  1. Appetite loss.

  3. After watching some of his games on youtube (yes I realize that isn't "film") i, I'm not sure whether to be indifferent or underwhelmed. At first glance he seems to have solid speed and hops, but lacks size and physicality that a DB needs in this league.
  4. According to a friend, the pot he buys in medical dispensaries in Colorado is better than any of the crap you can get from a dealer out here.
  5. The tailgates are like the Thunderdome, if you added wings and replaced Tina Turner with a mustachioed out-of-work electrician from Tonawanda with a sleeveless “You Got The Reich One” t-shirt and a skinful of warm Labatt’s. Bingo.
  6. Isn't play A exactly what we were begging for last year?
  7. It also isn't a "normal" regular season game. It is the symbolic beginning of the entire NFL regular season. The league does it up because it is indeed, to paraphrase our vice pres, a big farking deal. If they rolled out a banner with images from that game, specifically manning getting picked off or that crazy td pass to jacoby jones, yeah, that would be problematic. But they are completely benign banners showing the players in even standing.
  8. Our opener isn't billed as a leaguewide event. The NFL wants this game to be comparable to the Super Bowl.
  9. Three questions: 1) Are the Broncos the only team playing in this game? 2) Do you think that there wont be any Ravens fans there? 3) Do these banner change, in any way, Broncos homefield advantage?
  10. Not at all. This is the NFL opener, a leaguewide event. It just so happens to be hosted in Denver. Also, it isn't like the NFL is bussing in Baltimore fans.
  11. I wonder how these people would feel about losing a home game every year to Cheyenne, Wyoming. I realize we lose that game because we suck and apparently can't sell out hte stadium in December, but this is an example of what happens at the other end of the success spectrum. This is a high profile game. IMO, the second biggest game of the year. If the Giants make it to the Superbowl this year, does the NFL have to ignore the opposing team when "decorating" MetLife?
  12. he said laffing, not raffing.
  13. Solid plan! If history is any indication, you'll miss the worst part of the game.
  14. Of course. Where else would you rather be?
  15. I love listening to Gus. His reaction on that tipped pass to Stokley against the Bengals was just something I will never get bored of.
  16. This. We have 3 decent RBs and a deep threat now, that opposing defenses should, in theory, have to account for. The days of seeing the pats put 9 men in the box should be behind us. I'm as worried about the run game as I am worried about my pet rock starving to death. Although, he did try to run away the other day...
