  1. They forget, the Bills beat them at home last year
  2. Well there is an 80% of rain for tomorrow - will that be a disadvantage to either team? Explain
  3. Send Moats or Scott up the middle to get after the QB
  4. Here are some tips that could go a long way towards beating the Pats. Defense 1. Bills need tight secondary coverage and a good pass rush on Brady to force him to throw early, throw a interception, or sack him. It would be nice to strip the ball from Brady - get a turnover or two Offense 1. Send T.J. Graham deep and spread the Pats defense to open the way for the running game. Tight end Chandler will need a good day. 2. Forget the Wildcat formation - it won't work against the Pats, it will only produce wasted downs. 3. Protect Fitzgerald If the Bills do those things then they may possibly stand a chance to beat Brady and the Pats
  5. Bills Daily is predicting a 38-17 victory for the Pats. They stated, and I quote; "I just think they are catching the Patriots at the wrong time coming off two straight losses they will be out for blood. There may also be a bit of fallout in the locker room from the release of Brian Moorman. It all adds up to a tough game for the Bills:"

  7. My wish for Brian Moorman is that he will have such a good year punting for Dallas, that he makes it into the playoffs and eventually gets selected as a pro-bowl candidate for the NFC. I will always remember your great punts as well as the great fake punts you pulled off.
  8. I don't see it as a classy move from Chan. Rather I see it as as smart choice not to go for an added score. The game was already in the bag. Why risk a fumble or getting a player injured to boost the team stats or a players ego just to pad the score.
  9. I love it when the Bills win, but over the last ten years the Bills organization has left me more often disappointed than not. The biggest thrill or memory of last year was seeing the Bills beat the Pats in a game. If the Bills beat the Pats this Sunday then I will have something to get excited about.
  10. Best of wishes to Brian Moorman - lots of great memories of the best punter in Bills history. You have nothing to be ashamed of.
  11. Yes the Bills beat the Pats last year. I loved every minute of it. That sort of win generates more to celebrate than a victory over the Browns. So far the Bills are 2-0 against two inferior teams and 0-1 against one decent team. This Sunday the Bills will be facing another decent division team in Tom Brady and the Pats. Lets see if the Bills can win a game against a team that isn't inferior before we get too excite about the Bills. BTW - before you say, the Pats have lost two games already, remember those two losses were against the 3-0 Arizona Cards and a loss in the last two seconds from the awesome Baltimore Ravens. Then in the next two weeks lets see how the Bills fare against the 49ers and and 3-0 Cards in two away games. I hope the Bills can do it, but after the next three games I expect the Bills to be 3-3 at best. Hope I'm wrong.
  12. Murphy's law of Bill's football - the probability of a key Bills player getting injured is proportional to how effective a player he is.
  13. I TOTALLY AGREE Mix alcohol and football and it will produce some idiots. Matter of fact mix alcohol and anything and you're bound to find idiots.
  14. One Sports commentator I overheard asked it something happened to Fitz's throwing hand when he signed that 59 million dollar contract last year.
  15. Big deal, the Bills beat Cleveland. Beat the Pats and Brady this coming Sunday and then we will have something to cheer about The real key to beating the Pats is getting in Brady's face and either sacking him batting his passes down or forcing him to throw early and hopefully pick him off.
  16. Yes, The Bills won yet the pass defense gets picked apart. There seems to be more holes in the pass defense than in Swiss Cheese. Next week the Bills have to play Tom Brady. If the pass defense doesn't play better, I can see Brady having a 500 yd passing day. Looks like Spiller will be out, and not sure about Freddie Jackson. Won't be very pretty. And BTW - Fitzpatrick still has an accuracy problem.
  17. Must have been a play before Galley arrived in Buffalo
  18. This sort of thing is common in such an animal house filled with people who have been guzzling alcohol. No surprise You can be minding your own business watching the game and have someone who has consumed to much alcohol slug you for no reason at all.
  19. I root for Freddie to have a good week and am happy if he goes over 100 yds, and then if the team loses I don't care. Sure I would prefer they win, and they usually do when Freddie goes over 100 yds.
  20. I solved my depressed state - I don't watch the Bills - no meds needed - now wasn't that simple. Maybe you watch can and pound your fist on the bar, table, arm chair, etc. when Fitz throws another int., Spiller fumbles the ball away on the 1 yd. line, or Leodis gets beat for a touchdown that is the difference in the ball game.
  21. Like I said, I'm not a fan of teams. I'm a fan of individual players. My favorite all time player was Steve Tasker. So I always find another player to root for, and he doesn't have to be a Buffalo Bill.
  22. Nah, I'm not a team guy. I'm the type of guy that enjoys individual achievement. Guess that's why I also enjoy Tennis and Golf. Different strokes for different folks. It's gets tougher each week cheering on a team that when the clock runs out only leaves you depressed, and disappointed. Just donned my Green Bay Packers ballcap - I'm rooting for Aaron Rogers, unlike the Bills he hasn't disappointed me very often Exactly - and I didn't miss much did I?
  23. I'm 63 and am not in the true sense a fan of any one team. Never been a big Bills fan simply because they leave you disappointed more often than not. Over the years I have been a big fan of players. I have been a big fan of players like Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Steve Tasker, etc. Currently as my handle says, I am a big fan of Freddie Jackson, but I am also a fan of Calvin Johnson as well.
  24. I have enjoyed watching the Bills games for one reason. I am a big Freddie Jackson fan. But now that Freddie will be sitting out the next three or four games, I now find I don't have anyone on the Bills team to root for. My hope is that someone besides Freddie will step up and give us some consistent quality play time. I need a Bills player who week in and week out makes cheer. I know Spiller had a good week running the ball, but unless he begins doing it consistently then I don't find much to root for. If Fitz and Stevie Johnson ever start connecting again and putting up some respectable numbers that would also give us something to cheer about. Or maybe TJ Graham can get involved and surprise some people. Since Freddie is out for a few games, my Sunday has been freed up to spend time doing more productive things besides sitting through 3 - 4 hours of being disappointed by the Bills on the field playing and by coaches who fail to make adjustments during the game.
