  1. What is the point of this thread? I surely hope it is not to suggest that we should have drafted Watt instead of Dareus.
  2. Bills would have the last wildcard spot. Wins tie break over Cincinnati based on best win percentage in conference games. Division tie break was initially used to eliminate Miami (Buffalo wins tie break over Miami based on best win percentage in common games). /ESPN/
  3. When I heard the injury last Sunday, I thought he was out for at least 2 weeks. Heard on the radio, so no link, but Spiller was quoted as saying he expects to play and Gailey said he has a "legitimate chance" to play.
  4. It would be tough for me not to play in the same division as the Dolphins. Just doesnt seem right.
  5. Mario is regularly double teamed. Poz never was.
  6. HUH??? Welker doesnt even start anymore and Lloyd hasn't caught a TD yet.
  7. Flutie was such a winner.
  8. Yup. I've noticed posters on this forum WAY overrate the 49ers. The Vikings exposed a lot of their weakness last Sunday. It's quite simple, we have to split em. And I think it's going to come by beating Az, Ten, and NE once. Possibly San Fran as we match up well against them. That would put us at 5-4 with an easy stretch coming up and needing to go 5-2 the rest of the way which is certainly possible.
  9. Sad day. Moorman was the lone bright spot of the last decade. I will always thank him for giving it his all. I'll never forget him getting drilled in the pro-bowl either. Thanks for everything Brian.
  10. If he does what he did Sunday, every game, I don't care if he doesn't get a single sack.
  11. Youre absolutely right. My post could have been 4x longer. He had a huge impact.
  12. First, I want to dispell the myth that Mario wasn't being double teamed. Just because YOU didn't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. And in fact, it did. This happened the entire game. On some plays, they would have the RB stay in for a moment to check if Mario was getting the best of the RT, if not he would flank out for a pass. If so, he would stay in and double him. There's a reason why Charles and McCluster didnt catch my passes like they usually do... Another method the Chiefs used was to have the TE chip Mario and then have the RT there as backup. Another double team. 1) 2) Second, I want to showcase exactly the impact that Mario is making. Just because he is not recording the sack, does not mean that he is not the reason for them. Just like Revis will not get a lot of interceptions. Take a look at this play. Mario dominates his man so much that he pushes him back into the QB. Cassel feels this, steps up into the pocket where Dareus takes him down. MARIO is the reason for this sack. 1) 2) 3) Sack On this next play, Mario's presence leads to Kyle Williams getting to Cassel and causing the in completion. The right guard moves over to help the LT as seen by the arrow. By the time the RG moves back to his spot, Kyle Williams is already past him and on the way to the QB. 1) 2) The next play, Mario flat out beats his guy on a beautiful inside move forcing Cassel to release the ball. Incomplete. This is just a small sampling. But I think you get the point. Football is a game of inches. Some of the most important players are invisible, but their impact is what wins you the game.
  13. Shut up Donahoe.
  14. What is everyone's obsession with Brad Smith? Are you SO offended he makes $4 million? Do you think that would actually stop the Bills from picking up a WR if they wanted to? NO!
  15. The Pats will also be coming off of a tough fought Baltimore game.
  16. Sorry, I have no tolerance for ignorance.
  17. He was definitely in....
  18. Jauron was an idiot, but he's right. It's hard to win in the NFL.
  19. lol absolutely wrong. Brady threw a crap ball, then Woodhead ran for a 30 yard TD that got called back, Then Brady got all of those penalty yards back by hitting Welker for 13 yards. Then Brady kneeled it twice and they kicked it. The Pats got the ball at the 30 yard line after the fumble. They were at the 24 yard line when they kicked the field goal. No penalty pushed them back further.
  20. The problem is youre arguing a point that the coach himself probably wouldn't argue.
  21. Niners are getting A LOT of hype. Some of it deserved, but a little ridiculous as well. The Lions defense showed exactly how to stop their offense last night. The problem with the Lions is they have no RB.
  22. Youre not going to get a false start or a hold on a QB sneak. Youre just making up stuff to prove your point. Belichick was wrong. He HIMSELF probably realizes. Even the best make mistakes.
  23. Im not going to go through the entire game noting every instance just because you can't open your eyes or engage your brain. For goodness sake, Gailey talked about it after the game as well. Tell the head coach he is wrong. Im not going to waste my time with your ridiculousness.
