Continuity may have worked in the past with coaches like chuck noll but in todays nfl things have changed. There was no free agency back then you could keep your players and give coaches more time to improve Chuck I believe was only 37 anyway, a very young coach not like Chan.

I told my son before the beginning of the season this team would falter because of Fitzpatrick. My son did not believe me he said the defense would me much better and Fitz would play much better after healing. Well I guess he knows I was right. His constant turnovers last year made the defense look a lot worse than what it really was. Now he is doing it again and you wonder why we lose. Yes I place the blame on Fitzpatrick and now so does my son. Yes the defense is bad but a lot of that can be contributed to being put in to a position to fail both by coaches and by the turnovers.

He needs to get on another team. Personally I liked him on Miami

Agreed knee jerk reactions usually do not work in firing a coach. BUT!

I believe Mario is a very good to great football player but I believe his EGO is bigger than him and thats how Rex Ryan wanted his tackle to play him by getting him out of his game. I do believe that if someone had done that to Bruce Smith he would of been laying on the ground. I am beginning to think Mario does not have that kind of personality and it may show even more in the coming games. I really hope it doesn't and he becomes stronger from this, sometimes wealth does funny things to people.

I have to agree on the Vince Young not being given a fair shot. He was set up to fail, he never got to play with the first team. I thought Gailey really never wanted him in the first place and he was beginning to become a distraction.( Gailey was afraid of a day like this when Fitz was playing like crap and it would cause a controversary especially if Fitz continues to play like himself in front of the home crowd.) I would not be surprised if Trent was Gaileys man and when he started to fail Nix got rid of him. Chan just cannot judge talent and his system if you would call it that is failing and has failed since last year.
