  1. My wife was out when she heard the news... I got a call and was cussed out... I couldn't stop laughing
  2. My wife and her side of the family are huge cowboy fans... This is going to chap their ass. Beasley was one of my wife's favorite players
  3. It's very probable... But nice to hope. We still have the cap space
  4. Still want D.Williams and let the best 5 play, and gives us depth
  5. With what we have added already, I would like to see us get D.Williams. Then draft best OL available with our 1st pick. It would completely revamp our O-line. Add another receiver either T.Willams or Tate and another pass rusher. Draft D-line with the 2nd pick. WR\RB with 3rd and 4th round picks. That would give us a pretty solid O-line with Dawkins, Long, Morse, Teller, Williams, and the drafted player to choose from. An upgraded receiving corps with the FA receiver, then Duke Williams, Zay, Foster, and the draft pick. An interesting battle for the RB position. With the corner we picked up to go opposite Tre, a couple more piece to solidify the D-line... The defense should be pretty stout. I would feel pretty good about us going into this upcoming season
  6. I'll listen to Schein on sports on SiriusXM during the day, he regularly has good things to say about Buffalo and is a big Josh Allen supporter. He started off in Syracuse so that might play a factor
  7. I would say it depends on what they want for compensation. the ability to stretch the field with that type of speed and Allen's arm would definitely keep defenses honest and they would have to compensate. it could open up a lot of underneath throws and even the run game. whoever covers him is going to have to have help because he can outrun just about anyone on the field. If played right that could mean another touchdown a game not counting what that frees up for everyone else. Ross didn't have many catches while he was in Cincinnati, but he still scored about seven touchdowns in those few catches
  8. I honestly wouldn't care who the opponents would be in the playoffs or the superbowl. It would just be great to win one. However, if I could choose I would choose to beat the Cowboys... my wife and her whole side of the family are cowboy fans and I'm living in Texas... just to shut them up
  9. There's a part of me that roots for Mahomes, but just because he grew up in the area I live in now. He played his high school ball down the road in a smaller school. However, the arrogance referenced is real. Ever since he was drafted, it's been pretty bad and his whole family acts like their sh*t doesn't stink. I'm a home health nurse and actually saw his grandmother at one point and the attitude was ridiculous, especially if you saw where they came from before.
  10. I'm all on board with Allen. He was actually the one I was realistically hoping we would get. I knew Darnold and Mayfield were going to the Jets and Browns, which left the Josh's. Rosen does have the better start now capabilities. People raved over his techniques and mechanics, but with his concussion history and our OL isn't a good fit. Not to mention the kid has douchebag written all over him. There was a reason he was the last of the 4 to go. There were plenty of analysts who originally pegged Allen to be the number 1 overall and I think he's going to be just fine. Allen might not be our starter day one, but there's a good chance he will be before the end of the season and I'm hoping we will all be pleasantly surprised.
  11. Would really like to see O-line
  12. Think of who the GM is now... Dorsey. Last year with KC he traded up to get Mahomes, didn't worry about a RB until Rd3 and found Hunt. He came to Cleveland to get a QB, not saying he wouldn't take Barkley at 4 if he's there, but I wouldn't be surprised if he passed on Barkley still at 4 with what they already have at RB and took Chubb if available, or maybe Nelson or Fitzpatrick
  13. I feel we would have already made the trade to #2, but what the Giants are asking for is more than what Beane is willing to pay. I know we are in pretty desperate need of a QB, but we also have other holes to fill as well. All the players we have given up to acquire these picks... Watkins, Darby, Glenn, Taylor... and then all the picks that it would take to make the move, I believe is too much. If a more reasonable deal, or suitor a little further down if who the Bills want is available, I believe it will happen on draft day.
  14. I fully agree that we are in dire need of quality talent at the QB position; however, given the current state of the rest of our roster I would fear packaging up picks to get the guy would prevent us from plugging some of those holes... I would hate to have a great QB and have him ruined early on because of missing pieces. Okay, look at Eli Manning this year, quality franchise QB who couldn't do squat because of a crap O-line and lack of available targets once OBJ went down.
  15. More then likely they thought Peterman wasn't ready and they thought they could get Taylor to be something he wasn't. This is still a scary proposition throwing a rookie against a defense that is second in sacks. Another ballsy call by McD. It worked fairly well with the trades before the season and I was doubting of those moves. I'm going to wait to reserve judgement on this one. Taylor is the best quarterback we have had in a long time but, I do see how Taylor is the square peg in the round hole with this offense and Denison has failed to use Taylor appropriately and Peterman may be a better fit for what they are trying to do.
  16. If we continue our current trend the way we have been playing as of late I can see a typical 8-8 season.... any type of resurgence to the way we started the season I could easily see 10-6 or even 11-5... all depends on how they bounce back for the second half of the season. But history is not exactly on our side so you can't blame the doubters, 17 years is a long time.
  17. I totally agree, when we started the season there were plenty of people that thought we would only have this amount of wins by the end of the season, yet we are there by the halfway mark... one bad game, and oh god was it horrible, doesn't break a season.
  18. There is blame all around, I do feel that the O-line was by far the worst part. Basically the whole team went full retard and forgot how to tackle or block
  19. I see an improvement but I don't see a fix to create at overall dominant offensive line that we need for the Run game and passing game we have
  20. I don't know what the draft class looks like coming out, but would it be feasible to use at least one of these higher draft picks to fix this embarrassment we saw last night?
  21. Important game, yes... biggest game of the drought, no. This game is just as important as the last 6. The Raiders looked better last week, it will be a good test if they can repeat that showing and if we can continue to hold up. Next week will be just as important, if not more.
  22. I wouldn't call this game a cake walk, CIN has looked like a different team since firing their OC. They do have a defense and they do have some talent. They looked like crap the first 2 weeks but then gave GB a run for their money at Lambeau and won last week. We lost some starters and some players are really going to have to step up cause CIN is in desperation mode and are going to pull out all the stops cause this is a must win for them.
  23. The power rankings are meaningless, are we #3 in the league, no I really don't feel we are, but I think the overall impression is we are finally getting some respect. Finally viewed beyond the 17 years of non playoffs as finally having a coach who is putting things together now and poised for a future. Instead of the usual spinning of the wheels. All of the so called "experts" had us written off as tanking and even some around here.... I'll even admit, I didn't have very high expectations, not a tank, just setting up for next year. So I say enjoy it, it's a good feeling not to hear the Bills get trashed every time I hear about them on tv or radio.
  24. And who said anything about beating wives, even Poyer piped up and said the workplace is not the appropriate avenue to be doing this. So you want to pick one point and go to the extreme and ignore the main point.... its just someone who felt so strongly about multimillionaires bitching about being oppressed that he couldnt work for them. FFS, KtD get a grip
