ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions parted ways with special teams coordinator Danny Crossman. He has already joined the Buffalo Bills in the same capacity, the Bills announced Monday. The team announced Monday that Crossman would not return next season. Crossman's coaching was scrutinized after Detroit became the first team since at least 1940 to give up a kickoff and a punt return for touchdowns in consecutive games last season.

This team shows good potential for next season if they can stay healthy. Another good draft , coaches with more experince, not sure about ST coach. The injuries this season are just too many.

Byrd had 1 good blocked pass, did not notice him after that (on tv) I don't think his trade value went up or he is any where near #1 safety after this game.

It might be a good idea to extend his contract now. RFA in 2014.

We have him till the end of the season when he will be a FA. Trading him before Oct 29 would not be a good option unless someone made us a offer we can't refuse (we won't make the playoffs)

With EJ as the starter and Thaddeus as his backup, the future is looking brighter.

Legursky has better leverage being shorter then Brown . Woods had a couple bounce off his chest, but they did ok without SJ today. Chandler looked good also .

At least Legursky was playing well. I look forward to next season after another good draft. Thad has good potential ,even playing with a injured foot.

This is a rebuilding, non playoff year for the bills. Lets see what Easley and other backups can do and give them some exprience,

His father was at one time a US Senator and Rep from NY. He passed away living in D.C.

Roger is from Jamestown and his mother was from Buffalo . He will help keep the Bills in Buffalo with the next owner. I don't mind strict penalties to keep it from getting out of control.

I would have extended Levitre and Rhinehart before there contracts ended. Kept OL coach Joe D' . If we find a cheaper player as good as Levitre thats when to trade him. EJ and CJ are in trouble without a good LG. Hairston out is also a negative.

Once the Bills become a playoff contender , they have to eliminate all penalties , including celebration , that's on coaching.

Wishing Fred a longer and healthy career as a true Bill . He will always be loved by WNY.
