Yeah. Good luck filling the stadium, roof or not, in December, when nobody cares because the Bills are once again irrelevant coming out of November. Want to generate attention? Win.
I'm more of a pepsi guy myself.
But this is supposed to be something that is a pleasant distraction. All this team does is highlight the problems here. I hate to say it, I don't want to believe it, but it's a dying team, with a dying owner, in a dying city.
Football is supposed to be a pleasant distraction from the real world. My month has sucked hard. Bad breakup. College starts to suck after 5 years. Two rough weeks at work with less income than usual. Death of a relative. Even car trouble. All in the last two weeks. I could have used a win, not that the loss itself makes me feel any worse.
She always told me "I don't know why you waste your time and money on that crap. It's so stupid." Sitting in that stadium as people poured out around me, I felt like she was right. THAT is what sucks worst about today for me. Oh well, at least there's still bacon in my fridge.
If you really want to talk about this, look at last years record before Jackson went down. Then look at the games after that.
But the RBs aren't the problem. They're both above average, IMO.
See, that is just the point. Somehow, after years of terrible disappointment, Bills fans come back for more. As much as some say they are going to leave, they never do. They might grumble and complain, but they are always there.
