  1. I can... Thanks to sony vaio, d-link, and charmin.
  2. come playoff time we'll all be happy that he had a 3 week vacation in buffalo instead of a 3 week unpaid work assignment in the italian alps. as for the snub, i can deal.. the guy was hurt since october.
  3. I can't tell if my thread is great or full of retatta... i'll figure it out another day
  4. is ralph going to the jungle tomorrow?? usually when ralph goes on late season road trips, people don't make the return flight.
  5. sucks that he had to go out like this... i couldn't stand the guy cause he was tough, clutch, and didn't play for the bills. good luck, and hope there isn't permanent damage...
  6. well, you can trace my trail of drivel back to last weekend when i drove here... i'm out of my element. anyways, Merry Christmas cincy...
  7. he said that the coaching was not what it should be and he insinuated that there could be changes next year. I don't have an exact quote since it was a tv report that i watched half asleep, but the jist of it was that the coaching stinks and/or they won't all be back next year. It was not TO blunt, but it was there.
  8. yes. its very obvious. that winning streak was great while it lasted, but when their balls were to the wall, the team fell on its face. you had bledsoe pull his coin toss mutiny, lindell's missed field goal, that defensive performance... then in the offseason, nothing was done to improve the weaknesses that were shown for that game. This season started against a team that the bills should have beaten by 30.. instead it was one good drive. Before that pittsburgh game, the team was showing to be a tough team who could put up points. after, its been a weak p*ssy team. This season has shown that the past scapegoats of gregggggg, bledsoe, killdrive, etc. are just that: scapegoats... but yes, in short, the downfall began last year against pittsburgh and it has carried over till right now.
  9. seriously, you can't put that as the turning point... the turning point was the steelers game last year. the only big game that the organization has had in 4 years and they choke miserably. its been downhill since then.
  10. there's infinite reasons to blame norwood for the loss and there's an infinite number of other reasons. the fact is we lost the game... whether it was defensive execution, offensive playcalling, outside factors, or special teams, we lost. Personally, i don't blame norwood... it was a 50 yarder on crappy grass. yes, he's a kicker and he should make any kick that the coaches put him out to make, but he should have never been in a position to win the game by two points either. You can look at that as a lost opportunity or you can look at it as i do: as the perfect setup for the greatest super bowl celebration ever when we finally do win.
  11. This is my first week in WNY since the summer, so this is my first taste of the local TV slant to the bills. I was watching the channel 4 news last night and chris villarial was saying how they have to play the last two games for themselves and their future jobs... he then made a comment about how the coaching staff sucks and things will be different next year. My only comment to my father "how about you play for saturday, you fat slob". he gave an amen... This team sucks, their attitude sucks, and i hate that i love a team with such a losers mentality. My love of this team will never ever waver, but if villarial's attitude is a sample of the entire team, every last one of them needs to go... from the owner to the ball boy... two exceptions: brian moorman and ralph but only if ralph takes a huge stand at the end of the year (i'll accept nothing more than a public acknowledgement that TD was a failure, or a public bi+chslap to TD). after that he and his estate lawyers can hire someone who a) nows football and b) has a pair of balls. Never have i seen such a soft, heartless team and it makes me sick. With that said, lets see who actually cares on saturday... i'm not talking nate who's playing for a fat contract from some other dumb team... i'm talking about guys who play for themselves, the bills, and us fans. as for villariel, i'd have cut him 10 seconds after hearing that report... too bad my initials are SB and not TD
  12. i take great satisfaction in any nhl screwjob... not for the fact that it validates how badly the nhl was to us, but it just lets others feel our pain... with that said, the only screwjob on the magnitude of "No Goal" was the phantom goal, the forward lateral (not nhl, but still...), the montreal screwjob (again, not nhl, but it does involve bret the hitman hart), or that cup clinching goal that the flames scored two years ago in the game 6.
  13. while its hard to dispute the argument that riding flutie and the defense gives the bills a better chance than chancing johnson and riding the defense, in hindsight the bills were a mess that season. the defense sucked and the offense sucked before you even began talking QB. the difference between flutie or johnson is the difference between arguing which type of feces is better to plunge? is it really the TP overloaded diarreah toilet or the giant unbreakable log jam? in the end you're just dealing with a pile of sh--
  14. oh i remember that game... we were there and there was maybe like 2000 people in the stands. pretty surreal. I'd rate as my best memory the 1993 afc championship against the chiefs... it was a historic 4th conference win, and we all KNEW and could just feel that this was it... I felt that right through halftime of that game when we were up, and most definitely felt it after thurman fumbled away our championship. another memory was the game 4 of the 1999 ECQ in which the sabres swept the senators. At the beginning of that series, i called the TV guy for the campus and asked him to put on CBC on the "extra" channel... he said he'd do it but he didn't know how.. since i had a c-band dish i knew the coordinates and told him (E2-9 or something like that). he put it on and i was able to watch the sabres put together one of the most mismatched victories ever. The senators were HEAVY favorites and prognosticators were expecting yashin and the sens to put up huge numbers in a sweep or 5 game series against the offensively inept sabres. after all, all they had was hasek. Well, game 1 was a shutout i think with hasek stopping something like 50 shots. game 2 went to double ot (satan on a game winner, post goal snowman celebration). game 3 i can't remember but we won. game 4 we won, however here's where the memory starts. At mount union, i was alone in my love of hockey, but my best friend went to st. joes in philly... i called him at tjhe beginning of the game and did the play by play over the phone. by the end of the game, i had broken the phone speaker completely and i was unable to contact my family over the phone for the next month. oh yeah, yashin was held to ZERO points by mike peca.... You want to watch a set of games where one team physically dominates the other? watch that series. it was an absolute clinic, from top to bottom.
  15. it is yet to come... i think we can all agree that the bills will get destroyed against the bengals... however the hearless, gutless blowout against the jets coming up will be the worst loss of the season.
  16. you must be a bengals troll... lionel gates should get the start so we can see what he has for next year.
  17. regarding ottawa: The sabres need to do two things... one being to lock up a playoff spot, and two to just BEAT UP the sens 2-1 or 3-2 or something like that just once. Just a little flavor for the senators to show them that the big bad sabres are lurking. This is a playoff team and they need to make a statement to other playoff teams... Beating those choads last night did just that. Media attention or not, eastern conference teams FEAR the sabres.
  18. and that's why i love being a bills fan... for every eddie robinson, or nate playing tight man coverage 15 yards off the LOS, there's frank reich running off the field yelling thank you jesus with his hand in the air. That's enough for me to make it to april.
  19. i don't remember anything past halftime, but for different reasons...
  20. you always go for the extra yards, whether it will be 4th and 22 or 4th and 21. if you don't you're not a man.
  21. after a 12 hour drive with a stopover in the forgettable morganton, wv, i have made it to clarence and will be going to the game tonight! I'm sitting in a box off of the jim kelly club. It will be my first time in a box... my dad and i had season tickets in the lower bowl and jk club previously. anyone ever been in the club level boxes??? what shall i be expecting? anyhow, since this is an obvious LAMP, i'll end it on good terms by wishing all of you well tonight if you're going... GO BILLS
  22. the last special teams assistant to be promoted to head coach of the bills did all right... maybe he can hire that coach to be the assistant head coach/special teams coach.
  23. that was the reason they lost that series.. the team came out so so flat... they only had like 10 or 12 shots total.. terrible
  24. golisano is schmoozing with bill clinton. they're two of the 16000 that appears to be there.
