Any care for another Drew?
lawnboy1977 replied to RJsackedagain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brees has one good year, it doesn't make him an elite QB. He lost his only playoff start. He may develop into a great QB, but it's still one year. I seem to remember Drew having one or 2 great years. -
They're both great, but OJ's teams sucked and he did so much. He was all this team had for 10 years.

Norwoods kick was 47, right?
lawnboy1977 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, its not an official thing that the ball has to be 7 yards behind the line, sometimes guys kick from 8 yards back, they might find a better ball spot. quite frankly, why are we discussing the 47 yard field goal? he missed right, it doesnt change anything. -

In all seriousness though, these people are beyond sick, and what would killing them with and electric chair or injecting them with lethal toxins do? It wouldn't change ther fact that they are a bunch of wackjobs who deserve to rot in hell. I'm not sure if there is a heaven or hell, but they are def going to hell if there is one, the 9 !@#$ing stage of hell too. in the meantime, lets hope they get sentenced to life in prison with no parole and end up becoming the target of the same type of abuse that they inflicted on these innocent children. because they will, people like that dont last long in prison. -

See the thing is, they don't need the death penalty, because think about whats gonna happen to them in prison. Say hello to the toss salad man!!! -
(OT) Planing to go to San Fran for my 20th

I lived in the bay area for 4 years, love it soooo much there. Def do the gate, wharf is pretty cool, although really touristy. You must go to some restaurants in North Beach. Some of the finest italian joints you will ever see. If you like some rock and roll history, go check out haight asbury, home of the 60s! I think the grateful dead house is on 710 haight? its on the corner there somewhere, also, amoeba records is one of the coolest record stores on the planet! if you get a chance, drive up to Muir woods, check oiut the redwoods, its only right across the golden gate bridge in Marin county, so not far out of the city. very nice. theres more, depends on how long u are planni8ng on staying there. -
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-y...ov=ap&type=lgns I'm sorry, but this is just too damn funny!! How seriuosly does someone have to take himself to actually sue a cable network over some ads that no one even remembers seeing. The guy is 79 years old, he should be thankful people are even still mentioning his name, let alone the fact that he's still breathing. Ok, kidding, but this story is just too damn funny!

Its kinda boring, can't they tell us what time the good stuff is gonna happen? What about a woman's prison shower cam, now that's somethin I wanna see!! or maybe not

Lenny P has some Bills stuff in Tip Sheet
lawnboy1977 replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea I find that hard to believe that you believe that. I would think he would want to go back to his alma mater of Pittsburgh and work on Wandstedt's staff. -
Dude, sorry but that's a bunch of bull sh--!! I don't smoke, I havent smoked in about 4 years, and I hate cigarettes, hate em. But you can honestly not say that non-smokers are more productive employees than smokers. There's absolutley no evidence to support that statement. I have worked in many offices over the years and non-smokers take just as many breaks as smokers do. Most smokers will take a smoek break every 1 to 2 hours if you think about it, which isnt that bad. Firing somone because they smoke is unjust and quite frankly it's a form of discrimination. If something like that happened to me, I'd sue, and I'm sure those employees will sue, for wrongful termination.

so where does Kelly stand in all this? I mean, he had the team to win all those games, but never did it. I think the problem with the Bills was that once we got to the super bowl, we weren't bult to last against those dominant NFC teams. well obviously. -
I know we don't have a number 1 in the draft this year, but what about the rest of the draft? How much did we give up for Losman? Was it this tears number 1 and a number 2 from last year? How did that work out, does anyone know?

This was King's MMQB article from this week. He published his final regular season rankings and quoted the Bills as being "quasi-frauds". Ouch!! I have to say he's not totally wrong but frauds, I'm not sure about that. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writ...ek17/index.html

more than likely we'll see someone brought in to compete with reed and aiken for the number 3 spot. I think Reed is capable of being a quality #3, but he needs to get his head right. i posted earlier that his psyche is shot after the season he had last year, I stand by that. the guy has the tools, he just needs to accept the role he's been given, a #3 receiver. he's not starting material, but there are a quite a few WRs out there who have made their careers on being a slot receiver. guys like bobby engram and az hakim come to mind.
-
seriously though, what's the name of that Kicker from USC? thast guy boots every fuggin kickoff out of the endzone. and I dont think I've seen him miss any kicks. might have a problem in the Orchard Park winds though.

I know from my personal experience of doing NFL drafts on Madden 2005, I drafted the O line heavily in the early and Middle rounds, and the guys I drafted went onto start within a year or too, so I would draft an OL. yea I'm a loser, so what?!!

Bills Need More Help Than People Think
lawnboy1977 replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you think about Reed, he blew the opportunity on his own. He was a fantastic #3 in his first year, but once he got promoted to #2, his psyche was shot I think. I don't think he recovered this year at all, and I dont think he will recover. as far as kickers, there are maybe 5 elite kickers in the league with probably everyone else in the same class of being average. Lindell is average, we're not gonna find some great elite kicker out there unless TD pulls something out of his ass like he did with Moorman and get a guy from the arena league or NFL Europe, but I dont see it happening. other than those positions, I think wer just need depth all around. the Bills only allowed 3 100 yard rushers the whole year and had the lowest yards per play in the league. i would just like to see some depth at the guard and tackle positions and yea maybe some DB depth, buts that all we're gonna get. same qb, same DE, probably same kicker -

Anyone hear what was said on fox radio this am
lawnboy1977 replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It doesnt matter if we lost to the Steelers backups, the 89 49ers, the 79 Steelers, the 03 Patriots, or the NFL Europe All Stars, we lost, thats it, we lost, who cares who we were playing against. The bottom line is we lost the damn game!!!! -
Who are you rooting for in the playoffs?
lawnboy1977 replied to joshfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
49ers, oh wait nevermind -
Last time I checked, he was over 100 yards, had 90 catches, and is one of the most feared WRs in the league. There is no one to replace the guy, there arent many guys the cliber of him in this league.
