Hughes doesn't get why Jim Kelly is on the field in 2017
Jeebus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of people have been out of line in this. Trump, Kelly, McCoy, Hughes, among others... all should STFU. I think the most sensible response I've seen thus far is this guy... https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/09/25/national-anthem-protests-buffalo-bills-stadium-employee-quits -
Here's your chance to check out now.
Jeebus replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is going to be optimism and pessimism going into this season. No one is that delusional that this was going to be our season to win it all. We, as fans, all have our own frustrations and opinions on what could or should be done.... but they are opinions, get over it. I've been more of a lurker than a poster over the years but that doesn't make me any less knowledgeable or any less of a fan. But frankly, this thread is a bunch of BS and should never have been started. It's a bunch of manopausal whining and you have no right to tell anyone to "check out" who has suffered through the drought and is still here just the same, whether they are bitching or not. -
For the Bills I gave an A... because first of all keeping them in Buffalo, the pegulas were thrown into a HC search unexpectedly and bought into Rex's bs but realized the error of their ways and didn't waste time correcting it and after a couple years to get acclimated to owning an NFL team cleaned house and looks as if they put things on the right track. In a couple more years if this doesn't pan out the grade will be much lower, but as of now I give it an A

Without the Bills, I would still keep up with football but not consider myself a fan of any team. My wife would push hard for me to follow her team, but frankly the cowboys disgust me and I could never stoop so low.

Honestly, I think they came into the game with a plan and stuck to it. Establish the ground game, the jets defense focused on the WRs, to we went to TE and RB more with the pass. On defense, their major weapons were Powell and Forte, play run first, make McCown beat them with inferior receivers, no big plays. First game with new coaches, new schemes, let's not get crazy and get used to things before we pull out all the stops.

Dump the Entire Division System and ReTool
Jeebus replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The divisions are fine and the way it is now works... we do have a bit of a sour taste in our mouth cause we have been stuck with the Patriots*, but they have been the exception to the rule, no other division has been like this. Playoffs are a different situation, I would like to see it go purely by record and not division winners. -
Predictions for Next Year's Super Bowl?
Jeebus replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because I live close to Dallas and my wife and her whole family are cowboy fans, id never hear the end of it. I still get heckled from the SBs in the 90s -
Predictions for Next Year's Super Bowl?
Jeebus replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it's Dallas and new England I won't even watch -
I live about an hour and a half east of Dallas and my retarded self married a second generation cowboy fan so I get to hear about it often from my wife and father-in-law. It's getting bad again now that they're getting pretty good

I'm in Texas now, it's still not all that great being a Bills fan in Texas. It was sweet when we beat them a couple years ago, but all I ever hear about is the Superbowls 25 years ago

Karlos Williams' son battling rare illness;family in need
Jeebus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't believe some of the posters on here, bashing Karlos because he didn't make the best decisions... ffs, he was still a kid. I guess none of you EVER made a bad decision when you were younger. No one could predict this kind of thing happening to their child. It's hard no matter what your financial status is. At least he can be there for little Kason. Honestly, with his concussions he wasn't going to have a long luxurious career anyway. I for one will be donating and I hope some of you take a minute and think "what if that was my kid" I wish Karlos and Kason the best and hope for a good recovery -
One of the undrafted pick ups has a mean streak...
Jeebus replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes the highlight reel is against lesser competition, but that's quite a few plays of him manhandling people... not saying he's going to be a star, but that's what you need to do at that level to at least have a shot -
When it comes to all this, everyone knew this would be the outcome. Whaley made some good decisions, made some poor ones, he didn't exactly have the best of situations with all the coaching and scheme changes. Hughes, Lorax, McCoy were huge plusses... EJ, cardale, Watkins were his downfall. I always had the impression he was trying to find the next cam Newton, even with Tyrod. I'm not completely dissatisfied with the job DW did, but optimistic a better job can be done

For being such a high rated player, he hasn't been mentioned once... by anyone during this draft I think this is leaning towards udfa, but our 6th might be the kids only shot
-
I wouldn't mind seeing a late round shot at him. The off field issues and Injury, especially the wrist will make many teams back away. The kid has talent but what I fear most is will his immature attitude create a sense of entitlement due to the family name and what it's meant to this organization? Hell, would it be a great storyline that the nephew of the QB that brought us to glory eventually takes over and leads us to greatness again... sure. Could it happen... maybe. Likely... not so much TT is good, but not the type that's going to get us where we want to be. Cardale is still not ready and who knows if he will ever be that guy. We need a 3rd QB anyway so why not

Breaking News: Rex Ryan and Rob Ryan Fired
Jeebus replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wonder if Schwartz would come back as HC and return the defense to its previous form, keep Lynn as OC/assistant HC -
From butt fumble to butt dance... I'm honestly surprised no one from NYC has tried to shoot him yet, such an embarrassment... And it has to say something that the longest running thread in a jets forum is a Sanchez sucks post with over 11k replies

Now what will be fun to watch is if Brady get injured this year like he did a few years back. Tebow vs Mallett... There's a circus I wouldn't mind seeing...

Youthful Bills could be looking to get even younger.
Jeebus replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remember in a recent interview with Marrone that he has been very happy with Manuel AND Tuel... I wonder if DM didn't pick up his franchise back up as well... I don't see TJax making it -
Apparently Maybin has finally realized his true calling isn't football... I just saw this on instagram http://t.co/ZApdN3GBPH and realize hes not going to make as an artist either... What else is he going to fail at?

Eugene Cyril "Geno" Smith III - QB - West Virginia
Jeebus replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best of luck to him with all this. Goes from pouting on day one of the draft, to look at him now... Not looking any better than Sanchez in OTAs.... Oh I can't wait for Pettine's new defense to shut down this kid And he was supposed to be first overall...
