They went in a different direction with the offense. McDermott hired Dennison so it's his fault for trying to stick a square peg in a round hole with Tyrod in an offense that doesn't suit him. They set him up for failure and they made it clear that McD is not hitching his wagon to Tyrod and wants to bring in his own QB. Tyrod isn't great but he has certain skills that can win you games given the opportunity. Peterman is more suited for this offense. I'm not saying he's better he's just in a better position to succeed given the circumstances

This. Tyrod did xyz last year, but that was last year with different offense, different coaches, different players. He looks completely lost in the new offense and it's going to be a disaster

Overrated: all NE players. You are all replaceable except tb12 Underrated: Groy comes to mind. Why did they re-sign Wood when Groy is cheaper and just as good? Put him in at G if he's not going to play C. He's too good to be on the bench.

Something defenses will game plan for once real games start. If he can't make the throws they can play man on that side and send extra rushers knowing he has had problems with pressure in his face. I get a Jeff Tuel vibe from Peterman. I hope I'm wrong! Yes Rudolph, Faulk, Mayfield would be the next trip to keep an eye on. I just think we need the best of the best but a good year could move those guys up to top tier

You are right. There is always 1 guy that comes out of nowhere and ends up being one of the top guys like Trubisky last year. But for my money I'm going for one of the proven guys, not a 1 hit wonder. For all we know Donald might have been a 1 hit wonder but as of right now those are my 3 guys assuming they play to the level they have in previous years. Looking forward to watching them this season

The fact that Osweiler is getting a lot of attention shows that Tyrod would have been highly coveted. We should have traded him. It feels wrong going into the season with him knowing how bad this is going to be. He's going to lose his trade value and we will end up just cutting him and getting nothing

I liked the old way. Cut it down and give those players that legitimately have a shot more playing time and reps rather than playing a bunch of guys you know won't be on the team.

After Cam gets cut maybe he will get a job as a police officer. Let's see how he responds when his life is on the line and he has less than a second to react.
