  1. That's the thing, it sounds like he had some bad coordinators there, so he could very well bring in someone different, who runs the game more flashy. I'm just saying it seems against the history for Jauron to bring in someone like Caldwell. What also would be odd would be for Jauron to bring in someone line Heimerdinger, who, allegedly, is an "ass" who alienates his players. I could be wrong about this, but since Jauron is the type that apparently players want to play for, bringing in someone like Heimerdinger, who players apparently do not want to play for, seems contradictory.
  2. Would you rather I just breath out of my mouth and make 100+ posts about how bad he sucks, the that the team is going to move? I thought I was being rational, sorry.
  3. I would say that trading has more to do with salesmanship and networking than analytical skill.
  4. Well, that post was more about an agenda than anything, but creating a great QB does not fit Jauron's MO. He's more the play with what you got type. I feel the only way JP gets a real shot is if a Caldwell-type OC comes in, with a history of working with pass-heavy offenses. Having said that, I also don't see Caldwell as the Jauron-type, either.
  5. I would think that if anyone wanted to trade up, they would want to be further up than Buffalo. I'm concerned about Levy/Modrak being able to make complicated deals, too. Just because I haven't seen them do one together yet. Having said that, I do not think this is the year for a complicated deal, anyway, if Buffalo does anything, it should involve getting more picks, not giving away any.
  6. Um.. well, I think I should hide.
  7. I don't know about that, I don't want our 1st rd. pick being traded for something behind a curtain.
  8. My people tell me that it was Andrew Harris that bought the place. No more Cowboys swag, either.
  9. I think the Bills should wear Carhartt uniforms. That would be tough as sh--.
  10. Other than the lack of season-ticket sell-outs for years in advance like other cities have, I would say that Buffalo is doing quite well comparatively with the rest of the league. I'm quite confident that the bag heads will have squat for say in the matter.
  11. ...and people who try to answer these posts seriously, with names of cities, too.
  12. Unless, unless that Sherman story was right, and Ralph was ready to pay him what he wanted, then I could see Ralph deciding to use that money on Bates, since Jauron is not going to command as much as Sherman needed. My only questions are: 1) whether or not Bates is on Jauron's radar. and 2) were the Caldwell and Lofton interviews really for coordinator positions, and just "officially" head coaching interviews?
  13. I simply means that whoever read your note at OBD realized right away that you were a flip flopper, so you got the standard response.
  14. Jauron has funky looking bifocals. That's good enough for me. I'm going to buy one of those freakishly large foam hands with the pointy finger pointed upward.
  15. Hard to even discuss this when we have the worst offensive line in the league.
  16. I had come to the conclusion that Hogboy was never going to top his "cigarette smokers are murderers" bit.........
  17. I can report back on this, too.
  18. Actually, I'm checking my sources now on this entire matter, will report.
  19. Any idea who's going to buy the joint now?
  20. I got a call at 11pm the night before from a friend asking if I wanted to go and use the extra ticket they had. I was not trying to get tickets at the time, either. I had settled long before on the fact that you had to know someone to get into that gig. I knew right then that I had hit the friggin jackpot of all jackpots.
  21. We do?
  22. 1) Use the white jersey numbers on the throwback blue - only in a white\red combo, Like Buffalo used before 2001. Yes, those numbers are different then the ones used on the throwbacks last year, the white away numbers are much thicker. 2) Make a throwback white jersey, red stripes on the sleeve like 1974 or blue striping like 1963-1973 3) Use the current white jersey numbers on the throwback white. 4) Make the current home jersey an alternate jersey, just get rid of the stupid fugly red stripe down the sides. Add striping like the throwbacks if you have to. 5) Red helmet, charging buffalo - only with the stripes the way they were before 2001, before the helmet was turned into a freaking rainbow.
  23. I'm not ready for this freak show again, although I was peeved that the Statue of Liberty guy was not given a full read. He kept it real, unlike the hillbilly Michael Bolton guy last year, who wore leather pants.
