Denver is definitely a hell of a lot better now, but between the Pats defense getting better and the refs giving the Pats every call, they will be hard to beat. NFL has their Patriots agenda again it seems.
Lol, Pats a mile offsides and no call. What a joke.
TJ has never run that route in a game before. He ran it in training camp....way back in August. Great time for Chan to call that play having a rookie run a route he hasn't practiced all season. Idiotic play call in that situation.
Graham said that was the first time he had run that route since training camp. Never ran it during a game or in any practices during the season. Chan Gailey never should have had that play in there and especially at that point in the game, Just more proof of what a buffoon Goober Gailey is.
Okay, if you say so. I guess Fitzpatrick didn't throw that ball directly to McCourty while trying to hit a rookie WR who gets one pass per week when Spiller is wide open. That pass never should have been thrown regardless if the route was run wrong or not. Good veteran QBs do not make that throw.
Gailey said TJ could have done a couple different things on that route and that he would have to look at the tape to see what happened. Sounds more like miscommunication between QB and WR on the play in general.
Agreed, but at this point in his career with Buffalo, I think 99% of fans have made up their minds on how they think Fitz is as a QB regardless of today's play.
Fitz said the exact same thing, that it was all on him, him being Fitz. TJ didn't throw the ball directly to the DB, Fitz did. He is the one who makes the decisions on where to throw the ball, so it's on him.
Fitz in his post game interview said it was on him. He said he thought he could have gotten the ball to TJ but he just didn't get it there. I'll believe Fitz before all the arm chair coaches on this site.
Listening to Fitz after the game two things jumped out. First he said that throw was totally on him and secondly he said he thinks Brandon Spikes is a punk. Way to go Fitzy, at least he has some balls.
October 2013.....MAYBE.
Love all the coaches on this site that must know the playbook and the exact route the receiver was supposed to run. He ran a route that had him 4 yards behind the DB and wide open in the back of the endzone. Fitz's pass was horribly underthrown, yet the WR ran the wrong route....OK.
