  1. You knew that he would sign some sort of extenstion with the team eventually, and from the looks of it, he made out pretty good. One thing I don't agree with some people saying is how guys shouldn't take less money to stay with a team. I know Milloy said that, and I'm glad he did what he did cos now hes a bill, and he of course did what was best for him, but you gotta think some guys sign for less and know they are hooked up, Brady is going to have a life after football now doubt, and the guy is what, 27? my point I guess is that its good to see some guys stay with their teams for less when they know they will make out pretty damn good in the end, and for a guy like brady, with all his enndorsements, I'd say he'll make out good in the end.
  2. Pink Floyd "Animals" underrated Floyd album. a lot are tunred off b/c of the song length "Who was dragged down by the stone"
  3. BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE??
  4. ACTUALLY WE PLAYED THE JETS IN 2003 IN DECEMBER AT 4:15. I REMEMBER BECAUSE IT WAS DARK OUT AND VERY COLD AT THAT GAME!
  5. DUDE WE HAVE A SATURDAY NIGHT HOME GAME IN FRONT OF A NATIONAL TV AUDIENCE!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE THE PARTY THAT IS GOING TO BE???!!! SCREW WHAT THE LEAGUE THINKS, I'M FLYING INTO BUFFALO FOR THAT GAME!!
  6. Never said it wasnt correct, In fact the reason I posted the article was because it srtuck some good points. I dont think losing Jennings will cost us that dearly. If JP is a mobiel as he is supposed to be, then the LT position wont hurt us badly, but we still need to sign someone to fill that void, or use the draft to pick that someone up. Losman/Holcomb will turn out much better than Bledsoe. we know what we had in drew and there was no way we were going any further with him than without him. PW will affect us slightly, but I trust Gray's ability to work around the loss of just one starter with the other 10 returning.
  7. Yea I actually just saw it, Tyler, Texas. I'll bet they think Drew is the next coming of Christ.
  8. This was an interesteing point but this guy must not have seen the way Drew Bledsoe played last year!! BTW, I have no idea where the newspaper is that this dude writes for. 2. Buffalo - Forget that late-season playoff run, the Bills have taken a step back. Either cut-rate newcomer Kelly Holcomb or the inexperienced J.P. Losman will be taking the snaps in 2005, and will be operating behind a line that just lost left tackle Jonas Jennings. On the other side of the ball, the departure of key run-stuffer Pat Williams to the Vikings will undoubtedly be felt in a big way. Don't expect the Patriots, Jets, and improving Dolphins to be very forgiving to Buffalo's plight come the fall 5 up 5 down
  9. Think about how bad this situation is for the state of NY. The gov'r wants to spend what $300 million on stadium for the Jets, which may or may not land the city the olympics. Aren't there more pressing needs in the state of NY than sending the taxpayers money to a frigging football stadium? This would never happen to the Bills I guarantee. Of course, Buffalo isnt the financial center of the world either. Don't get me wrong, they deserve their own stadium, I just dont think its right for the state to fund a large portion of it. This is something that should be put to a vote in the state. I'm just glad I dont live there anymore.
  10. According to John Clayton, we're less than $1million under the cap. John Clayton
  11. THAT IS GODDAMN HILARIOUS!!!!
  12. Then we can change the name to stadiium wall entertainment and reduce the star power of the program by letting our top two performers like Stone Cold and The Rock go. Then our chairman can get angry at reporters for asking if he even cares about his posters using steroids and then the chairman would attack the reporter. btw, this all happened and are the reasons I dont really watch wrestling anymore.
  13. If I were the cards, I would just take one of the RBs coming out of the draft if they can get one of the top 3 guys with their #8 pick. Green wants an explosive guy ala Faulk or Michael Bennett, a guy with speed. TH don't have that.
  14. I'm pretty much convinced that Henry won't get traded, if he does it will be after the draft when a team needs a RB badly. I have also come to realize, and respect the fact, that TD did not go apeshit and sign anyone for too much $$ on day 1 and 2 of free agency. Look at his past record and it will show that his best signings have come late in the FA period, ie Spikes, Fletcher, Vincent.
  15. No way they sign Famous Amos, because he doesnt fit the mold of what the Bills are looking for. He's a speedy 3rd down type of back who was never able to fully carry the load even after the starting job was handed to him in Pittsburgh a few years back. There's still quite a few reliable backups out there like anthony thomas and others.
  16. I'm glad I dont have to listen to the local broadcasts anymore since I dont live in Buffalo. WGR always pissed me off because I never got any insight from any of their announcers.
  17. There is no way we could have paid Pat what he got from the Vikings.
  18. Dude, that makes no sense at all. There is no way in hell you can say what we would have gotten for henry last year. Not to mention we went into the season with a guy who had never played a down in the NFL, let alone any football in 18 months!! Someone will give us something for henry.
  19. I guess he wants to be a part of a rebuilding process, figured he would have waited to go to NYJ or NYG.
  20. I was just coming on here to make a post such as that. I have no problem letting Jennings go, because like you said he's not worth overpaying for. There will be a suitable replacement out there. Whether it be Shelton or some other FA OT. As far as Williams, I think he deserves his chance to strike it rich in FA. Granted he has been a Bill for his whole career, and I would love to see him back here. Plus the fact that the money he is asking for is just ridiculous, makes him impossible to resign. There was a reason we drafted Anderson and have kept Ron Edwards on the team. Plus there is always a way to get some depth player in FA or the draft. Consider the fact that for the second straight year, 10 of 11 starters will be returning on defense, and I think we'll be fine.
  21. Rumors of an even-up swap of Cardinals OT L.J. Shelton for Bills RB Travis Henry continued to swirl, but Cardinals head coach Dennis Green has always seemed to favor speed backs such as Robert Smith and Michael Bennett, and our sources believe Henry just isn't particularly well-suited for the style of offense Green has in mind. Straight from ESPn insider, well looks like we need someone else for left tackle. I think the only possibility is to get a second for Henry somehow, then trade that pick for shelton, maybe.
  22. I don't understand your point of view on that. While there might not have been a MAJOR BLOCKBUSTEr in the Oscars, although Aviator did pretty well in the theaters, you can't say there were no blockbusters in the year 2004. Spiderman 2, I Robot, Shrek 2, come to mind, along with others. Oscar never tends to favor blockbusters.
  23. actually Fargo was the best film that year.
  24. I dont know man, Jamie Foxx was pretty damn good in Ray. but Cheadle is one of the great actors of this decade for sure.
