  1. I do almost everyday!! The panelist they have like Solomon Wilcotts, Sterling Sharpe, Glen Parker, Terrell Davis, Lincoln Kennedy, Rich Eisen, are far superior to the idiots on ESPN. Salisbury and Golic, man I those guys are idots. sorry
  2. It'll affect them, but not too bad. It depends on who their assistants are and who weis has groomed to replace himself. also depends on who goes with weis to ND.
  3. am I missing something here? is there some reason that our team, in the midst of a playoff push, is not selling out its second to last home game of the year? If I was still in town I would be there in a second. you have got to be kidding me Buffalo!! How can this be? I know it's cleveland but come on!!
  4. I'm actually fine with it because nobody is really giving us attention right now. yea we have some people talking, but it's more like, "wow the bills are 6-6, ok big deal". I hope nobody knows about this team because when we make the playoffs, and "upset" san diego or indy in the first round, we'll all be laughing!
  5. From what I know, a general discharge isn't the worst thing in the world, but it's also not the best. I was active duty air force for 4 years, did my time honorable and got out with all the benefits, GI Bill, VA home loan, etc. I know at least one guy who did his time in, but was kicked out after 2 years. everytime I ask him about why he got kicked out, he tells me another stupid story. I know it had something to do with him hanging around with a bunch of cocaine freaks or something. somehow he managed to work it into a general discharge because he was lucky he didnt get an article 15. now he has a home which he paid way too much for and a bogus education from ITT which he paid too much for and he works for his dad's insurance company. but he's such a jackass that he think getting kicked out was a good thing. anyway, my current job is a Military admissions counselor for the University of Phoenix. So not only did I use my military experience to land a good job out here in arizona, but I now will have my school paid for my y job plus being able to collect the Gi BIll on top of it. I speak with military people from all over the place everyday. the ones who i feel bad for are those guys who got out early and have no benefits. they have no way of paying for school, are usually working some stevestojantty job, and live with their parents. hey, I know I joined the military to get away from that, and eventually it paid off. so my point I guess is that people who get general discharges lose out on a lot of benefits, but it doesnt totally screw em. but why join the military and not take advantage of the benefits.
  6. Does anyone know the lyrics to this song? I'm not talking about the Shout song, I mean th Bills victory song. The one that WGR has the tape of Marv Levy singing from like the early 90s. Does anyone have a recording of this song?
  7. This was written saturday but is a very good layout of the Bills playoffs chances. A must read! http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cita...tadel&type=lgns
  8. It is interesting actually. But it really doesnt help us too much if the Pats win, cept next week. We do need the Pats to beat the Bengals, then of course, we need to beat the Bengals. We are in good shape.
  9. alright!!!!!!!!!!! WAY TO GO STEELERS!!! EVERYTHING IS STARTING TO COME TOGETHER FOR THE BILLS!!
  10. yea well we already made our investment.
  11. yea well we already made our investment.
  12. Ok, everyone I talked to agrees with me that the Chargers should resign Brees, or Tag him, and trade Rivers. Looking at all the Bottom dwelling teams in the league, and even a few others, there are a bunch of teams who could use a QB, and would probably give up a #1 pick for Rivers. Keep in mind the Chargers have an additional #1 they got in the Mannings-Rivers trade from the Giants. IMO, I think teams like the 49ers, Dolphins, Browns, Saints, could use a guy like young guy like Rivers. While teams like the Titans, Packers, Chiefs, Raiders, could use him to replace their current starters in a year or two. Any thoughts?
  13. Yea a I think it was 2 years after the 49ers won their last super bowl with Montana, they were 10-6 and missed the playoffs. I remember they lost the NFC title game to the giants, then missed the playoffs year after. Hey 10-6 would be a good record for the Bills, and from looking at the schedules of the Jags, Ravens and Broncos, they could all go 9-7. We lost to Balt and Jacksonville, so obviously we need to finish with a better record than them.
  14. yea they really didnt spend that much time on the bills tonight. there was a lot of action in the game and it wasnt the high profile game of the week either. but u can tell from TJ and Boomer talking their getting a lot more respect around the league.
  15. Ok so you just had to get technical on me huh?!!! I know the 8 points would result in a tie in three games. The oakland game was ours, look at Travis's lost TD. The Jacksonville game was ours until the final play. The NYJ game was ours at the end until the field goal. Great teams win close games, all the time, look at New England. I think evryone understands the point though. I would just like to mention how I enjoy posting posts that make u think a little bit instead of the constant Bills bashing mind numbiness we constantly see on this board. Thank you.
  16. Looking at the conference standing and then thinking about three of our losses, just shows you how close this league can be, if we needeed any further evidence. We lost our first 2 games by a total of 6 points, and lost to the Jets the first time by 2 points. If we had won those three games, which we could've and should've, then we would be in thrid place in the conference standings right now. Thats a jump of 9 spots in the conference standings past NYJ, SD, DEN, JACK, BALT, IND, HOU, KC, TEN. Thoser 8 points could end up costings us a shot at the playoffs. Let's wait and see.
  17. Since he was on the active 53 man roster for the last half of the 2003 season, then he's not eligible for ROTY. If he was on injured reserve then he might have been eligible. Hey could he win comeback player of the year? He came back from what should have been a career ending injury.
  18. By far the best performance of the year! Willis has made an imediate impact and I have to say, Drew played maybe his best game since week 2 of last year vs. Jacksonville. This is what we've heard all year long, the offense just need to play smart, no turnovers, control the clock and let the defense win the game. Other than the Moss TD late in the game, the D played great. I see a much improved team and I am hopeful.
  19. more wisdom from beyond the political realm! http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor.../astrologers_dc
  20. funny, I was just coming on here to post that link!! I hope history remains the same. even so regardless of the redskins, the total voter tunrout will work for Kerry. all the polls, are fopr LIKELY VOTERS!!! they dont include people who've never voted before
  21. Ok, he may still struggle once in a while on coverage, his ints should be higher, but without those 2 punt returns today, we might not have one. contribute anyway u can!
  22. I never thought I'd see the day the Sox actually won the World Series. Just think about how much this changes everything in sports. all the talk for all these years of a curse. i mean it's incredible. hey congrats, i'm not a sox fan but hopefully this wipes out all curses around the world!
