  1. The only other time I've seen sports spelled with a z is the song "We Like Sportz" by Lonely Island.
  2. My rules for jerseys: 1) Only buy jerseys at thrift stores. This solves a lot of the issues. A) I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on a shirt that won't get me laid. Obvious exception is a Kiko jersey, per deadspin. B) The player is probably retired, therefore older than me. C) It has to be a good player, for example I found a Tasker jersey at Goodwill one time. I paid three dollars for it. I don't mind paying homage to a guy who kept his nose clean and revolutionized the sport. If that seems "beta" so be it. Edit: I just realized that I own a Brian Moorman jersey that I wear sometimes. But that's kind of a joke...
  3. That makes 6 Bulls claimed by teams so far. Not bad. Mack (Oakland), Najja Johnson (Pittsburgh), B Oliver (Indy), Neutz Cincinnati), Carlson (Chicago), and Way (Buffalo).
  4. Oliver signed with the Colts.
  5. I'm sure his old teammate desean Jackson has some connections that could help with that.
  6. Yeah. Because if he becomes a free agent he gets scooped up by freaking Bill Belichick and he becomes an 8 time pro bowler.
  7. I can't find a link, but he's going to the Bears.
  8. The ravens already have a pretty strong rivalry with NE. I could get behind this.
  9. We need to draft somebody named Tank...
  10. I feel ya. Way fewer wtf moments the last two years when compared to the Nix era. It always felt like a game before. Whaley doesn't screw around.
  11. Yeah I thought the same thing. But he passed the Bills physical, so we'll see.
  12. How many pots have you smoken? I like this pick. He was arguably the BPA and filled a need.
  13. At least its something different.
  14. haha yes! I was half expecting s Peter pan link.
  15. You should come down to the Stoneyard in Brockport. 1280 is hosting and Shane Conlan is gonna be there. And me. I'll be there too.
  16. I'm not an NFL gm, so take this however you want. IMO, the draft isn't about skill alone, its about probability of hitting with your picks. Obviously skill evaluations help you try to determine if a player will be good, but they aren't absolute. You can't convince me that you have a better chance of hitting with the first pick than you do with a handful of picks in the first three rounds. No way.
