  1. there's no comparison... pittsburgh's got a good oragnization, ours has been in shambles... the more accurate comparison would be jp vs. cade mcnown.
  2. 14 years and 51 weeks to the day.
  3. you know, its taken me 15 years, but i now realize that norwood's kick wasn't all that bad! 47 yards in the grass for a SB win at night, 46 yards in a dome on turf for a tie in a divisional game? the only clutch thing about vanderjagt is that he's always going to be the token drunk.
  4. #7, and i'm not talking rothelisberger (or flutie, you jokesters!)
  5. one positive of listening to dan deirdorf: Gratuitous useage of the word "muff"
  6. ugh... pittsburgh has to punt
  7. the refs are hungover... They are all employees of the Jim Kelly for NY Governor campaign.
  8. god, i'm going to look like a tool after the giftwrapped comeback has been presented to the colts by the refs... wait, wait, goliath=bettis
  9. channel 207 baby!!
  10. is tom brady jealous yet? the manning/colts fellatio has begun!
  11. that gene simmons casanova lookalike is playing like a monster out there.
  12. that's the problem with a team like the steelers... I don't mind them. Except for the kordella stewart non TD, there's nothing to not like about the steelers. However, i hate those fans. they're so annoying. by the way, what a terrible call on that interception.
  13. I've heard of john elway. he won the big one. Ever heard of a guy named marino? couldn't even get to the big one.
  14. bettis is a good guy and a football legend. he's fun to watch.
  15. looks like chad kelly has a future in the nfl. Jim Kelly won the PPK as a kid.
  16. I wondered that too... maybe his family moved to the philly area, or maybe the eagles sponsored him
  17. i don't feel bad that willie parker blew up the bills last year. this guy is good
  18. this game is not over... end of the 3rd. 21-3 pittsburgh, but indy just completed a 4th down conversion, after peyton waved off the punt team that dungy was sending out. Could you imagine this board if JP or KH waved off mvp after MM put them on the field???
  19. hmmm, the afl, the afl-nfl merger, revenue sharing, 2 afl championships, 4 afc championships, 46 years in the same city, first guy to sell naming rights of the stadium, floating a loan to the pats and raiders so they wouldn't fold, etc. Listen, the guy has been in the nfl for 50 years and has been instrumental to building the game we see today. Age spots and painful press conferences at age 90 wouldn't sway my vote if i had one. The real truth is the guy has somehow been blackballed. He'll get into the HOF no more than one year after his death.
  20. sweet. do you have swayze on yahoo? in reference to the coaching tree thing, i just don't know. I simply cannot buy that all coaches under the bill walsh tree are great, all under cower suck, and all under levy... well, there aren't under levy. As long as TD isn't hirning the pittsburgh people, its all good. I think we all know what was the problem before, and it wasn't pittsburgh.
  21. i just cannot take you seriously with a Patrick Duffy avatar!
  22. why all the steeler hating?? do you know the postage on a signature requrired overnight package delivery of a steelers super bowl football to the house of tom donahoe? 14-3 after a 97 yard drive failed inside the 5 for the colts.
  23. this has been a good drive for the dolts... now maybe they can finish the job
  24. no flag on that radal el deep pass? indy is looking like the pats with their dirty play. As for the steelers, i mentioned before that i'd love for the steelers to go all the way, for the simple fact that it would really slap TD while he's down. Then, maybe, next year there'll be two former TD teams that have won the super bowl.
  25. there is a lot to be said about a guy who LOVES the bills and Buffalo, NY rather than a guy who has no ties. This is why marv will TRY to be the best GM he can be, and why hasslet (if hired, as predicted) will TRY to be the best coach he can be. There's a lot to disagree on, but i think we can all agree that the Saints weren't the best situation for any coach. I do not think we've seen the best of Hasslet's coaching abilities. Hell, Lombardi himself probably couldn't coach the saints to greatness.
