Kid's Day - Pop $2, Water $5
Bubba Gump replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right, instead of promoting healthy by handing out plastic Bills cups that you could take home, they spend the money on handing out promotional plastic, worthless, fake sunglasses to kids. I'm sure the kids like it more, but how about a plastic Bills cup you can fill with water on a hotter than hell day. Refill it in the bathroom if need be. Water don't need to be cold to work. -
You just gave me a migraine, lol. Really looks like a Brady/Garoppolo face swap.....minus the ass chin.
-
So let's make weed legal for NFL drug testing. Boy wouldn't it be fun to watch a bunch of stoned millionaires play football. How entertaining it would be....look, a fumble....players from both sides staring at the ball on the ground laughing their asses off because Willie dropped it.

And when you spend that much to watch a mediocre team year after year.... at the least the water should be cheap. -
Me too

I thought the same thing. $5 to keep hydrated and healthy, $2 to become pre-diabetic. Ridiculous. -
Dude, teams put no gameplan together for preseason. If you really think preseason play is any indication of how these teams will play when the bullets fly for real, you might need to follow a different sport. Buffalo should have no problem with Baltimore.
-
Just wow!!! And Dak Prescott will be the next Tom Brady looking at his two preseason games. Even Garappolo looks great in two preseason games. Maybe the Bills should just throw in the towel before the season starts. Didn't you know teams are now gauged by preseason performance? It's how teams are ranked now. Smh

Tough name. People might get one of the two right, but rarely both. It's a good bar trivia question. I bet less than %50 could spell his name right. -

I know it's expensive to go to a professional football game. But what you pay for tickets, maybe they could cut the price back a little for a freakin bottle of water. I mean $5 for something you need to have in your body to live? What's next, domed stadiums charging $20 for the air your breathing inside their stadium? It's !@#$ing water!!!! -
Amen to you. Some people think they know how this all works without having been around it or not having any education. It's a very, very complex problem that can have very deep roots. Not everyone's brains are wired the same from birth.

I never said to believe in what he says he is going to do. I know first hand that he is the only person that can help himself....rehab or not. It won't work if he isn't serious about it. And without going into details, I'm pretty sure I know and have much more experience in this field than you claim to. So think what you want and I'll think what I know.

Good point. I'm not so sure Karlos even has the IQ to pull off a knock knock joke. Yes I did. Sounds like he was gonna go balls out before checking in. -

Didn't look at it that way. Makes sense though. As soon as I left the stadium, I hit the first store and got me some purple drank which made everything good. -

Not sure how it works regarding establishments like New Era Field and such, but when I worked for UPS we were told that it was against the law for anyone to refuse you water if you asked for it. On overly hot days if I ran out of water, I would drink from people's hoses if no one was home. Always felt like I was doing something wrong, but it was legal and it tasted great! -
Dope, are you for real??? Clearly you have absolutely no experience in this whole drug/depression epidemic. I do have professional experience in this field and you are so far from reality it's not even comprehensibe to me. If MD was on dope (if you even know what the term dope refers to) he would never have made it to practices, let alone making it to training camp in the first place. You should really keep your thoughts on this to yourself because you are obviously clueless.

Nope. The girl that sat next to us said she went to four concessions asking for a cup with ice and they all refused her saying they needed the ice to keep the drinks cold. She finally went to a beer concession because it was nearing halftime and when they told her no, she said you're not gonna need all that ice pretty soon, so they finally gave her a small cup with ice. I mean seriously.....the stadium only has enough ice for that few hours? I'm pretty sure they have their own ice makers and can produce as much ice as humanly possible. It's a !@#$in joke how cheap they are in respect to !@#$ing water. Water is a neccesity!!! -
Just happened last year when they signed Scott Chandler and a majority here said he was gonna be one of the best TE's in the league with Brady throwing to him. Just look at his stats line.....23 grabs for 259 yds and 4 TD's. What more do you need? Smh

What's your point? I'm not sure what you're getting at. Am I not supposed to drink water on one of the hottest days at the Stadium? I'm not gonna risk dehydration or heat stroke. It was that hot there yesterday, as we were in the front row, right near the turf on the sunny side of the stadium. Many people left before halftime because of the heat. -
It's that time of year.....Steve Tasker

He just seems out of his element doing live color. Like I said, I was at the game and there were a bunch of obnoxious NY fans around us that were blatantly booing the Giants play call on that 3rd and long. Btw, Giants fans might be worse than Bills fans when it comes to loyalty. They were absolutely ripping two time Superbowl winning QB Eli Manning. You suck, you're holding us back, you haven't been good for two years. It was great to listen to them. -
I'm pretty sure he is brought up every preseason when it comes to his four games worth of color commentating for the Bills. Love the guy as he is one of my all time favorite Bills, but my God he is bad. Although, in his defense I will say he has improved slightly with the tripping over his own tongue, but still mispronounces names frequently. Now when it comes to having a feel for what's happening around him throughout the stadium.....he is cluless. I was at the game yesterday and there were more than quite a few Giants fans in attendance. I had recorded the game as well and watched it when I got home. So, on the Giants second possession it was 3rd and 19 from deep in their own territory and the Giants ran the ball, playing it safe. Boos rained down after NY had a decent gain, but still came up short of the yardage to make. Tasker says, Bills fans are unhappy because the defense gave up too many yards on a 3rd and long. WHAT???? All the booing was from the Giants fans for running on 3rd and long. All the Bills fans around me were cheering because they stopped them, as they would normally do. I don't know what he was thinking as I've never heard a home crowd boo their team for even giving up 19 yards on a 3rd and 20 forcing a punt. Too bad concussion protocol wasn't around when he played.

I agree with Nance, but Collinsworth? He is terrible.....and he looks like a scarecrow. As for your worst picks, I'm willing to bet you just hate the Dallas Cowboys. And even though he is retired, Dan Dierdorf was one of the worst announcers ever. And on a personal note, I miss Merlin Olsen.
