It's only fair to give a new coaching staff 3 years to succeed. Injuries last year on a team without depth sounds reasonable. Less stress on the fans if expectations are low for now.
A small increase in sales tax for the 8 WNY counties to fund a new stadium and how about the casinos pitching in. Seneca Nation Stadium ?
Whatever it takes to keep the Bills here, I'am for it.
The " Frankenstein Offense " sounds more intimidating then West Coast. It will take time to learn with a new qb and OG. I would be patient, it's the last rebuild till new owner and stadium.
They still need to sign Byrd, Spiller and Wood long term or trade them, or they too could walk when there contracts are up. Mario and Flacco with big contracts leaves less pie for the rest.
The year before a contract expires, negotiate a new one. If the player wants too much, trade him for a draft pick at least ,don't let him walk. If you don't want to resign a player, then let him play out his contract and walk.
Darrius Heyward-Bey was set to make $10 million next year. Way too much, but good size and speed . http://www.silverandblackpride.com/2013/3/13/4101394/darrius-heyward-bey-speaks-for-first-time-since-release-from-oakland-raiders
Amendola was undrafted in 2008, went to cowboys practice squad then eagles before claimed by rams. I can't imagine paying him $6 million a year. I must be missing something.
If we build a dominate OL , it can make a average rb and qb good. That's why I would take a OT with 8th pick or trade it for both the Vikings 1st picks.
Let the FA's stay out there long enough to be more reasonable on contracts. I like that we have more cap space . 1 player Mario takes more then 10% of cap alone. look how the Ravens have to let starters go.
