated in another thread that the way he's playing, he'll be lucky to get a 3rd rounder. Hell, i'll go with "future considerations" at this point. He needs to swallow the pill that he's a backup and perform when he comes into the game. Where's kenneth davis when we need him. Personally, i hope that travis lights it up when he's given the chance, as willis did when he was the 2nd stringer. Maybe his agent can tell him in really simple words that if he performs he gets paid more by either the bills or another team.
  4. Who does this guy think he is? He was complaining to the bills about airport security? Hey Richardhead, last time i went through the airport i was stripsearched. Get over it. what's next? Blaming scott berchtold for his chicken wing diarrhea? I really hope kornheiser and wilbom get a hold of all the sound bytes from this game. Between him and ron artest, these guys just wrote their scripts for the next 3 days. It's too bad that the bills won't get these chumps again for a few years. This could become a nice little rivalry between the big bad bills and this whinny piece of crap. http://www.wellsvilledaily.com/articles/20...ts/sports05.txt
  5. parents, brother and sister are coming to town. Having the turkey at normal dinner time (as opposed to 1pm, like my wife's family does). Watching football and farting all day.
  6. simon, he's playing better, but for every game where he plays great, he comes back and gets burned... This is year 4 for him. consistancy would be good right about now.
  7. where'd they put the afc championship circles?? I hope they didn't take them down, as that's a part of history this current bills team needs to do some research on.
  8. f. or j. or speed or quickness, i don't care. this guy deserves a spot. Now, lets see if he can read zone coverage.
  9. the hit was legal, as holt and clements were the only 2 guys in the area, but it was dirty. As sds mentioned, clements sorta barrel rolled into holt's knees. I'm guessing that clements was aiming for his thighs, but he missed along with holt sidestepping it. Thist begs the question: Why did our "premier" CB make the decision to dive on a chuck, leaving him on the ground and holt wide open for a pass? I for one am sick of clements DB play.
  10. I think because it happened after 10 yards down the field. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think evans held after willis had gained at least 10 yards, so the play was called back to the original spot. Also, and again correct me if i'm wrong, i believe his yardage counted on his final rushing stats. He gained 100 on 20 carries, but without that big run, i didn't see how he got more than 75 or so. I have it tivo'd and i'll watch later, but i think that's how the penalty was called. It was replayed 1st and 10, instead of 1st and 20.
  11. has it occured to anyone that this guy was basically forgotten on the practice squad up until halloween? Between his blazing speed, playmaking abilities on returns, and his "F." instead of "J." on the back of his jersey, this guy will make some national stories soon enough. Like that beer truck driver a few years ago, or grocery bagging warner, hopefully fast freddy will become an identity to this team.
  12. Save it for tomorrow or tuesday (i'm really interested in more mike Fartz posts for now), but link please??
  13. you had me at 41 year old grandfather. OOOTstanding, eh!
  14. I'm with you ice. I think he's probably a little quicker than the beginning of the year. What's improved greatly is his vision. He's getting outside and hitting the holes better which lends to him using his speed better. If he's not 100% now, i really can't wait to see what he is when he gets there.
  15. yeah, i'd agree that this may not be the best special teams unit ever, but if it isn't, i haven't seen one play any better than this bills team. Holy crap man, they about tied the offense in yardage, plus they got a turnover on the other side. Fast Freddy Johnathon Linton Smith, Clements and mcgee are exciting to watch, along with the hard hitting coverage unit.
  16. I saw it on TV. They booed badly at the end when they kneeled down, and when the team kicked the 20 yard field goal. Other than that, i really didn't hear much booing because i was too pissed off at the beginning to hear anything anyways. I'd imagine that drew didn't get booed too much cause he was literally on fire today hitting campbell.
  17. he's 1.0-pi^2/9 at full speed.
  18. It's great to see someone making excuses for getting their ass handed to them by the BIG BAD BUFFALO BILLS! Mike Fartz is a terrible coach and i'm glad he made himself known nationwide as the no talent assclown that he is. With his stupid 5 wide formation on the goal line and transition glasses. This guy deserves all the credit that he gets for being the nfl's #1 assclown.
  19. Hey ice, enable cookies and log back in
  20. Oh those were a mix of coverage sacks and just speed sacks by the secondary. Milloy outworked his blockers on a couple of his sacks and the other guys just came in unblocked. Part of the reason for the lack of sacks by the D line was that they pushed bulger out of the pocket, which resulted in INTS or sacks by the secondary. If you're just looking at the boxscore, its very very misleading as to the play of the D line. I for one thought it was their best performance of the year. That hit by shobel, while he was dragging pace on faulk has to be the hit of the year, or in the top 3. watch primetime tonight for that spanking.
  21. While OP didn't play against MW, ala hasek vs. brian boucher, our defense ragdolled OP around the field, and MW played like a rock for the bills. For as "undersized" as shobel was, htat hit on faulk while he was being held by OP better make the top 10 tomorrow morning...
  22. Drew bledsoe was awesome today!!! Wow, all hail drew. Just kidding... Drew played well enough not to give the game away. He got extremely lucky on those 2 underthrown balls to cambell and evans, and played a solid game with the lead. Now hopefully he can take the game into his hands next week on the road. While i'm on a tear, fu evans on that willis TD run! That jump and stay in bounds was simply increadible. I'm glad to see that WM got pissed off too. Even if it was for one game its very nice to see that fire.
  23. That was to show the protection of the line... Also note, that on the play that they showed of bledsoe, he threw an interception. Of brady, he threw a 60 yard perfect completed pass. The media bias will continue to take a dump on the bills till the bills are the best, or close to the best. plain and simple. i miss the days of billy joe hobert. Those were fun!
  24. I'm not gay, and i own relentless... That is a damn good book.
  25. dude, the sabres swept them 10 years ago, and beat them in the ECS in 99... He hardly has bragging rights over you with hockey. But i'm with you. I hate pats fans more than any fans.
