  1. I don't know what it is... the cowboys suck, the seahawks suck, its monday night and i'm VERY tired. But i'm going to watch. I think its just so i can see drew either screw up or play great, cause parcells and drew both think he's the chosen one. I'm not a betting man, but i'll double down on screw up. It shall be interesting. On a side note, did anyone catch the drew piece on sportscenter this morning? he sure did sound pompous, but we all know he's the same old drew. patpatpatlookpatsack
  2. tough luck for eli... maybe if he was with the chargers, his elbow wouldn't be hurting now
  3. it was a penalty... that's like docking a kicker some accuracy % if he missed a kick and the defense was offsides. the guy he was going to throw it to was not open, and he was trying to make something happen with a free play (although not too well, but he still tried). no harm no foul.
  4. not as much as chris watson.
  5. I expect him to win the AFC playoffs... Every single year, i hope for 19-0 and a super bowl championship. There's no reason why he CAN'T do that yet. If trent dilfer can go to disney world as a caretaker, than jp losman can !@#$ the snot out of cinderella too!
  6. I'm hoping that the run blocking will simply improve as a function of time. Listen, in two games and a scrimmage, our pass protection is better than it was at any point last year. Run blocking will improve with more practice time and as the 5 starters gel together. Plus, willis was in for like a quarter, and the gameplanning was all over the place to evaluate talent. Yes, it is slightly concerning that willis didn't run for 6ypc, but they were able to convert 3rd downs, and gave up virtually no loss of yards plays. 2 rushing tds (i don't count the losman scramble, cause it was a broken down pass play). If they fall apart next weekend, then i'll be concerned, but unless we start losing to houston, tampa, and atlanta, i won't lose sleep over it.
  7. shades of the 1989 bickering bills. we're definitely billsfanone.
  8. i think they were experimenting with different things. I wouldn't put much too much stock in it. Yes, it's a little concerning that the pack was able to march down t he field, but it's not too bad in the big picture. I mean, after all, aaron shobel was in deep man to man coverage, with no safety help, with the guy that caought the TD pass... i don't really see that happening in the reg. season.
  9. RIP terrible news for that man's family and team. With that being said, i'm quite interested to hear what killed that guy. Based on the weather, you'd almost have to eliminate heat stroke... Again, RIP
  10. He was praying to his messiah: Drew Rosenhaus.
  11. his 4 ypc and 1 td was just an illusion to sell more tickets, even though he had his leg amputated at halftime in indy last week.
  12. its not a bad thing at all. he's got bruised ribs, which will hold him out of practice and the rest of the preseason, giving the other guys some more reps (i.e. lee evans as the #1 WR). Hopefully moulds and parrish will be ready for week 1
  13. hey take it or leave it... i'm planning on waiting in the basement and drinking coffee for the next 8 hours.
  14. well gee, i wish i could help... did you try to restart the computer?
  15. works for me... cajunbillsbacker, three guests, and myself are online awaiting...
  16. Was that anger to match my sarcasm, or just angry sarcasm?
  17. Here's the deal... If you stay up late enough to find out, i'll let you start a new thread, in all your glory, to report back the results!
  18. I'll be happier with losman if he's able to show some consistency during the rest of the preseason. Yeah, he put together a couple good drives last week, but he was largely off... I do have some good confidence that he'll be ready to roll on september 11th.
  19. That game was a gift from god.... A lot of things caused the events to happen as they did. However, my point is, if you don't have the personnel to run the prevent D, then don't do it! Also, if your'e going to the prevent D, don't go to it too early. As for the run and shoot causing the comeback?? Well, to an extent you have a point, but the bills put 14 on them before their offense even took the field. By then, the damage was done, even if the bills still had 24 more to go!
  20. nfl network has its no huddle show starting at 8, i believe. Also, the replay of tonight's game is on nfl network sometime latenight tonight, like 1am, or 3am.
  21. NC is one of the best CBs in the league. NC wants to be paid like the best CBs in the league. The bills have cap space NC will be paid like the best CB in the league The Bills will give NC a fat contract during this season. If you don't want to pay the best player money, then you're team will be the arizona cardinals. I prefer paying nate clements a lot of money to keep him here. TD won't overpay, but he will pay what NC is worth, which is A LOT of money.
  22. has he practiced at all this week?? I've not really kept track this week... very very busy at work. I'd say play him a series. get shaud all the work he can get.
  23. It must be a miracle or something... A missing black lady makes the front page of cnn.com, ending the time honored tradition of making only missing white people newsworthy. http://www.cnn.com http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/08/20/Philadelp...g.ap/index.html
  24. All signs lead to a deal being completed soon. He'll never see the open market, he'll be happy, and he'll be locked into a long term deal.
