Sometimes a System Restore will solve the symptoms, but it rarely gets to the root of the problem. Even if you get some immediate relief from a Restore, you should still check to see if you are free of any infected files.

Poor Mrs. Chef. Contrats to the both of you. Have a great long weekend.

It's tough in SF (or at least it was) to hit an In-N-Out unless you plan a little. As you note, they are not ubiquitous. There is one near Fisherman's Wharf, I think. I think I went there once or twice. -
Only if/when you got caught, I imagine.

If it turns out to be a huge hassle to fix, you may want to try one of these shower heads: http://www.takeashower.com/heads.php?id=spa http://www.highpressureshowerheads.com/ And you could try something like this in the toilet: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002IYHSRE/?tag=r...photograpag1-20 or this: http://www.amazon.com/Sloan-Toilet-Tank-Fl...e/dp/B00068YBL0

I think In-N-Out also cooks the burgers fresh to your order (they used to anyway, I think), but the process is quicker than at 5 Guys...usually. I have waited quite a while in an In-N-Out drive thru more than once, though. -
This is relatively useless-to-fairly dangerous to give to someone not very familiar with using HijackThis. Before you start messing wtih HijackThis (a terrific tool, to be sure), you should start with more basic scanning tools. Get your hands on these two scanners (free version is fine) then install, update and run "full scans". Remove anything they find. They use a quarantine and the chance you will do any damage to your computer by removing the wrong thing is close to nil: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-...&tag=button If your computer can't go to these sites, then use another computer and download the installer to a flash drive and install off of that. Then it depends on what they find. If they find just a few minor issues, you may want to go do an online scan, here: http://www.eset.com/online-scanner After that, if you want to run HijackThis, your best bet is to post the log in a forum like this one, and wait for help from an expert. If on the other hand, the scanners find a rash of infections including RootKits, then you may want to consider backing up all your stuff, reformatting and reinstalling...unless you know a very good expert in cleaning infections. Of course, there is always a chance or reinfection after restoring your data to a reformatted computer, if you stored the bad file on the hard drive. Some infections come disguised as .pdf, .wav, .mp3, etc files. So if you are the kind of person that backs up all .pdf files you may restore a bad file. That risk is increased if you use P2P file sharing, IMO. If you are adamant about trying to interpret the HijackThis results yourself, upload your HijackThis log here and follow their advice for what should be removed. But read everything carefully.

A friend of mine who took the trip recently said most ships only go partway through. But you can take a day excursion all the way through (and bus back to meet the ship). He definitely went in the daytime and said it, and the Alaska cruise, were the best cruises he ever took. (And this guy takes a LOT of cruises.)

BTW, PF, dunno if you are looking to buy the boy a desktop, but if you are it's tough to beat this deal: http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/con...td3ys&s=bsd $399 for a whole lot of computer. Sale is today only, though.

Since I have no kids, I have no first hand experience with any of these products. But I thought I might try to give you SOME help since the other responses don't seem to want to give you the kind of info you asked for. Some recommendations from a decent review site with no stake in any of the products: http://www.consumersearch.com/parental-control-software Some advice from PC World: http://www.pcworld.com/article/165522/keep...slefree_pc.html http://www.pcworld.com/article/167514/most...s_for_kids.html A couple of sites that give an overview of many competing options: http://www.safefamilies.org/SoftwareTools.php http://www.parentalsoftware.org/ And, for what it's worth, I have heard pretty good things about this one (it may be targeted at younger children, though): http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ Good luck!

Cartoon Network occasionally shows The Room (unfortunately they edit the nudity). It's a real stinker that has achieved cult status.

I really don't consider 5 Guys a "fast food" joint, as there is no drive-thru and you have to actually go in and wait for your burger to be cooked fresh. Of course, that makes the burger very good, but it's a different experience than In-N-Out, IMO. Both have good burgers and great fries, of course. While I don't eat much "fast food", I would probably get more use out of an In-N-Out than I do 5 Guys, if I had one close. I don't know if they still do it, but In-N-Out used to put your take out food in a nice box/tray. That made eating it in the car much easier. 5 Guys just puts everything in a bag and I get grease all over everything. If I'm going to park, go in and sit at a table while I wait for my food. I prefer to go to a place where I can get an adult beverage. I hear there are some 5 Guys that serve alcohol, but not the one down here. I know of some places with good burgers and fresh fries AND I can get a drink or a beer. That's my preference. -
RIP Art.

I just watched the trailer, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wmTv2nqTHo I agree it's a creative concept for a horror flick. I'd watch this late at night with a buzz on. Now, if you want painful, have you seen The Dentist? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zc5q4mnqIJw Corbin Bernsen in the lead role. How's THAT for scary?

Honestly, I never saw it. I was just making a funny.

I guessed the ending right at the start.

North Dallas Forty and Raging Bull. Bull Durham was good, too. Slapshot was OK, too. Cadyshack was funny, but not really a sports movie, IMO. Rocky was tolerable I suppose, but the subsequent 60 crappy sequels make it no longer watchable for me. You can have sentimental claptrap like Field of Dreams and The Natural, They are not for me.

Bills Just Sent Me a Travel Mug.....
The Dean replied to cåblelady's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or for your idea of an autographed pic: 1. Print a picture of a player from the Internet 2. Sign it with his name 3. Enjoy your signed picture. I'd take the mug. I have never understood the appeal of the autograph and I have no interest in having a picture of a player or even having my picture taken with a player. I guess you could put it on eBay, but I would just throw it in a drawer and lose it. -
Bills would vote against NY Super Bowl
The Dean replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure. Why not? I'd love to see a Mud Bowl, a Snow Bowl and whatever else nature might throw into the mix. It's FOOTBALL! It should be played outside in the elements. -
Until I saw who posted it, I thought it might be another talentless punk rock icon from some obscure band.
