The jealousy of Bills fans is funny. The hoody is so much better than Marrone it isn't even funny.

I don't think there are any coaches in the NFL who look across the field and worry about how to deal with Marrone and his staff.

Grading the new front office thus far
Al Cowlings replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marrone definitely grades out to an F. He's lost out there, I bet he misses preparing for Rutgers and Temple. You get what you pay for in the NFL. Look what Kelly has done for the Eagles, he is an innovative coach. Marrone was said to be this no bs tough guy, that may work in the lower level college football, but not in the NFL. -
Ok but how do you suppose they can get a guy like Hardy to come. They already overpaid for Mario you can't have that much salary tied up on the DL. I doubt he would leave Carolina to come to Buffalo for similar money.

Official Playoff Possibilities Thread

Go Tampa! Just think if Tampa wins Sunday nobody has to be exposed to ridiculous threads like this anymore. -
Why isn't anyone talking about Stevie?
Al Cowlings replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
SJ is a joke. He is everything that is wrong with this franchise. Does anyone outside of Buffalo even know who he is? Not sure why he acts like a #1 NFL WR diva. he is a #3 on most teams. -
Not exactly a major synopsis of the game, but it comes expected with these posts. No mention of the horrific defense-other than Gilmore? Everyone's savior Kiko was awful. He over pursues and guesses on everything. Not a very bright guy, and that's who is calling the defense on the field? This coaching staff is a nightmare, but what do ypou expect when you are hiring a staff from Syracuse of all places. Can we stop fretting about Pettine getting a head coaching job? Take a look at Buffalo's rankings on team defense. Sure, they have a lot of sacks, because all he does is blitz. Gets burned quite a bit and they can't stop the run. But hey, they are 4-8 and playing meaningful December football, right?

Bills have $19M in cap space
Al Cowlings replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No trolling, just stating a fact-it should be a concern of the Bills FO. He has a chance to make some big $$ and there will be plenty of offers out there, especially considering the amount up snaps he has taken for Buffalo is a lot less than most people would expect. He would cdertainly be one of the bigger named Free Agents to come out. -

Maybe Spiller will get out of Buffalo and find another team for his big payday-a team that can actually win and use him right. -
Sorry-I refuse to use the present name of the stadium-the guy who is the worse owner in pro sports.

That's a pretty good summation. The trend seems that this crew of undesirables keeps growing every year. Its especially pathetic when they are picking on young kids wearing an opponent's jersey.

I'm guessing you have never been to Rich Stadium for a game. Go sit in the end zone for a game and then let's see if the word "classy" to describe Bills fans is still used.

Is Jim Kelly ill ?? (update - has cancer)
Al Cowlings replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please explain why people think that jim kelly's presence has anything to do with new owners buying the Bills and keeping them in WNY? If someone is willing to take the risk and buy the Bills and keep them in this small market its not going to have anything to do with Jim Kelly. SAeems like he is just interested in getting a position with the team like John Elway has with Denver. -

Frank Reich was a true role model and a man of God. While Kelly was out choking women in bars Reich was a great team mate and man. -

Your right, my bad. I totally forgot about his acting success in that movie Necessary Roughness. -

Pretty good gig at CBS-Kelly tried the analyst thing and got canned by ESPN. What does Sterling Sharpe have anything to do with my argument?? Again, I dont wish anything bad for the guy, just making the point that others have done much better after retirement. He's a borderline Hall of Famer that choked in the big game. Thanks, but why the hatred? Again, just posting my opinion, isn't that allowed? -

Huh? Miami? The only mention of anything to do with Miami was stating that Marino has enjoyed a lot more off the field success than Kelly. Are you really going to argue this? -

I hope the guy is OK, but please stop with the "he is the greatest" comments. If you were unlucky enough to run into "Jimbo" at a bar in his playing days you would realize how much of a jerk he was. His post career has been a complete mess. Take a look at the success of other past QBs that were his contemporaries. Obviously Marino and Elway had more brains than Jimbo. His whole ownership thing with the Bills is a complete joke. Hope the best for his health, but please just fade away and find something to do other than the Bills. Bruce Smith did it right-just go away. -
don't quit your day job.

Mario Williams: no love for
Al Cowlings replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A player the Bills cut last fall-Dwan Edwards had 6 sacks last season, to put a bit of perspective on this. What NFL player doesn't play with a "bum" something all season? The guy has a reputation as taking plays off and even games off. he took a boatload of money to play hard with "bum" wrists when that becomes an issue. Just because you bought his jersey or believed all the hype don't let that get in the way of reality. He was an underachiever last season.
