damn, i forgot about the conehead... Anyone remember the twister guy from the aud? He would sit either in the first row of the oranges, or the last row before the overhang to the oranges, across from the box seats (and they were box seats at the aud, literally...) He was a fat guy who'd just do the twist. I thought it was funny when i was 8.

Gas price rose 11 cents in the time it took

get a hybrid... it still drinks gas, but at least you get a tax break -
I agree with inkman. they were pretty decent, even giving us the "patriots treatment" towards the end of the game

I am getting annoying phone calls 5-10 times a day
Corp000085 replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've had some indian or hispanic guy call asking for surabi for the past 4 years. He did it every sunday at 8am for an entire year right after we moved here and got our phone number. Every single time i told him it was the wrong number. Then i got creative and asked him to hold on, then i put on porn really loud. Then i told him that he moved to hamilton, ontario. Bla bla bla... Finally, the calls stopped and i got one about once every six months or so. The last one i told him to change his friggin cell phone address book. He finally admitted to me that this was the number in his address book for the guy. he hasn't called since. -

Corp000085 replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no, he lost his credibility because he slants all bills reports as anti-ralph wilson. he needs to get over the fact that ralphy cut loose his butt buddy. whether or not he's right, you don't slant your journalism that much and retain your credibility. -
Sportscenter is focussing on the Bills and

rundown: -price returns to replace moulds (no, price comes to replace lee, who replaces moulds) -mort reports that the bills last were in the playoffs during the homerun throwup -mort reports that ralph wilson was overbearing on mike mularkey and was the reason why kelly holcomb started over jp last year. he also says that ralph should be in the hall of fame -kiper runs down some OL names. predicts them to pick one in round 1 or 2 -TJ wants the bills to pick a DT... brodrick bunkley (sp?) from florida end of the rundown basically, TJ and kiper believes the bills weakness is in the trenches so they think we'll pick up some good talent on both lines. Mort just ripped on ralph wilson. "ralph ran off polian, butler, TD, mularkey, bla bla bla", "marv levy is a hall of fame coach, but he won't be a hall of fame GM" Mort has lost all credibility due to his reporting on the bills. I will never respect his opinion on any nfl matter. My opinion on the bills draft piece: its nothing we don't already know... pick up the best linemen in the early rounds as you can. -
How Long Are You Willing to Wait
Corp000085 replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First of all, i'm not in a position to wait. I'm a bills fan if they go 0-16, 8-8, or 16-0. I'll wait forever. However, i'll be pleasantly suprised if they can at least get to 0.500 and/or make progress on the field. I can't grade the free agency period yet because its not over, and the draft piece is missing from the offseason puzzle. Marv's moves, while not spectacular or flashy, might be excellent moves if they pick up some decent linemen in the draft. With that said, there's no talent gap between the teams in the nfl. It's all about coaching, support, heart, and drive. I think that the bills have made changes to address those concerns, and the changes are for the positive. We still have 3 months till football, however, i've seen nothing that i've been dissapointed in yet. levy > td, jauron > mularkey/gray... its all good in the hood, till i'm proven wrong. -
"I'm the rooster of the walk baby! Now i've got a fever, and the only perscription is more cowbell!" as for marv looking great, i'll second that notion. It's a distance picture taken in poor lighting, but my god... the guy is 80 and he looks younger than tom donahoe in that one...

let the royalties commense.... I think that the seahawks have something like that going on with those end zone seats they have.

Ah, the coveted "Arm Chair General Manager" position must have already been filled. -
http://www.sabresreport.com/chat It's the same java based chat that's featured here at TBD, however, its better because we'll be talking about a playoff bound team destroying its enemy. Go Sabres!

Another teacher accused of having sex
Corp000085 replied to erynthered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, by the letter of the law, she was wrong... Morally, she was wrong. She banged a 19 year old SPECIAL ED student. Granted, you can be labelled special ed for having a heavy tongue or not being able to read large words, but he was a special ed student. Now, what will be the result of this? Worst case, she is conviced and has to appeal to eventually get the law to change to minor student instead of any student. She'll still lose her job. The law may change, but the district policy won't. God i love NC... That chick was in MY state! she could have worked at MY school! I'd have banged her. -
Is it legal for a landlord to search an apartment
Corp000085 replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing much to add here, but just to rehash, it seems like the landlord is doing nothing wrong here. The only thing i have question is with the fines and/or removal of the pet. Other than that, he gave his notice, just try to be at the apartment. Do what i did hwen i rented... Set up a webcam that has motion detection software. On a side note, here's my rental story: Last june we moved out, so as per the lease, we cleaned the apartment top to bottom or face the cleaning fee, which was deducted from the security depost. We paid $300 for our security deposit when we moved in. So, the apartment was spotless, top to bottom. Fridge was cleaned, you could eat off of the floors and drink from the toilet when i was done with that place. Last thing i did was turn off the breakers and shut off the water. Well, about a week later, i received a check for $325 and an invoice for our $400 security deposit and a $75 cleaning fee. I immediately put the check into the bank. Since the check was coming from the same bank that i used, it cleared next day so i called to inquire. Got no response back as to the charge or the mistake with the security deposit. I made $25 on the deal but i was still angry. Funny how stuff like that gets to people. -
well, i am the "itellectual"... Just seeing if you were on the ball.

Anyone catch the price on those things? $485 for 1/2 lb of wood. I could make the exact same thing with a 2" dowel rod, toothpick, handsaw, and some elmers glue. -
the bills are definitely not going anywhere
Corp000085 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
schumer also represents the largest current NFL market and their precious manhatten stadium. Moving the bills would not be in the best interest of the NFL. -
$15? Any chance the bills will sign rob johnson? I have a game worn jersey that i picked up for $20. It came complete with a tub of oxyclean for those stubborn grass stains.

zygi wilf sounds like he could be a bond villian. -
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2404058 well, hopefully its a 4 year deal worth $10 million plus incentives. 1 year for $10,000,000 plus incentives is a little steep, a day after ralph wilson cried poor.
