  1. Agreed. From what I hear they weren't all that interested in Frasier. But I have also heard they were very impressed with the interview. While some dislike the Rooney rule, it gives guys who wouldn't normally get interviews some experience and also gives some guys a chance to impress potential employers. Even if the Bills don't hire him, a good interview will serve him well in the future.
  2. If they don't sign Cowher, it is likely they are going to interview Frasier, Harbaugh and Ron Rivera before making a decision.
  3. There is a difference between a band with a small audience and one that becomes quite popular. The REAL test of integrity, IMO, is when a band that does its own thing becomes popular and continues to do their own thing instead of chasing the dollar. That is extremely rare in popular music (or anything in pop culture). Typically, a band that finds popularity in its early years, begins to sell out and suck after becoming popular. It's very easy to stay true to your roots when nobody is offering you $$$ to do otherwise.
  4. I think I am better off for having missed it.
  5. A horrible band sells out! Wow, that's so unusual.
  6. Which begs the question, "Where are The Senator's posts touting the hiring of the disgraced Mike Leach?" Surely he would provide interesting press conferences, as well as creative punishment for players out of favor.
  7. Clearly he is a bot.
  8. Great news, Pooj. Best of luck to you.
  9. And some wonder why I rarely post on the football forum anymore. That is a perfect example.
  10. Why does that sound odd to you? If the negotiations are in the initial process, why would the Bills suspend their process? That makes no sense whatsoever. Until Cower says "NO", they are "in negotiations". But until he says "Yes" they still need a coach.
  11. I appreciate your support. But this is simply trash talking among old friends and foes. Seriously, there is nothing you need to be concerned about here. But thanks for the effort.
  12. Despite SDS's claim, I still have the van. It is parked by the river (it doesn't run), and happens to be under a bridge. I do my best as the troll of the bridge to scrape together what I can to make a living.
  13. Sometimes, when the atmospheric conditions are just right.
  14. Whether or not this is true may be dependent on your definition of "in contract negotiations". From what I am hearing, the Bills are definitely still pursuing/talking to Cowher and he remains #1 on their list of candidates. Even while Buddy and Russ travel to Minneapolis, then Stanford (then San Diego?) to interview candidates, they are still actively pursuing Cowher. Since he has yet to say "No", I guess one might consider that "contract negotiations". Of course, it is also possible things are further along than anyone is admitting, but that's too much to hope for I fear.
  15. Don't forget, if Cower goes to Carolina you have to add John Fox to the coaching mix.
  16. A client of mine gave me Touchdown Club tickets and a parking pass. Unfortunately, jplosman, I am using them.
  17. Mama's on the bottom Daddy's on the top Sister's in the corner yelling "Stick it to her, Pop!" -John Valby
  18. I have been observing from afar.
  19. Is that a question?
  20. What's all this now?
  21. Sums it up pretty well. I had to laugh when they showed the infraction on the replay. WTF was that move? Last year it was Fowler snapping to nobody (Trent was in the shotgun), and now this.
  22. Outstanding! That's certainly one way to go. Dude
  23. I hadn't seen that World Trade Center Schimmel until now. Very unusual. I really dig the Otmar Alt, though Schimmel really is doing some bizarre things with the piano. I guess if they sound great, it is a good thing. This article has some more pics of some of those same Shimmels and some of the unusual Bosendorfer: http://ifitshipitshere.blogspot.com/2008/0...-your-eyes.html Bosendorfer's new design with Audi is unusual: http://ifitshipitshere.blogspot.com/2009/0...chord-with.html And of course, there is this thing: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zqFoq3qej2c/SlYY.../Picture+53.png Now, get back to practicing and maybe you can play your way to the Bosendorfer or the Fazioli.
