    How many more of those swing passes out of the backfield are we going to throw....same issue as we've had for the last 10 years. Defenses stack the box and challenge us to throw. Then we are either unwilling or unable to get them out of that posture.

    Not sure how good of an OC he is in his first year, but with Rivers as QB it certainly will help his creds.

    In EJ's defense, Rivers is a 10 year vet and I remember he had his ups and downs his first couple of years. I'm still willing to give EJ this year to play out before I think judgement should be passed.

    Was wondering how EJ would react once he began to face some significant pressure, which he didn't see in Chicago or against Miami. As Tasker pointed out, he does seem to come quickly off his downfield reads and look for the dump off or what is right in front of him. He's got the arm to make almost any throw.
