The call wasn't terrible. The execution and the reason for it were. They felt like they had to because they had a punter that couldn't kick it longer than a bloop 40 yarder and they knew their defense couldn't stop Mahomes. It reeked of desperation. Absolutely embarrassing. And the worst part was they took the ball out of Josh's hands and put it in probably the worst player on the entire team. I mean at least have a RB there to fake it. I don't know how the ST coach still has a job. Hopefully that position is "under review"

Mike Vick was the best football player in the country. I'm sure they did what they had to do to keep him eligible. While the rest of us were attending classes and studying the material, he was studying the answer sheet.

Yep I get it but from a leadership standpoint if Josh really focused in this summer and worked out like crazy he would set the standard for the team. When the team sees him out golfing they probably think well he's not working out maybe I don't have to either

Happens every year then Josh doesn't workout or practice all summer but he makes sure he hits up every golf course in the country. Maybe he should try out for the PGA. I'm not saying he's the reason we lost, I just don't like all of this talk with no action. He should be calling up guys to run routes and workout. He needs to set the standard.

All we have heard the past 3 seasons is how we need to get the #1 seed and make KC come to Buffalo. After last night's game, can we finally put that myth to bed? The only pre-requisite to winning the Superbowl is making the playoffs. It shouldn't matter if you are the #1 or the #7 seed. The goal should be to be playing your best football at the end of the season and have your team healthy. Division titles don't matter. Nobody cares except for the NFL in creating fake storylines where such and such teams are hated rivals. They are all rivals and they all want to beat each other. We had a home field advantage the past 2 post seasons and we have lost the past 2 post seasons. Whatever fake home field advantage they think we have is a myth and there's a ton of things much more important such as being healthy, executing at a high level, and limiting mistakes. They need to re-prioritize their goals and objectives.

And that's why it's a low percentage throw. Everything has to go perfect for it to happen. Good blocking, time to throw, an accurate throw 30+ yards away (good luck, almost nobody can make that throw), a receiver that can run the perfect route and get open, the receiver making a tough catch in traffic, etc. Very low percentage play. The right thing was run everyone deep and hit Diggs underneath for 10 yards and keep the clock moving.

Yep, the end zone shots were low percentage throws that were nearly impossible to make and even so it would have been terrible strategy to leave the best QB in the league that much time to answer back. Why put your defense, that's being held together with duct tape at that point, back out there? That's either terrible play calling or it's on Josh. I'm leaner towards the latter
