Drew Bledsoe and the Philadelphia Eagles
Corp000085 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That does make a lot of sense... I just hope there is no drop off with going to JP... Bledsoe might be at 75, but he's a consistant 75... if jp goes around 95, but starts at 50, next year's a wash... if he can start at 75, then we have something... By the way, the numbers represent overall in madden... something to think about. -
Drew was very valuable to the Bills

Happy Birthday Jim + Hunter Kelly!!!
Corp000085 replied to SACKMARINO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Happy birthday to Jim, hunter, and yes, drew bledsoe. Hunter, i don't know what condition you're in now, but its a miracle that you're alive to this point. Congrats. -
god i remember that like it was yesterday... i can't believe he survived, let alone take a bow at the very next friggin home game... what a miracle.

hey doug, stop referring yourself in the third person. How's the band?

ah, the JP over drew debate! God i love TSW! By the way, i rank drew bledsoe as #6 all time, based on yardage.

ESPN Reports: Losman Starter in Buffalo..
Corp000085 replied to AirBledsoe11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i just hope your excuses don't stop when JP or anyone else is the QB of the bills... I'm going to remember that its never the QB's fault when drew was here. To keep your credibility here, you sure better keep those same excuses when drew leaves. As for the running game, we had a guy who was a GIMP running for over 1000 yards. Sure, he's a top 3 RB, which covered for his 85% leg, but truth be told, he still was a GIMP this year. Willis and the running game are top notch, and the line did open holes for him. trust me, its anything but the running game. That's one of the major strengths of this team. -

Bledsoe Is Telling His Fans that Air Bledsoe
Corp000085 replied to AirBledsoe11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://www.drewbledsoe.com/NEW_DBF/about/drew_comments.htm and that's why there's such a raging debate about this guy. If he didn't have his good attitude and personality, there'd be no question. Oh well. i'm glad he had 3 years of charity work here, even if he was up and down on the field. -
I still can't believe the Bills finished 1st
Corp000085 replied to nodnarb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not only that, but i think the bills might have finished #1 all time in takewaways over a 2 year period. -
this is a gem... i blew out the earpiece on my phone giving play by play to my friend in philly... I actually got the college tv tech guy to put a blank channel on cbc on the c-band dish, in french. great stuff http://web.archive.org/web/19990508195256/...cap/ottbuf.html

good lord... go back to the TBD and look at the first archived date. january 10, 1998... then look at the links at the bottom... its all marv retiring... That's depressing.

Wow, i really think that drew bledsoe is a terrible human being. Just think of the amount of emotional and physical damage he has done to undersided cornerbacks, safeties, linebackers, and defensive ends around the league? First this girl, now john abraham, teddy bruschi, and zach thomas. Man oh man. He really could have hurt someone doing his "stage diving", or as i call it, "the backfield flop". It's a nifty dance move though. He's the most prolific backfield flopper the bills have ever had, save rob johnson. I will truly miss that frozen grip on the ball, those pats of the ball, the glancing towards moulds, then moulds, then moulds, then moulds, then INSERT TIGHT END NAME HERE, then moulds, and the major freak dance he incurs with the victimized defender. Finally, i will miss forever his head bob of despiration and half assed chin strap removal technique he perfected after his nifty backfield flop maneuver. On a serious note, drew's a good guy. I do wish him well wherever he goes. He just couldn't get it done here and i'm glad its almost over. I'd hate for the bills and bledsoe to suffer another year.

Potential monday night football game
Corp000085 replied to SuperBills12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey, think of it this way, wasn't it the monday night game against the raiders that put the bills on everyone's radar during the first super bowl season? All it takes is one game to give everyone hope. I'm lookin for the first thursday game bills vs. pats, in foxboro. JP leads a COMEBACK victory. Losman to evans in the corner of the endzone, AND HE IS IN FOR THE TOUCHDOWN! DO YOU BELIEVE IT MURPH? UNBELIEVABLE. UNBELIEVABLE! JP LOSMAN HAS SILENCED THE CROWD! UNBILLIEVABLE! -

True Successors to the Class of '83 QBs
Corp000085 replied to Moose's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope you're right about the bills being first to find the true heir. I'm just so gun shy about completely cutting ties with bledsoe and putting JP in with the lions, because of the TC debacle and the whole RJ thing. If there was a year to do it though, it would be next year. The defense is so tough, and the special teams is truly special. Maybe that can override the first year errors of a QB. Plummer is a decent QB, but he's not the answer to elway. I think the bills could be looking good next year. When's the next WNYTBDGPS meeting? We need to hold like 45 in a row and force JP to attend. Maybe those plates will fatten him up. -
according to the smoking gun's mugshot, she's 5'11"... damn
-
I think its equally bad. It sucks to think that the bills were 0-4, but now that you look back, i think that most of us are proud of those teams. The eagles lost 3 straight at home. That's pathetic. I'm just rooting for the pats to lose a step next year. The bills string of 4 straight AFC championships hopefully won't ever be touched.

(OT) Mini-vans. Any advice on buying one?
Corp000085 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My mother has had a caravan/t&c for the past 15 years. She loves them. The clearance in the back is actually much greater than that of any SUV. Take out the seats and you have yourself a better cargo carrier than a suburban if you can believe it. Anyways, she currently has a 2002 chrysler town and country AWD. Of course, if you follow your life in the path of Chili Palmer, then you'd want the oldsmobile Silhouette It is, after all, the caddilac of minivans. -
Conspiracy theory - fixed game ?
Corp000085 replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the amount of money that could be LOST due to someone discovering a fix, and the amount of people that would have to be involved, its very very unlikely that this is the case. Maybe mcnabb is a completely different breed as kelly was. Maybe the coaches just screwed up badly with play calling? Maybe mcnabb didn't have the authority to throw out his headset and do some kelly improv. Who knows... I just know that mcnabb sucked, it reminded me of the bills in the super bowl, and after 15 years since the first one, i'm still waiting depressed. -

McNabb was very Kellyesque yesterday. Are you saying that our bills fixed their games, specifically XXVI and XXVIII? -

Drew Bledsoe's House Up For Sale??
Corp000085 replied to AirBledsoe11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's a funny story... When bledsoe signed with the bills, there was a buzz among the business community that he had worked a deal with my dad for my parents house (my dad is in the middle of the business community)... We never met the guy though, but it had gotten out to the spaulding lake area, including gregg williams, who brought it up to my mom while they were walking around. -

I went to the 2001 (marv) and 2002 (kelly) induction. I'll be going for all future bills inductions. I wish i posted regularly at TBD back then, so i could have hung out.... but i didn't. Went with other friends instead.
