  1. Good thing we didn't have to face RG3 and Cousins
  2. This game took the sail out of our wind, good grief.
  3. Hope they put EJ up in the booth next to Pettine for the next 2 games to get his take on reading a defense.
  4. Not yet sold on TJ,I might gamble and keep Rogers instead. Agree with Astrobot "and a tall guy" for receivers, every team needs a Megatron
  5. Easley looks very good in preseason, I would keep him (if his heart is ok) over Brad Smith if I had to choose only one.
  6. RG3 will wear his knee brace all season, might be a idea for EJ & E. Woods. http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/redskins-watch/2013/jul/30/rg3-expects-wear-right-knee-brace-all-season/
  7. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger claim that the surface at Ralph Wilson Stadium was to blame for Pittsburgh guard David DeCastro injury on Saturday night in Buffalo missed the mark in one important respect: Roethlisberger blamed FieldTurf, but the surface at Ralph Wilson Stadium is actually called A-Turf Titan. FieldTurf is a brand name for a type of artificial surface that many NFL teams use, either in their stadiums or on their practice fields. A-Turf Titan is a different type of artificial surface that the Bills are alone among NFL teams in using at their home fields http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/08/27/roethlisbergers-rant-at-ralph-wilson-stadium-turf-missed-the-mark/
  8. Once the OL settles and gels to give EJ more time, he can throw long.
  9. If a player you want to keep and will not extend, at least you can trade him while under contract. That's better then letting a good player like Levitre walk away.
  10. 3rd year with the Bills (before he was let go with Chan) Joe D Alessandris is entering his third season with the Buffalo Bills as the team;s offensive line coach and oversees a group that rose to the top of the NFL in 2011 by allowing the fewest sacks in the league (23). Below is a list of the offensive line accomplishments under D Alessandris; guidance: Despite eight different offensive line starting lineups in 2011, D Alessandris; line held their opponents to an NFL-best 23 sacks - third-fewest in a Bills 16-game season Buffalo;s offensive line helped pave the way for an AFC-best 4.9 rushing yards per carry in 2011 - the fourth-best average in team history and the highest since 1975 The Bills offensive line opened the running lanes for seven individual 100-yard rushing performances in 2011 - third-most in the NFL. The offensive line also helped produce the first season in Bills history in 2011 to feature two running backs that posted a 5.0 yards per carry average or better (Fred Jackson - 5.5 and C.J. Spiller - 5.2) The Bills featured seven different offensive line combinations in 2010 In 2010, the line was instrumental in helping the rushing offense rank tied for sixth in the AFC with 4.3 rushing yards per carry average. Line allowed just 34 sacks in 2010 to rank 15th in the NFL, 12 less than the 2009 total http://www.buffalobills.com/team/coaches/joe-dalessandris/688adbac-4dd4-49d8-be7c-98463346bf27
  11. The bills should have kept the OL coach from last season, he did a great job.
  12. Byrd has to show what he can do in Pettines system to justify the money he is asking for or be traded for a 1st rd pick.
  13. ALF favorite TV series
  14. Fair prediction, we are rebuilding, new coaches, new players, new playbook. We will battle the Jets to stay out of last in div. I think we are on the right track.
  15. The new 49'r stadium for $1.2 billion will be 40 miles from Oakland, open in 2014. Would be cheaper for both teams to use one stadium.
  16. Byrd was born in San Diego, don't know his off season home, but here would be cheaper is the point. His father played for the chargers.
  17. Mark Kelso made a good point on the Murphy show, $6 million in WNY is like $8 million in San Diego. The Bills are rebuilding , I would trade him for a 1 st rd pick when he signs his franchise tag. If we had a chance for the playoffs in the next 2 years I would try to keep him. Whaley is sending a message to any player who hires Parker.
  18. My first priority would be to extend CJ. If Byrd is asking for too much on a non playoff team, let him sign his franchise tag and trade him for a 1st rd pick.
  19. If Parker is asking too much, all the bills can do is get Byrd under contract even the franchise tag , and trade him if the cost is too high. We can't let him walk without a trade like Levitre. The bills have more good players to re-sign yet like CJ and Eric Woods
  20. July 15: Deadline for franchise tagged players to sign multi-year contract extensions. If no deal is reached by this date, a franchised player can only play on a one-year deal in 2013. This is a key date to keep in mind with Jairus Byrd. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2013/6/6/4403724/important-dates-for-jairus-byrd-contract-watch-july-15-november-12
  21. My point is , if real players want to win the super bowl, they will not ask for a massive salary and make the salary cap undoable. Greed is bad for a lack of a better word SJBF.
  22. If J Byrd is'nt on the top 100 list he should sign for $6.9 million a year or be traded. No way Mario is worth 16 mill, it sets the bar for pay in the greed section not for team making the salary cap.
  23. Extend players 1 year before there contract is up or trade them. I hate to see good players walk away free agents.
  24. The upbeat enthusiasm of the new coaching staff is just what Dareus needs.
  25. If Buffalo's next stadium is a dome , then a natural grass field that could be rolled out to another low building with heat, grow lighting and watering. Ideal field year round, a lot less injuries, players want to be here. (just dreaming)
