  1. Yea, that was some bull sh--. What about 1978 when Star Wars lost to Annie Hall. Annie Hall for godsakes!!! The most industry changing movie of all time losing to a stupid woody allen film!!!
  2. Lucas has repeatedly said this will be the darkest film of all the Star Wars series, darker than Empire. I read an article this week where he said children should not go and see this film because of the massive amount of violence involved. I'm expecting this movie will get at least a PG-13 rating, which would be different from all the other movies that had PG ratings. This is the one everybody has looked forward too, how Anakin becomes Darth Vader, it's gonna be awesome!!
  3. why dont you write the league and ask them to change the teams shcedules and opponents so that will happen.
  4. alright so 2 of us voted. when u look at that lost, none of those guys want to be backups, cept maybe fiedler. he'll take what he can get. gannon, chandler, vinny, they're all done. Warner can play, and thats why he wont come here because he wants to play.
  5. apparently half the NHL
  6. yea what's up with that? ever siunce I signed up there I couldnt copy anything.
  7. ok, this is hilarious, but who is really calling these people?, um hi eminem, i love u will u marry me. seriously what kind of sickos are making calls. now excuse me while i go hunt down anna kournikova.
  8. That's the one I'm looking for.
  9. According to ESPN insider, Teague is a candidate to be cut also, they have some interesting stuff to say about L.J. Shelton They say shelton has overrated athletic ability and nagging injuries which make him a candidate to be cut. I dont understand the fuss about us trading for him. Yea, he's a replacement for JJ, but is he really a suitable one? Insider story
  10. ok ok, we get it. I prefer a nice stout like guiness or murphy's. any of the english ales do well by me such as boddingtons or the like. but coors, yuck hey did you know blue moon in manufactured by Coors. i used to like blue moon until i found that out.
  11. I never understood that either. How does one beer "taste colder" than another beer?
  12. I think he said that meaning he didn't want to backup a guy that he helped groom. His pride won't let him accept a backup role to a guy who he obviously taught a lot about the game.
  13. Hey, lets not kid ourselves, he might not come here. It's not like we're making a trade for a knockout player with no downside. Ultimately it would make sense for both teams, but I can tell you as a Bills fan who resides in Phoenix, knowing Dennis Green, he is very very unpredictable. Look, the guy is thinking about bringing in Brad Johnson as his new starting qb!! Brad Johnson, now granted, the guy had some solid years under Green in the early 90s, and yes he did win a Super Bowl, but there are other options. My point is that Green does what he wants, not what always makes sense. So, as much as I want this to happen, I'm not goiong to be terribly dissapointed if it doesn't.
  14. the guy scored with a big free agent deal after one solid year in B'lo, but Dat Dude aint got dos skills no more. he sucked in dalls, on a D that was #1 in '03. I dont want him here, he left so !@#$ em, we dont need em back.
  15. yea man, thats messed up
  16. Like TD said, he brought respectability back to the team. We were 3-13 the year before guys, going nowhere. When Drew signed, it was a ray of sunshine. It gave our team a glimmer of hope and brought us out of the dungeon which we might have stayed in for a few years without that season. I know, we never made the playoffs with Drew, but maybe some guys like Adams and Spikes might not have come here unless we had a high profile guy like Drew leading the team. Crazy but a theory. Frankly look at what TD has done. Draft wise, 1st round. 2001, Instead of Kenyatta Walker he Takes Nate Clements, now a pro bowler, cosider one of the best at his position 2002: Instead of Bryant McKinnie, he take Mike Williams. MCKinnie held out for most of his rookie year and has yet to show the potential that made him the top OT prospect out of college. Williams has had some dominating stretches 2003: The coup of coups, McGahee with a shocker in round 1 after basically stealing 1st round pick from ATL for P Price 2004: Instead of taking Will Smith we take Lee Evans and make a steal for JP. Now, the jury is still out, but Evans has shown he can be a star.
  17. stroke, damn ZI hate the guy but that does suck. U never wanna see that. Doesnt he have like 2 kids?
  18. All I know is this..... WTF AM I GONNA DO WITH MY BLEDSOE JERSEY!!!! I'M JUST GLAD I DIDN'T BUY AN AUTHENTIC
  19. I dont think we need another guy from the CFL down here!! That ESPN article with the list of vets being released was interesting. I'd take Fiedler, he's serviceable and seems like he'd work in our system not having to rely on him too often. Damn I havent been this excited since, since....well since the last time we released a guy who wore #11!!
  20. Project 15 million in cap room with Drew being cut and Moulds reworking his contract. You figure they give Jonas a nice long term contract with a salary bonus that is pro-rated to the end of the contract, pay him maybe $2-3 a year, sign Pat to something Similar, then yea we got plenty of room to get a LG and a journeyman QB. Question is, who are the journeymen QBs out there?
  21. In his defense, Felser did make a distinction between great passers and great quarterbacks. Still though, I don't know how you can not rank Marino as one of the top ten in either category. I think the only reason Marino never won a Super Bowl, was because he 1) had no running game, and B) never had much of a defense, you could also mention he didnt have much of a supporting cast. his top receivers for years were Duper and Clayton, who Marino made them look good, they weren't that spectacualr of a duo. Also, look back at the year the Dolphins should have made the Super Bowl. 1985, thewy lost to the Patriots, a wild card team, playing their 3rd straight road playoff game and on their way to the most lopsided Super Bowl game in history. You mean to tell me that Marino couldn't beat the Patriots that year to at least make the Super Bowl? Come on!
  22. Watch you nuts at all times!! Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
  23. Too goddamn hilarious!!!
  24. That's a good point, I like Clayton and a lot of national guys, but sometimes you cant tell a lot about a team unless u watch every game. I'd like to here what Jaws says cos he breaks down a lot of film.
  25. It's always been a reserve base, nothing more than that. I think the last time it was considered an active duty type base was way back maybe 50 years ago. The position of the base had nothing to do with protecting the power plants during the cold war. It is simply a reserve station, and a rather quiet one at that. I used to do time there, very very simple base and not much going on.
