I feel dirty when he pops up on my TV. Like I should be calling the Better Business Bureau to report them on abuse of child labor laws. Seriously, kids in sweatshops in Malaysia are not exploited as much as this sock puppet. I do have to quit watching this show, it's putting the freaking zap to my head. Now I find myself equating smashed potatoes with snaggleteeth. Thanks AI.

Recap: nobody knows WHEN the FA deadline is...
bobblehead replied to Lori's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't get that, either. How does the league's salary cap situation equate to "we suck" ? I'd say Buffalo is in a rather neutral situation compared to the rest of the league as far as any ramifications that could happen to each team. Also, to get back on message. It's after noon, so those rumors of "200 players being cut" need to start getting confirmed pretty soon.... -
Wow! 200 Players could be released today???

Kinda running out of time today for those 200 players to get cut, tho. -

1) Canada wears the horizontal socks, too. 2) I'm a bit worried about next year, too. Olympic Ice Hockey is wearing Nike this year, so Reebok next year may be ok, sock wise. Still, some schmuck at Nike may be seeing these socks in the Olympics, thinking this is some wave of the future thing and may be switching all the new uniforms over as we speak. EEEEK!

That was ICE. He went totally mustang at 12:30am a few years ago. The year after Buffalo took Jeff Posey within 15 minutes of the start of FA. ICE expected similar results every year. Wait, no, he DEMANDED similar results every year DAMMIT you FUGGIN ASSCLOWNS! I miss ICE. The board definately lost something when he bailed out.

I have been a registered Republican since I could legally vote, but since then I have come to learn that I am against torture, Skoal and shooting people in the face, so now I'm considered a liberal. I'm not allowed to be either these, sorry. -
That f-er let a whole mall get nerve-gassed.

Cheney shoots hunter.....accidently
bobblehead replied to Thailog80's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not sure what you are getting at... that you can spin shooting a guy in the face? I hope I'm reading you wrong. Initial reports from Scott McClellan indicated that Whittington was in the wrong spot. Sorry, but from what I learned in hunter safety courses, both gun and bow, the victim is primarily at fault when: 1) he shoots himself Line of fire is one thing, but the bottom line rests on the guy with the weapon. I don't see the ignorance in pointing that out, or in the NRA having an issue with a hunting victim being blamed. The Chappaquddick thing: ok, that was snarky, but that is in response to how eager people on the right are to defend this. Someone was shot in the face, how anyone can defend the shooter is beyond me. Sorry, but political leanings should not take precedent. I'm sure you have a response, and I'm sure it's quite reasoned, but the bottom line is someone shot someone in the face, and that is just wrong. Period. Still, after all of that, I don't believe gun control is an issue, gun safety is. And the cover-up? Well, sorry, but that's what governments do - cover up mistakes. The next gov will do the same thing. The point I was trying to make is that the way these people live can not be imagined by most of society, and the things they can get away with is shocking. I don't see ignorance in what I said, sorry. -

This article is claiming that it was from 30 yards, and that Whittington still has up to 200 pellets still inside him. Not inferring anything, wasn't there. I only know a few things: 1) Quail is nasty. Partridge, now that's eatin'. You can hit a dude partridge hunting, though. They fly low, man. Be careful. 2) I would think the NRA would be a bit upset about all of this. It's pretty hard to spin shooting a guy in the face while hunting. Not a good light on the hunting public. 3) This kinda closes the gap on the Chappaquiddick thing, not fully, but close. 4) I'm not sure the story here is the cover-up, or gun control, but rather the life of jaw-dropping privledge and decadence that our leaders live in. Has anyone ever been to one of these private ranches? Un-fugging believable swag there. Not sure it's what the rest of us think of when we think about hunting. -
Metro markets support of pro sports
bobblehead replied to BuffaloBud's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are several cities on the overcrowded list that seem peculiar, regarding metro areas close by, but rankings like this are always flawed, somehow. I'm also not sure how the "new NHL" as it's structured after the lockout affects the methodology. I'm guessing that the overall hit on the area income is less now. This might make Buffalo's numbers a bit better. I really have no idea, just guestimating. Also, the #7 for Rochester means little - MLS needs owners with enough jack to handle the cash calls that MLS needs every year to offset the huge rental fees they pay on some of their stadiums (i.e. Meadowlands). DuRoss pulled a miracle gettin PTP built, but he's no billionairre. MLS is single-entity. All owners pitch in to run the league, teams are not run (and do not profit or lose) independently. And there are no huge TV deals that the teams share. I believe MLS pays ABC for the games they do show (someone, anyone, am I right on this?) Once the MLS stadium in Harrison (NJ) for the Metrostars, and others are built and running, MLS will be relieved of their huge rental fees and will be in better shape to take on teams with less then insanely rich ownership, like Rochester. -
I know, I see alot of erasers being chucked at at the heads of sleeping players in meetings. Still, based only on what I have read of course, people seem to want to play for him.

Have you noticed how hard it is to find anything of substance on the Vince Foster issue? Talk about swept under the rug, damn. You would think, even years later, that there would be alot out there on this. Of course maybe I just don't know where to look
