Carolina fans seem very much the fair weather type. The restaurant that I bartend at, here in Raleigh is pretty large. There's about 20 self proclaimed "die hards" that work there. Yet, during the playoff game today, almost all of them were there at work, very non chalantly stopping up to check the score and cheer them on for a play or two. Work is the last place I'd be for a playoff game!

Interesting. I can understand players wanting to retire earlier because of concussions, mainly LBs or guys that bang heads making tackles or blocking every play or QBs like Aikman and Steve Young. I can't really think of Megatron ever having a concussion though.

Please just get a defense that can apply pressure next season. Add some pieces to the offense and hopefully Tyrod continues to develop. But Rex really needs to shift from being so much a players coach to more of a disciplinarian type IMO.

Here's a question. Is Rex able to change? He must realize his approach with the players doesn't yield the results they should. Can ownership tell him no more buddy buddy with the players? After a 15 penalty game, not to stand at the podium and slam your fist and talk about how damn proud you are of your guys. That would be the only way IMO, that this would work. If Rex changed his style of coaching, instead of running camp Rex and took a more hard nosed approach to the players.
