Throw Back Uniforms to be worn this year

He was about to, until he spotted a "26-38" mark on the miracle baby's forehead. -
Reasons to be optimistic about the season
bobblehead replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's hard to navigate around all the show-offs who need to slam the the new QB at every opportunity, and I like what I'm hearing so far about JP... But... It's also very hard to predict anything until I see Buffalo actually win a football game with the new QB. -
Will JP be better than Drew?

He's got plenty of talent. I mean, jeepers creepers, he was balancing a bowling ball on his head last night! You can't buy entertainment like that. -
Something tells me that Roscoe Parrish will be wearing that number.

Throw Back Uniforms to be worn this year

Throwback uniforms that need "a little more tweaking" make me nervous. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? -
McFarland, Gandy, and Teague (via Tucker) will be given opportunities. There may also be a cap casualty coming in, as well.

I will bet you whatever amount you deem necessary that everyone who has run you over about this in every pointless thread is probably just as critical of Tom Donahoe as you are, but are rational enough to consider his successes and his worth to the franchise as well. Everyone here knows full well that Buffalo needs a playoff appearance or TD is most likely gone at the end of his contract. TD will tell you that himself. So why must you continue trying to tell us what we think of him, whether we think it or not? -

You're right, he couldn't. He provided two facts. -
As far as I'm concerned, TD had a playoff team

In fact, Mularkey admitted afterward that he should have challenged that call. -
Florio's punch has been (should be) pissed in...
bobblehead replied to Sound_n_Fury's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously, still having TH on the team is not good, and was not the plan. Also, Donahoe does have a history of saying things he probably wished he could take back in the heat of the moment. But.. I really have a problem with Florio's assessment. The poster who commented on the profane language of Florio's "sources", I believe, is on to something. I bet there is no "source". Donahoe is many things, but he's too smart to be the guy Florio paints him to be. And the poster who commented that Arizona is the one doing most of the backtracking is also on to something. I really don't see why Arizona is so upset, they had an excellent draft, and they can cut Shelton with not much of a hangover, so what's their problem? At the end of the day, though, There is still a whole off-season, pre-season, and regular season to trade Henry, and I guarantee that someone will need him by the time the season is over. -
Agree, Teague is the LT right now, but I really think there is another LT coming into camp. Walker or Shelton.

[sarcasm] I heard somewhere that Bo plays in a band, is this true? [/sarcasm] Ok, Ok. I'll talk about the show. After the pimp trance last week, it's very difficult to gather enough information to even talk about this on a weekly basis. I will say that my dog actually howled this week. No sh--. Simon should win, he is the only one who is consistent and excellent every week. So the country girl came out first, after 5 minutes of her petting a ferret. I wanted to remind her that PETA is full of liberals, and that would ruin her cred with her base. Still, once it was showtime, what I would have liked to have seen was for her to come out with a big-assed boom box, stand there in the middle of the stage, press the play button, just to hear a tape of her singing the song, while she just stood there, holding the boom box, but moving slightly to her dope-ass beats. Simon said it doesn't matter what he thought. I wanted to jump through the TV and give him money. Spot on, sir. Next, Mimi Bolton. Reminded me of the scene during the Drew Carey show when Joe Walsh made a cameo. Anywhoo, in his scene, he looked at Mimi and said "I thought I was the only person here that saw you". Sounded like ass, but Randy made sure to tell me what rock music really is. Thank you, Randy. Was it the girl, or the singing Rutger Hauer-as-a-kid lookalike (if Rutger Hauer was a kitty) / lite rock hits crossbreed that was next? Not sure, the show kinda goes flat then. But the girl's two brothers were the stars of the night. Those two guys were absolutely the best performance of the night, especially the one who was sleeping standing up. Those two made me want to root for her, but her whole scene is so boring! Rocker/B looked like he shaved and took a shower, which was refreshing, but Nickelback sucks. I remember the MTV Cribs' episode with Nickelback. The Nickelback guy looks like Tom Green and he is the most smug, materialistic dude going. He was all about his cars and his home-built recording studio, but then again, it was MTV Cribs, yo. Still that episode was better than Rocker/B's singing tonight. Even so, he is still way more interesting than anybody else left. Then, Simon pulled the rug out on the whole empire that is 19e Entertainment by waking everyone out of their American Idol cult-like trance by telling us that going on the show was the equivilent of crossing over to the dark side. I pictured millions of households across America, with millions of people, holding the cup of poisoned Kool-Aid, snapping out of the trance, seeing the cup of Kool-Aid, wondering what is going on, then turning off the TV and continuing on with their lives. The trailer park dude brought up the rear. No pun intended. Simon made a risky move by telling him to pack his suitcase. This guy has to win, because I'm not scared of him losing, or watching him leave, but rather what he does next. -

I'm calling their bluff on the Peters thing. The starting LT is either Teague, a backup like like McFarland or Gandy, or someone else's cap cut who is not on the team yet. -

I can not find anything on any of the internets on him, did he get picked up after the draft? Did he get sucked through a vortex? Any news is greatly appreciated

That was the most excruciating hour of ass yet to be excruciated. I felt like Simon punched me in the face near the end when he said that going on the show was akin to crossing over to the dark side. It was like being awakened from a trance and wondering what I have been doing all these weeks watching this. I felt used. But Mimi looked hilarious. I'm not buying her line about the $6.00 glasses, though. 1) they were not $6.00 and 2) she did not buy them. -
That was a clear analysis. As far as DT goes, The plan is, and has been, to start Tim Anderson or Ron Edwards. I doubt that Buffalo either targeted, or thought they could, change that in this year's draft. As far as LT goes, This is the one position on the team that does not have a definate answer, but the draft was not going to address that, either. At 8:00 Saturday night, there was no one on the board, available, that was going to start at Left Tackle this year. So, to answer your first point, I think the 3rd WR is the only starting postion on the team that could have been filled with this year's draft by the time Buffalo made thier first pick. And trading up is not something that you can just do at a snap of a finger, either.

this is a flat-out lie by donohoe
bobblehead replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get why people are so worked up about this. Donahoe has been very consistent all along. He is not going to trade Henry without what he considers fair value. After the draft ended, and posts ad nauseam about this, this is exactly what Donahoe did. How did he lie? The only question is what you consider fair value v. what Donahoe considers fair value. People are saying Donahoe waited too long. There is still mini camp, training camp, pre-season and regular season games to make this trade, before Henry's contract is up. Sometime before the end of the season, someone is going to need a RB. Someone always has and someone always will. At that time, someone will make a decent trade offer. Why is this a problem? -

I stopped there. i'm just a hack in a cube farm, and I even find this statement stupefying. Trading up is this simple, no effort excercise that any team can do at any time? -
I liked how the terrorist at the end was acting like a robot, Terminator style, trying to kill Chloe. I was hoping for the neighbor to put a beat down on him, that would have been good TV.
