  1. The more I think about it, the more I want to spend the majority of the slew of draft picks this year on defense. I want to see a monstrous front 7. The secondary was pretty decent this year and that was with virtually no pass rush. I'd be pumped if the first 4 picks went like DT, LB, DE, CB. I think this defense is a few pieces from being top 5 again. Strengthen OL through FA and draft RB Rashaan Penny.
  2. Thanks for that. It was pretty enjoyable. Except the part where he kicks his feet up on the table during a meeting. Seemed like a douchey kind of move.
  3. Bridgwater reminds me of Hoyer a little. Not a huge fan. I would rather see what we have in NP than go that route.
  4. Can Romo be the coordinator and the QB?
  5. Thanks for your efforts RD. And good job McDermott. It's good to see he holds his staff accountable as well.
  6. Gotta love those Pittsburgh bumble bees!! I'd love to see Buffalo do the red pants, blue jersey combo. It'd either be hideous or beautiful. No in between. Why is it again that the NFL doesn't allow teams to have more than one helmet? I know a lot of people hate the red helmets (I'm a fan), but I think it'd be nice to be able to throw them in here and there. It'd also allow for some cool uni combos, probably best in the league. Red, white and blue baby. Just need more red imo...
  7. True or false? Lack of tape is an advantage. I wasn't saying it wins you games or anything like that.
  8. Possibly enough tape if you delve into his college career. 4 quarters of football may be a little tough to figure out tendencies and stuff like that. But I guess if anyone could, it would be BB. Not saying NP would be any good if he were to go against the Pats D, but it would be sort of a Hail Mary type move.
  9. A Panther is basically a Jaguar
  10. 100%. The man is like a freight train.
  11. I agree. If the guy they want is in their sights they need to pull the trigger. But I also hope they don't sacrifice a pick and settle for a guy they're not sold on. The idea of building a monstrous defense with these draft picks is an intriguing thought. But they really need to find stability at QB also... It'll be a fun draft this year.
  12. The upside about starting Peterman against Belichick, would be the lack of tape. BB is a game planning mastermind and has Tyrod figured out. At least he wouldn't have that big of a grasp on NP's tendencies and stuff like that. Would it matter... doubtful haha.
  13. a not too distant 3rd would be KR/PR. Is there a more lackluster returner in the league than Tate? I was hoping to see Marcus Murphy back there today. I know it'd be a risk and that's not really McD's style, but the dude was an electric returner in college and also brought one back to the house against the Panthers, right in front of McD!! I thought that may be a part of the reason they acquired him. When you're a big underdog, you need to take that chance. Tate is like the ST's version of Tolbert. One big ST play could be the difference in a defensive struggle. Ahhh oh well.
  14. Seriously though, when's the last time you were this excited about the draft??
  15. Marrone gets a lot of heat from Buffalo and maybe it's deserved, but the guys teams win where he goes.
  16. I feel like McD did a pretty good job with this roster. This D is gonna be pretty nasty very soon.
  17. Hard to call out the defense that only gives up 10 points. Defensive gameplan was sound imo.
  18. I would say I think there's hope because of his anticipation and pocket presence. I think he has good accuracy. Those traits, imo, are the 3 most important for an NFL QB. I like how he challenges the defense and I like his aggressiveness. I don't think he was adjusted to the speed of the NFL and hasn't figured out the timing with his receivers and is still figuring out what he can and can't do. I'm not saying I'm ready to roll with him as a penciled in starter for next season. I just feel he possesses some quality attributes they are worth building the rest of his skill set around. I would be ok with allowing him to be a part of the qb competition next season and if he is the guy, I'm ok with it. But just my personal opinion on it, I think he could end up being a pretty decent quarterback and is an option I'd like to explore. He's a smart kid and after the learning curve, I think he'll be worth it.
  19. Roquan Smith, if there would be amazing. But I doubt he will be. But Rashaan Evans could be. Good against the run, is long in coverage and is a good pass rusher. Pairing him and a DT - Hurst, Wilkins or Payne would get me excited about this defense.
  20. I don't think you can rule someone out after about 4 quarters of football. He's been thrust into some pretty tough situations. I'm ok with going into next season with him competing for the starting spot. I think he could be serviceable in this league.
  21. 1. QB 2. Pass rush Today he had his finest playoff performance to date. JK. I dig Tony's skills at broadcasting though. Funny dude.
  22. I'm ok with a competition involving Peterman, a vet and possible a mid to high draft pick. I think there's a chance that Peterman could be a decent player. Today was a pretty tough situation to be thrust into.
  23. I hope he doesn't get dealt, I'd love to see him paired with another stud RB like Kamara/Ingram. He seems committed to Buffalo and McD also.
