  1. I remember Ice losing his sh-- last year over this. Good times.
  2. If you are REALLY bored, can you do me a favor? 1) On the home and aways, get rid of the black sleeves, go with the main color throughout the shirt. 2) Put the thin-stripe trim around the shoulders back in, like the shirts have now. That is pretty unique. You can even make that shoulder trim black if you need to. Leave everything else as is. 3) On the alternate uni, get rid of the sleeve striping you have on them now, and replace it with the '60s style piping on the sleeves. Leave everything else as it is. Send this to me, if you can. I'll buy you a soda and a nice cookie for your efforts. I think the gray needs to go, too.
  3. I'm surprised that no one here thinks that Atlanta giving up a #1 for Peerless Price was considered one of the worst moves.
  4. There has been some threads here on the subject, and from what I gather after reading them, it appears to me that Bill Parcells is losing some of his luster there
  5. There is a reason, actually. The reason is simple, Tampa and Dallas are two teams heading downward, with high-profile head coaches who are not working out as planned. Buffalo, on the other hand, has an up-and-and-comer coach who is making aggressive moves, the kind of moves these teams were once known for. Tampa and Dallas are just trying to lash back by ripping on they type of young, up and coming team that they used to be, and still want people to think they are.
  6. The Huddle Report was fond of Ben R. too. But, it's posted on the internet, so people will take it as gospel, I guess.
  7. Thank you. This story can have it's own forum with the amount of times it has been cut and pasted.
  8. Sipowicz is going to lose his sh--.
  9. Only because the back actually chosen for the pro bowl in front of him backed out of the game. Linky
  10. Thank you.. Henry and Shelton are , in effect, the same player, with the same status, the same value, and they are both in the same situation. Henry has a Willis McGahee in front of him that will keep him off the field here in Buffalo. Shelton will not have someone keeping him off the field here. There will be a spot for him somehow, someway. Shelton has a Denny Green keeping him off the field in Arizona, Henry won't have that problem there (unless Marcel Shipp ends up being better). This trade works well for both teams, it's a rare player-for-player trade that can work.
  11. The Main Street location is still there, it closes at 8pm daily now. The Lyell Ave location is still open 24/7.
  12. Will you call yourself "Orchard Park Mike"?
  13. If you are in town Friday night, do this. 1) Dinner at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que downtown 2) Rochester Americans vs. Hamilton, Blue Cross Arena 3) Water Street Music Hall, downtown. There has to be some band playing there. (if you are here on Saturday, "Girls Gone Wild Rocks America" is happening there, have no idea what it's about, I just looked it up, sorry)
  14. There are too many people claiming insider information and everyone else is getting burned by it. It is also very difficult to confirm credibility, as well. Previous posts do not work, because people who just run crap up a flagpole, just to see it come through, end up being 'credible' that way. Example: I will tell you right now that Travis Henry is having an affair with David Hasselhoff, I cant divulge much more than that. They are tight lipped until its all sealed and delivered. Now, next week, if I pull out People Magazine, and see Travis and Hoff gaying each other on the front cover, then I just became credible, and people will be coming to me with all their NFL star/B-list actor scandal needs. And, as mentioned previously, people claiming insider information stating some vague, 5 minutes ago bit about Travis being shopped around, well, thats not really news and deserves to be flamed. Those are the two biggest problems, IMO. The only tried and true way to find credible sources is to find the people who know the people who are credible, like "Hammered Alot" He has contacts, he would know. There is no way to find these people than to just hang out here long enough and to learn a few things about the people here. Get involved in the community. If credible people are going to get 'run off', then I say the credible person never really cared about this place anyway, because you just have to know that if you try to post credible information and claim you are 'inside', there are going to be critics. If you really care about this place, you will stick around to get to know everyone, and your worth as an information source will eventually shine through.
  15. That's a pretty bush piece of journalism. DiCesare must be quite the crybaby.
  16. Good point. I see Henry and Shelton as pretty much the same person with the same situation, they just play different positions. The good thing is that Shelton will not have his version of a Willis McGahee in front of him here in Buffalo, as you can never have too many good OL on your team.
  17. Chloe's boyfriend was beat up by the terrorists, and rescued by Jack, but I was expecting Chloe to reappear at some point. Guess not now.
  18. Lazy. Fat. Yay. Lets hope that the guy writing this scouting report is Mike Florio Or, that Shelton was just not feeling it on a losing team, ala Corey Dillon.
  19. Happy birthday R. Rich! Sorry I missed it today, in Atlanta this week. You might be interested to hear that yesterday on AM 660 the FAN down here, I heard breaking news on "The Buck and Kincade(sp?)" show that the Buffalo Bills had just released Drew Brees. Seriously, not kidding.
  20. A !@#$ing men to that! I'll start a parade down my street then T-W gets onboard.
  21. He's actually right about alot of what he was saying, I just wish it was coming from somebody with a little more credibility and respect.
  22. "Livewire" ? He might as well have just scratched a chalkboard in front of me.
  23. Also, don't forget that the lifespan of a female ensign is inversely related to her chest measurement.
  24. I second that. He was a good read.
  25. Don Banks is pretty decent. Easterbrook mixes the NFL with pop culture the best. Jaworski is the best when it comes to the details. Details are important. The worst? Besides Mike Lupica? Lets see.... I would say Ron Borges (Boston). The master of saying nothing.
