What if ralph cares about winning? He can care about winning, making money, and saving face with TD by having TD do one thing... He can hire a GM to replace him, stay on as team president, continue to do the great marketing job that he's done, and let a real GM (i.e. ron wolf) evaluate talent. There's no way that ralph doesn't care about winning. The guy is pushing 90, on the hall of fame ballot, and in his lucid moments, cares about his legacy as well as his estate. He can do the right thing for himself, the HOF voters and for his daughters.

Today i give thanks to my family, friends, and to my situation in life. Also, i give thanks that the bills are still playing football. True, they aren't playing well, but it could be worse. Also, i don't believe the CBA states that teams have to actually play the players, just pay them.
