Did you play football, at any level?
Jeebus replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Played through High School. MLB or DE. Had a tryout scheduled with a semi-pro team, Buffalo Gladiators, back in the 90s but went off into the Marines instead. I've done some coaching at the youth level off and on when my kids have played -
The Mahomes clan article
Jeebus replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can personally confirm his family can be pretty insufferable. I'm in Tyler, TX... Mahomes grew up and played his HS ball in a small town just outside Tyler called Whitehouse, TX. Couple years back I was working for a home health company and we had his grandmother on service and they expected preferential treatment because they were "Mahomes". Rude, snobby, condescending to staff. Everyone dreaded going out there. This whole area has a ridiculous obsession with PM and that doesn't help matters -
The Super Bowl Halftime Performer Is ...
Jeebus replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just continuing the anti-cop rhetoric. This guy had issues punching a police officer a while back. Fits the way the NFL is going https://www.themix.net/2020/11/nfls-decision-to-tap-artist-who-assaulted-police-for-super-bowl-halftime-sends-a-clear-message/ -
First off, let me add I'm not crazy about this idea, but I can maybe see where they are going with this. The biggest thing I don't like is starting at the 25. An incomplete pass almost guarantees the other team at least 3pts because it pretty much puts them right at the field goal range of most kickers. With the recent changes to onside kicks, it's harder than the "historical" average to recover one these days so I understand the search for a for viable option while considering the CTE fears. If it's going to be a possibility, I'd say keep it at the 35 yard line. But still, this is going to be very bias to the better offenses in the league. A KC will do this much more often than say the Redskins, who don't simply have the firepower and will be the ones who need to do it. Kicks made it a more level playing field.

If this isn't one of the most blanantly racist ideas I don't know what it. Boost your draft position solely on the basis of having a minority coach, who cares about qualifications anymore. I'm all for everyone getting their shot, but may the best man get the job. Not just getting their shot because it comes with perks and someone better qualified getting shafted.

The AFC is a dumpster fire this season
Jeebus replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A better record than another division winner... Not the same division. Example wild card teams had better records than Seattle in 2010 when they won the division at 7-9 and the same with Carolina in 2014 at 7-8-1 -
Around the NFL: Week 6 Sunday Game Thread
Jeebus replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For those who have already chalked up Thanksgiving as a loss. I know it's in Dallas and they play better at home, but the way the 0-5 jests are beating them so far makes it seem fairly promising -
Week 4 Broadcast Maps have been posted...

Who is your most hated team in the NFC?
Jeebus replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dallas is the only NFC team I can say I hate. I'm pretty meh when it comes to any others. I live a ways out of Dallas and the fans here are horrible. But my hatred for Dallas falls second only to the pats... I'm pretty neutral when it comes to any other team unless they're playing the Bills -
Michael Robinson on GMFB bold prediction (Bills)
Jeebus replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not necessarily, most of the so called "predictions" so far are picking the jests to win and the Bills to have a similar record to last year. We don't get much credit, even though we upgraded every spot that we were weakest last year. Plus, Allen in his second year and didn't have to split first team reps in the off-season and by all accounts is picking everything up fast -
Grew up just outside of Niagara Falls, but currently live in a town about 2hrs East of Dallas. Mostly cowboy fans here, mixed in with some Texan and Saint fans. I have come across a stray Bills fan every now and then. It's a struggle in my house, my wife and her side of the family are all big time cowboy fans

Lorax was on SiriusXM with Vic Carucci and Charlie Weis
Jeebus replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I change the channel whenever Weis is on... I can't take his constant Patriot @ss kissing -
The Thanksgiving game might not be as bad as everyone assumes. Looking at the Dallas schedule, they have NE the week before and Chicago the week after. I could see them overlooking us and being able to pull off an upset
-
I was looking forward to trying to make it too but have the same issue.... Unfortunately it's 8 years, not 4. Then next time they play it'll be a home game. It will make for an interesting Thanksgiving though, my wife's side of the family who we spend the holiday with are all cowboy fans

Is it wrong of me to hope Brown chooses 84 to troll AB

Are you embarrassed to wear Bills gear?
Jeebus replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm in a area heavily dominated by cowboy fans... I wear Bills gear often... My wife's side of the family has just come to accept it. Every great once and a while I will cross paths with another fan and it's like an instant friendship. I will say, I do catch more ***** after the Beasley signing... It's great -
WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
Jeebus replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm loving this guy more and more... His shut down to these bitter cowboy fans are priceless -
What if Rosen Ends Up In Miami?
Jeebus replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As much sense as it would make for them and I would think it would be an awesome story line for the AFC East with 3 QBs from that draft class competing every years.,. This came out about a week ago https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=0ahUKEwiCidTs04HhAhUMQ6wKHWPsCzQQzPwBCAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thephinsider.com%2F2019%2F3%2F4%2F18249509%2Freport-miami-dolphins-are-not-interested-in-cardinals-qb-josh-rosen&psig=AOvVaw3wOVZ63oC2oDwdPCsNOkk4&ust=1552653686276978 -
This seems somewhat reminiscent of what happened here in Buffalo in the recent past. Clear the big contract, non process guys off the roster, collect picks, clean up cap space, and rebuild fresh Look at the players that we got rid of and the past few years... Watkins, Dareus, Darby, etc. It screwed up our cap for a year or two, but look at us now They couldn't afford Collins, they got an extra 1st and 3rd plus a safety on his rookie deal with the obj deal

And most people are forgetting Duke Williams from the CFL... So we've actually brought in 3 WR to try and fix things
