  1. The first 15 games proved we need a QB. The last game is for HC
  2. We will find out if the players want Chan back next year, how hard they play against the jets.
  3. At the very least Chan needs better assistant coaches . Nix needs help drafting. Caldwell know's scouting and how to draft. It would be great if the bills could get him here. Bad drafts and letting good FA's walk and injuries hurt the most. How much is beast mode worth today in a trade.
  4. The snow sent a message.
  5. Draft guru Mel Kiper of ESPN has identified Westfield High graduate Mike Glennon as potentially the top pick among quarterbacks in the 2013 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-6, 232-pound Glennon is a two-year starter and fifth-year senior at N.C. State. "It's still pretty wide open to see who the first quarterback taken will be," Kiper said in a Tuesday teleconference. "If I had to guess right now, I would say Mike Glennon. ... He has a very good chance to emerge as a top-15 pick in the first round and certainly be the first quarterback off the board." Glennon led the ACC in passing yards, completing 295 of 511 throws for 3,648 yards, with 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. His 131.6 efficiency rating fell short of his 136.4 mark last year when he took over for Russell Wilson, who transferred to Wisconsin after graduating from N.C. State. Kiper acknowledged that a few months ago, Glennon ranked below Matt Barkley (USC), Geno Smith (West Virginia) and Logan Thomas (Virginia Tech). But the stock of those quarterbacks has fallen while Glennon's has remained steady. Departed Tom O'Brien, coach this year at N.C. State (7-5) and formerly the coach at Boston College, compared Glennon to another college player he coached, Matt Ryan, when Glennon ascended to the starting role in 2011. He threw 61 touchdown passes in his two seasons as a starter with the Music City Bowl still left to be played in Nashville, Tenn., on Dec. 31 against Vanderbilt. Glennon, the younger brother of former Virginia Tech quarterback Sean Glennon, led Westfield to the Group AAA, Division?6 state championship as a senior in 2007 with a 15-0 record and was a two-time all-state performer there. He was also named the Gatorade state player of the year as a senior. "He's got the size. He's got the arm. He's got the mobility within the framework of the pocket," Kiper said. "He didn't have a great supporting cast around him. He's gonna be at the Senior Bowl, as will some of these other quarterbacks. That's gonna be an important week." - Kevin Dunleavy http://washingtonexaminer.com/mel-kiper-mike-glennon-could-be-top-qb-in-draft/article/2515692
  6. Gruden makes very big money on MNF till 2016. Brandon may have been asking his opinion on someone
  7. Ralph is going out spending. He doesn't want to pinch pennies at this stage after his FA signings and a new lease. I haven't felt this hopeful about the bills in many years. Thank you Ralph ! He will likely keep Chan and Nix but get them better assistants. It's a slow slog with Nix but he has a plan.
  8. Take Te'o 1st, then trade up if there is a qb worth it this year. I like 2014 better.
  9. Eric, follow the Levitre conditioning routine and stay healthy. Your a great player when you are 100%. If we have playoff teams ,no need to go to Toronto, except 1 preseason game.
  10. Great news, the economy will recover by the end of the lease and we can afford a new stadium then.
  11. Enhanced drivers license or pass port
  12. 2014 looks safer for qb draft , go for that like RG3 trade up
  13. Need a safe pick, go with Te'o
  14. Agree 100% , take a good look at backups and give them experience
  15. No, it's more money in Ralph's pocket. The canadians support the bills but our poor record short changes them.It helps keep the team in Buffalo
  16. I would hire Polian and Ron Jaworski to consult on a good qb to trade for or draft.
  17. The absolute minimum is for him to resign Levitre and Byrd or Nix should be fired. Bad draft picks are bad enough but letting good players walk away instead of a fair trade is no longer a option. 13 years not making the playoffs with good draft position is beyond terrible.
  18. A lot of billionaries out there who could pay cash and enjoy the game without a profit . Pegula did that for the Sabres. Just wishful thinking. Goodell is from Jamestown and would prefer the bills stay here
  19. So many teams are desperate for a qb this year, bad picks and trades will be made. Same thing for HC hirings. I would try for Teo 1st round and hope the OL stays healthy next year and sign Levitre. 2014 looks better for the qb picks. Stay with sure picks and trades this off season. Starting from scratch again with the people avail to us looks less promising.
  20. I guess its true, nice guys finish last (except Marv)
  21. I wonder if he could play CB?
  22. " They’ve allowed 402 points on the year, putting the team record for most points allowed back on the table. The record is 454, set by the 1984 team that finished 2-14."
  23. We will see how he does against the Hawks and no Fred. I hope he has a great game but OL is hurting.
  24. We will see how our improved run defense looks against beast mode. With no pressure to make playoffs, the bills should experiment and give back ups experience. 58-0 , Hawks show no mercy last game.
  25. You just took "Taking the sail out of our winds"
